1. Annie Herring's soaring vocals express reverence for God and enchant the listener at the same time. She has a unique voice which joyfully attests to the blessings of belonging to the Lord.
   Whether it's the upbeat "Hide Away" or the more contemplative "When We Hit the Ground", Herring's songs pack a powerful message which is delivered by an enchanting voice. My personal favorites on this album are "You Are" and the beautiful ensemble voices of "Glory in the Highest". Herring's CDs are not always readily available, but they are worth the extra effort to track them down. She is a wonderful Christian artist!

1. I have to say that when I for the first time heard the song "God" I was amazed! Such a great song and such a great singer with great message! This album is like a Christian answer to Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill", only much better! This whole album is basically same kind of Christian rock and it's working for me! Rebecca has such a great voice and her voice is superb! The album has much more to give than "God" - "You're the Voice", "Go And Sin No More", "You Then Me", and "Me Without You" for exapmple. "Speak to Me", "That's Waht Matters", and "A Cold Heart Turns" are such great peaceful songs! Rebecca has proved that she has a perfect voice to sing both peaceful and heavy songs!

2. I grew up listening to my parent's Christian music, which was Bill Gaither and started listening to secular music when I became a teenager. Rebecca St. James' music has definitely changed my taste in music. She is one of my favorite Christian artists. This album is one of my favorite amongst others like Newsboys and Jars of Clay. Having grown up listening to Gospel this has been great because it sounds secular, but the lyrics are Christian and I love the sound of contemporary Christian music because it reaches out to those who like the popular music out there that don't send a positive message that Rebecca St. James and Newsboys are sending. I enjoy listening to all of her albums, and cannot wait to attend any of her concerts because I have read rave reviews of her concerts. I also love the message she is sending about waiting to have sex until after marriage. She is a positive role model to our teens today.



3. I listen to both Christian and non-Christian rock and this album is one of the best albums I own and is, without question, Rebecca St. James' best effort to date.
   
   There are 11 tracks on the album (Track 10 is extended and contains a 'hidden' track) and all but 2 are exceptional. The lyrics are well-crafted, uplifted and powerful. The music goes hand-in-hand - paired perfectly to give the lyrics the most impact. From time to time, when I'm feeling low, this album is a great pick-me-up and a reminder about the wonders of God, faith and forgiveness.



4. I have had this album for several years and never tire of it. It has beautiful vocals, solid lyrics, and an overall great sound. If you are a Rebecca fan, but don't have this album, I would highly recommend it. If you are unfamiliar with her music, this is a collection that you will likely enjoy a lot.



5. This was my first ever Rebecca St. James CD and I loved it. I listen to it almost every day. I only have 4 of Rebecca's CD's and this is my 2nd fav (My fav Cd by RSJames is "Transform") Anyhow I think Rebecca did a wonderful job on this CD. I would definitley encourage you to go buy this CD! Keep up the great work Miss Rebecca!!!!!

1. This video was fun to watch. It's a very old Commissioned concert. It looks as though a family member taped the concert. It's a good quality, but nothing fancy. The volume is not loud. There are no bells and whistles, just Commissioned singing with the original members of the group. Take a walk down memory lane and be blessed.

1. Dissatisfied! Only 1-2 songs were slightly scratched but the company stated like new but it was like old. Stand behind your rating as if you were making the purchase. You reap what you sow.



2. I am not really a reggae fan more into the Christian rap but wow! This is a great album. This and his newest one Real & Personal are fiyah



3. If you love God and like reggae and rap...this is it. This cd is da' bomb and it's true word. I am very careful about what I listen to and I was thoroughly impressed with this album from start to finish. I can't wait for another one.



4. I am thoroughly impressed with my first time listening to Papa San. Every song has a flavorful beat with creative and moving lyrics. I work out to this cd continuously and it never loses it's flava.
   Papa San shares a great love of our Lord Jesus Christ and projects a true gospel message to the hearer.
   He also connects with the deep longings of our soul and personal struggles that we face in this fallen world.
   High props to you, Papa San, keep up the great work in Christ!

5. I always rated Papa San from as far back in he early 90s when he was doing secular music because of his hard working style and lyrical speed. Not only he's still one of the fastest dancehall artist out there, but also he's now using that same God-given talent in the most unique and inspirational way, praising the Lord.
   
   All the songs will get u rocking, dancing, and praising in a heartbeat. "Pop style", "Step pon di Enemy", "I know", "Can't flee from your Presence", "I call her blessed", and "Stay far" are some of my favorites.
   
   Papa San's "God & I" is a reminder that God can speak through any form of music he chooses. This album is a MUST HAVE, as it represents Papa San and Dancehall & Gospel music at his true best.

1. I AGREE WITH THE OTHER REVIEWER(JESS FROM MARYLAND)THAT THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO AND CD EVER. I'VE SEEN HUNDREDS AND SO FAR I HAVEN'T SEEN NOT 1 TO MATCH "BACK HOME IN INDIANA". THE SONGS AND MUSIC IS FIRST CLASS. BILL GAITHER IS A MASTER AT SELECTING SONGS AND MAKING A VIDEO. I ALSO AGREE WITH (JESS FROM MARYLAND) THAT JONATHAN PIERCE IS UNMATCHED ANYWHERE IN VOCAL ABILITY AND PRESENCE ON STAGE. THE 4 VOICES ARE A GREAT MATCH AND HARMONY EXCELLENT. I DON'T LIKE THE NEW TENOR AS WELL. HE'S TOO LOUD ON EVERY SONG, HARMONY NOT AS GOOD. (JESS FROM MARYLAND) WONDERED WHAT HAPPENED TO JONATHAN PIERCE. I HAVE HEARD THAT HE WAS FORCED TO RESIGN SO DAVID PHELPS COULD TAKE HIS PLACE. THE VIDEO AND CD ARE THE BEST, SO I RECOMMEND EVERYONE BUY THEM!



2. The gaither video back home in indiana is there best video ever. The biggest reason I like it is because it has John Peirce in it and as big fans will know he left the vocal band. I dont know why so if someone can get back to me on why i would appreciate it. The video is filled with wonderful songs and as usual everyone in the band is singing from the heart. Thanx

1. Cd is wonderful. I however ordered two and only received one.



2. This was given to me as a gift. Our family had moved from America to England. I was having a rough time- with the move, finding a new church and friends, and having a new baby in the new country. This music helped me connect more with my personal relationship with God. My 2 young daughters (both under 4) and I listen to this practically everyday. Especially in the morning when we are eating breakfast and doing our devotionals. It is a great find and so many songs. Upbeat and calming choices.

You will find a picture of the NEW Album Cover and a complete list of the 10 NEW Songs from the album due to be released 10/19/04. The new Smalltown Poets recording is complete! The album titled "It's Later Than It's Ever Been" is scheduled to be in stores October 19, 2004! Exactly 2 Weeks From Now!



2. I'm just a huge SP fan! This is a well thought out disc. I wish they would make another! I have all their stuff and I never been let down.



3. These guys are just great. I have been listening to them for quite some time. Honestly I bought this CD because I am the third. I love the lyrics and the tunes are melodic. Out of 300+ Christian CD's I now own this are certianly in the top ten.



4. These guys did more with less on this album. The lyrics have intergrity. The beat rocks and the acoustic tracks are insightful. Not as polished as the first two albums, that's what makes this so complete. A true pursuit of excellence that reveal a love for an excellent Savior.



5. I gave the last Smalltown Poets a less than glowing review. There were only a few songs on that CD I truly enjoyed (the spoken word intro to "Quasar" made me cringe). THIS time the Poets have hit a homerun. "Third Verse" is a strong CD from start to finish. "Any Other Love" is just a perfect song. It's the best thing they've done. And they certainly know a good song to cover... not once but twice! "The Lust...." and "Beautiful Scandalous Night"... Wow, great taste guys!! If you are looking for good, solid rock with smarts, this is it.
