2. I just heard Mark in concert this weekend in Tulsa - He was totally amazing! The songs will move your heart, fill your soul, and bring tears to your eyes! I can't wait to order more of his music!



3. Mark Schultz is an up and coming Christian musician who is widely known for his Mark Across America Tour - when he rode his bicycle from California to Maine. (The profits went to support The James Fund which helps widows and orphans around the world.) Anyway, he is an excellent singer, producing many wonderful and touching songs.
   
   I must say that this is the first Mark Schultz album that I got, and I really loved it. I loved Walking Her Home, which is probably the greatest love song I have EVER heard, and Broken & Beautiful, a great statement of faith. This is a great album, one that I highly recommend to all believers...and to all lovers of fine contemporary music.
   
   And, the make a good deal GREAT, this album contains a DVD that has a documentary preview of his Mark Schultz Across America Bike Tour, a music video for Everything To Me (a must-see!), some behind the scenes shots, and a bunch of great commentaries. Yeah, this is a great thing to get with a great album!

1. I'm going to make this a short one, as everybody else has beaten it to death. I was not prepared for what I heard when I picked this album up. I had seen the very last song of their set at The Bamboozle and was blown away. This album completely redefines what it is to be metal, what is to be hardcore, and what it is to combine the two. The synergy created by all of their different sounds blended together is just incredible. They'll grind it out in one moment, and then blow you away with some of the heaviest metal riffs you've ever heard. Recommend this album for certain!



2. wow I don't even have words for this album. I mean seriously its a jaw dropper. I don't know how many different types of metal are possible to incorporate on a single album today but these guys take the cake on originality. From the killer vocals which can range from shrill screams to blend with oh' so soft melodic singing; it will leave you with goosebumps all over your body; that, combined with the monster riffs and killer breakdowns powerful enough to destroy car stereos and make small unsuspecting kids on street corners cry... this is simply one of the best albums I have heard in a long long time. First time I listened to the cd was through my computer speakers but right after I had to bust out my bose headphones and have a serious head banging session giving this monster of a production the attention is demands and deserves.
   Don't even hesitate at all, if you like metal at all, this is a must have.



3. I really like TDWP, they get better musicly every CD, you can really see them grow. This is a great buy for any TDWP fan.



4. I first heard of these guys when I checked out Gwen Stacy. My brother bought plagues and I checked it out. It is amazing. Some of the songs sound the same at points, but there are parts that stand out in each song whether it be a cool piano part or the vocals. Think of them as like a really heavy chiodos. Sweet riffs, sweet screams, sweet vocals. Nough Said.



5. This is absolutely the most intense CD I have ever heard from any band in my entire life! I can't even imagine what their third CD will be like!

1. Dewayne's testimony is a blessing to me. His CD has songs to listen to when you are going through a storm. It reassures you that the bad times will come to an end soon.

4. Listening to this CD you can feel the anointing of God! His voice and his testimony God healed him from Aids! How Great is our God...this CD will renew your faith in God and uplift you in the spirit. Truly a blessing I had heard a song of his (Let Go, Let God) but didn't think his CD would that good I was wrong and this CD will bless you too!

1. It's amazing that the Newsboys are able to reach such a wide variety of people. This is an absolutely incredible CD that we first received as a gift, went to the GO concert and fell in love with the Newsboys. (We're in the upper 50's, too!) Since then, this is the CD we give as gifts. If you are not stuck in a rut somewhere or even if you are, get this CD and open your eyes and broaden your music interest. The message is so clear! A wonderful Christian group and CD!



2. I've been a Newsboys fan since I was 4 and I loved songs like "Shine"
   and others but when I heard they were going to do a new album,I was happy and surprised and I thought it wasn't going to be not good but I WAS WRONG
   This is there best cd since Shine:the hits{Highly recommended}I like songs
   "Go","Something beautiful","In wonder",Secret kingdom and everything else!
   YOU MUST BUY IT!!!!!
   P.S if you are thinking of buying the Remix version of this,save your money,buy this instead!



3. This album gets boring toward the end. The first couple of songs are good, but the rest is just OK. Nothing that interest me. The special edition is good for long time fans, with the following of the band, and a behind the scenes look. But overall, not their best album, but STUPENDOUS compared to the rest of the stuff they've come out with so far in the decade. Still looking for the old Newsboys.



4. I already had Newboys "He Reigns: the Worship Album", which I love. I bought "Go" specifically for the song "In Wonder", which I think is one of the best songs that the Newsboys have ever done. Well, the whole album is GREAT! It is not so much praise and worship, but rather really, really good music.... especially for driving! I have a mix of albums in my changer, because sometimes I do like to sing along with praise and worship songs, - but other times I just like to crank up the volume and enjoy the artistic talents of this band. I give this album an enthusiastic five stars!!



5. I purchased this cd after listening to 'Something Beautiful' on the radio. I am so glad I did, because it's a great cd. One where you don't skip any of those 'ok' tracks. All I can say is if you're a fan of newsboys,(or you enjoyed some of the sample music) this is a great buy, and you won't be disappointed!

I went into every store I could think of looking for any cd's for Jason Upton and couldn't find it anywhere not even at Best Buy but a friend of mine told me to go on Amazon.com and I would be able to find it at first I thought why all the go through all the trouble for a cd but after recieving it in the mail I can say it truly was worth the wait. I been looking for a cd like that this that is extremely on a whole nother level of worship. Eventhough the cd was a couple of years ago this man of god was is giving us a future revelation of the dimensions of god as it relates to worship. I thank god of annointing Jason with the gift or realism and pray that he and his family of prospering in the things of god. Keep up the revelational annointing of worship.



4. This is one of my favorite albums of all time!
   I work at a Christian crisis pregnancy center where the Executive Director and staff walk by faith. After playing several of the songs during our staff prayer time many others wanted to purchase a copy of it.
   It has been a great blessing to all and God is using it powerfully.



5. This album is simply amazing. It gets better each time I listen to it. This is thought-provoking worship of Jesus Christ, and the sound is unique...it's awesome.

2 comments about Cedarmont Worship for Kids, Vol. 2.

1. The greatest praise that I have for this series of CDs is that they are not annoying. As a parent, I want my children to grow up hearing these songs but when the usual kids cds make you want to drink yourself to sleep, it is hard to take more than a few songs. These are very well produced and done in a manner that has the entire family in mind. I highly suggest all volumes of this series.



2. I love ALL the songs on this cd. I play them sometimes early in the morning to start my day off with a cheerful mood. Great to listen to at the end of a hectic day as well. If you love Jesus and love praise and worship songs then you will love this selection, too. Be blessed!

1. These cds are enjoyable musically and lyrically. The lyrics are not as poignant as some of his other works. However, each work does it's work in ministering. That is more important than being schohlarly.



2. Excellent CD would highly recommend it. The selection is great and the songs are beautiful. The record label picked a wide selection of great songs from his massive music collection. His voice is so calming and the music is wonderful. A great CD for the person who is just starting a collection of Christian music.

5. I actually bought this cd by chance. I was surfing on Amazon when I accidentally clicked on this album. I decided to listen to a few of the clips and immediately I knew I had to pick up this gem. Praise the Lord for music like this! In these times of cheesy commercialized songs, Talbot's music stands out with strong Biblical lyrics and haunting peaceful melodys. I just recently had surgery and during my recovery this album has brought me much comfort. I definitely recommend these 35 songs for your collection. Thank you.

3. All I can say is that this is Norman Hutchins at his best. His ministry continues to bless many the world over. This project has a little bit of everything, from the down home traditional (It's Your Season, He's Been Good) to the praise and worship (Your Love Is Amazing, along with tracks eight through ten). With guest appearances by Pastors Timothy Wright and Daryl Coley, this is a musical treat for the true gospel lovers.

   If you're a high-strung person like me, I recommend this beautiful, gentle, instrumental music that is both soothing and emotionally engaging, yet never maudlin. It has been a "God-send" while driving in heavy morning rush-hour traffic. Despite all the aggravations caused by socially-challenged drivers who don't know how to share the road, I find that I still arrive at work calm and centered thanks to the beneficial effects of this masterful Windham Hill CD. After weeks of listening to it every single morning, it's still not boring. I strongly recommend it for Type A personalities!



2. Prayer: A Windham Hill Collection
   
   Deeply moving and comforting. Unusual arrangements that breathe new life into the compositions.



3. This is a delightful collection of music appropriate to meditative prayer. It is often my prayer companion, and I like the style and performance found on this CD. I highly recommend it to people who enjoy deeper reflection with a wordless musical background.



4. Track 3, Be Thou My Vision, was a surprise as the song was the final song played at my father's funeral. It set the closing mood most fittingly. While Be Thou My Vision is my favorite the entire collection is wonderfully mellow. I recommend it for for the mellow moods.



5. After criticizing Windham Hill in the past for often recycling the same songs over and over in various collections, I have to hand it to them with the new "Prayer" CD. It's a fine set of all-new acoustic versions of hymns or spiritual songs, plus a good number of original compositions. Producer Dawn Atkinson has done an excellent job of lining up a bunch of top-drawer people for "Prayer," and in working with the artists on the song selection.

   Things get started with Tim Story's lovely piano rendition of the "Sanctus" from Faure's Requiem. The quiet and reflective tone of that piece carries throughout the CD. Other highlights include Paul McCandless's moving "Lord's Prayer" version and Steve Erquiaga's "Ave Maria." "Prayer" is a perfect disc for background listening if you're engaged in some activity that needs harmonious yet unobtrusive accompaniment.
