- This cd Revelation by Third Day spoke to my heart. I rocked, I worshipped, I praised God in a way I never have done outside of church before. It was as if these songs were written just for me... and it will feel that way for anyone who hears this cd.
- I began listening to Third Day about a year ago on the local Christian radio station. I then bought every CD I could find! True to form, this latest is AWESOME! Highly recommended!
- Great new CD from a talented and inspiring group! Bought as a birthday gift for my husband, he is thoroughly enjoying it and listens to it frequently. Catchy and inspiring music as well as lyrics. A must have for any Third Day fan.
- This CD is excellent! What a way to rock.
Third day's last CD was so healing but very specifically focused on grieving.
We have not stopped playing Revelation since we got it.
- I love this CD! My husband also likes it and has given it to his brothers who are not christian. Mac Powell sounds like Travis Tritt to me and if you weren't listening to the words, this CD could cross to other music arenas. Some of it is soft, some rockin', and part of it just sounds hill billy, but it's all good. This is one CD I don't think I'll tire of too soon.

- This is an awesome album from the amazing Christian group Casting Crowns. You can't go wrong with this album. Amazing and worth the buy! I think if you like Casting Crowns you'd probably also like my current new favorite artist I found through myspace. I think they'll be as big as Casting Crowns and already starting to see a huge interest in them. See my other reviews for The Warehouse Band
- Love the band and this CD. It's good modern christian music that my teenager and I can listen to and agree on.
- Actually we both would give it 2 thumbs up - so 4 thumbs up. This is in the CD player in the car and stays there. Casting crowns has done a great job with this CD.
Would highly recommend to a friend - If you are questioning whether you would like this CD - If you enjoy Contemporary Christian Music then you will enjoy this.
- I like this CD, but not as much as some of the other Casting Crowns CD's.
- I can't believe I haven't written a review for this album yet! Maybe I didn't buy it from amazon, lol! I love this album to pieces. All the way from What This World Needs to Every Man, Slow Fade to all because of Jesus...great just awesome! I had the privilege of seeing this band perform at the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, VA back last November with my brother and I tell you what..this band cares for souls! I, only being a new christian for a couple of months prior I was on a spirtual high already and this band lifted me up higher! Casting Crowns is one of those exceptional Contemporary Christian Bands that you would feel comfortable having your 6 or 8 year old son or daughter listen to. I had Lifesong and I knew how much I enjoyed that album, still there most phenomenal work to date and then picked up the debut album self titled Casting Crowns. If you want to listen to a band that actually loves Jesus and wants everyone to know it, I can guarantee this band will fulfill your craving.

- This group was new to me, but I like their sound. The message in the words is a little light, though.
- Lifehouse is one of the better recent bands. This album is a very good collection.
It features good vocals and instrumentation. It contains several catchy songs. The better ones include the following: Disarray, First Time, Whatever It Takes, Who We Are, Broken, and Storm. The last two songs contain a spiritual and likely Christian theme. They are very good.
If you are not familiar with this group, 'Who We Are' is worth a listen. I also think that their previous album, 'No Name Face' is rather good.
- Who We Are
I came to Amazon looking for their special edition album released in 2008 but found & purchased it from Walmart(they have it exclusive?). There is a 2nd disk with live tracks on it...ALL are excellent! I've abandoned most all music owned and listen to only Lifehouses' albums now. They just get better and better!
- I think the new lifehouse album is great. I'm from holland and here this album is not even for sale. I don't think this is the best album they made so far. But that is my personal opinion. I'm more into songs like simon, hanging by a moment and you and me. There are not many songs like that on the album. Even though it's a great album
- I'll admit that I got hooked by "Hanging By A Moment" like the rest of us in 2000. In some ways it seems like the band is so defined by that song that some don't really give a full appraisal of their body of work. As much as I enjoyed the first 3 releases, in my opinion "Who We Are" is the landmark Lifehouse release. It has standout songs like "First Time" and "Broken". I also love "Whatever It Takes", "Disarray", and "Storm". Unlike the other releases which were a step down from "No Name Face", "Who We Are" is solid from beginning to end and in my opinion is their best overall.

- Awesome,This WOW 2008 Blessed my family and friends! It is uplifting and encouraging. It is fun to sing along with and will help you plaise the Lord! God's word will not come back void!
- I am not happy with this CD. I listen to christian radio all day long at work and most of these songs on this CD I have not heard before. Wish I would not have purchased it.
- Great CD. Love these CD's. When you can't stream at work, it as good as listening to the radio. Got a really great deal in the used section. Just like new. Can't wait for 2009.
- I bought this CD on the advice of several friends who know I like worship songs. This CD didn't do much for me...it was too much rock and roll and a heavy metal feeling. I like the songs that are more total worship to God and not the ones where someone takes a love song and you're supposed to apply it to God. I could be way off but this CD is not in my car's player.
R.
- I enjoy these cds, but I'm surprised that there seems to be less variety than some of the previous editions.

- The songs in this CD give glory to God and are really good. I am in my thirties and like worshiping and praising God. Having great music available really enhances the whole experience.
Thanks.
- I really enjoyed this CD. I especially liked the song "Healer." It is a faith filled song and really speaks to me. My second favorite song is "Where we Belong." It's about enjoying God's presence. I think this is one of the best Hillsong CD's.
- I am a huge Hillsong fan, but I am not biased by any stretch. I love to worship God and get into His presence, so I treat all this music the same.
I own many Hillsong and Hillsong United (the youth worship team from Hillsong church)albums. I recently acquired "This Is Our God" and after listening to it, I think this might be the best album from Hillsong's worship team yet.
the newest release from Integrity Media and Hillsong Music Australia (Pro, This Is Our God follows the release of Savior King, the last live-recorded worship album from Hillsong's worship team, recorded in 2007, and the youth worship team's I Heart Revolution album released in 2008. I liked Savior King, but my only complaint is it didn't have as many new songs. This Is Our God has a lot of new songs never released by Hillsong Music Australia. Ever since Joel Houston became the worship team leader and pastor (taking Darlene Zschech's place), adds a freshness to the variety of songs including Sing To The Lord, This Is Our God, High and Lifted Up, Desert Song, You'll Come, With Everything, and a other previously released songs like You Deserve and Healer.
Hillsong fans will notice that Darlene Zschech is missing from this album, and this is the only the second Hillsong album I can think of that doesn't feature her performing.
All I can say is this is a truly inspiring album! The music really ministers to me, and I can feel God's presence every time I put it on and crank it up! With Everything, Sing To The Lord and This Is Our God really touch my heart in a special way, as does Healer, as I have miraculously overcome many hurdles with physical and mental sicknesses.
However, it was a disspointment that former Planetshakers singer and bassist Michael Guglielmucchi lied about his cancer diagnosis and is now battling a pornography addiction. He was also recently investigated for misusing money donated to him.
As a result, present versions of This Is Our God do not include this song (Mine does, on early releases it's track # 8), which is too bad because deception or not, I think it's a good song and a real asset to this compilation. As a pastor, it's a shame he acted the way he did; he is supposed to adhere to a higher level of accountability and conduct. He is such a gifted singer and song-writer, he didn't need to lie about being sick, because his song touched me all the same.
I give Hillsong high praise for their ministry and how they touch people with worship and awesome music program. This Is Our God is an asset that I think will touch and transform a lot of lives. Even if you are not a fan of Christian music, if you are a believer, I reccomend this album. I think it will change the way you worship and open new doors for getting into God's presence.
- If you are looking for a cd that will inspire you in your walk with God, this is a great one. It has been a great help in my personal worship experience. I highly recommend it. Could be Hillsong's best work yet.
- I purchased this CD on the basis of the artist's background story for his "Healing." I learned later that his supposed cancer treatments were only a lie - a lie to his band, his family, and the larger body of Christ.
I do not have not issues with Amazon, the product was shipped timely - only the artist who really needs "healing."
Signed

5 comments about What If We.
- My daughter and I heard the first track on the radio one day and sat in the car with our mouths hanging open. I ordered the CD that night.
The first track, "Give Me Your Eyes" is life changing! The other tracks very from catchy to profound.
The music is rich without being overbearing and on many of the songs the music could sand on its own.. Together the music and lyrics support each other completely.
As much as I liked the CD on my first listen, it has continued to grow on me and I am constantly hearing things that I missed the previous 30 listens.
- I bought this CD after hearing the song "Give Me Your Eyes" on the radio. The whole album is enjoyable to listen to with very memorable tunes & lyrics. I like the fact that it's Christian based music without being preachy. I have already recommended "Lover Never Fails" for my sister to use at her wedding - it's a perfect wedding song! Brandon Heath has a special message to share through the music on this CD.
- While it took Brandon Heath's debut a little while to grow on me, I was hooked on this one right from the start. Of course, it helps that I loved the first four songs.
"Give Me Your Eyes" opens things off with a bit of a hip hop vibe as Brandon prays to look at the world and see their pain because he has God's view of them.
"Wait and See" is easily my favorite. It returns to the acoustic sound of the first CD (which Brandon keeps for the rest of this disc). It's probably because I need the reminder myself right now, but the idea that God is still working in our lives is so encouraging.
"Trust You" reminds us that God is absolutely trustworthy. If He gave His life for us, there's no reason not to trust Him.
"London" is a piano based piece with an evocative feel. It's a song about two people in love who are apart. I'm curious to know the back story but really love it as is.
Other highlights include "Love Never Fails," another ballad that describes love so beautifully, "Listen Up" which reminds us to truly listen to others, and "When I'm Alone" which reminds us that God is there no matter who else may be there for us.
After the variety in styles of the first four songs, I was hoping that this would carry out to the rest of the tracks. Alas, that is this disc's only real failing. Many of the songs fall into the mid tempo pop/rock mold and all blend together for me. There are some good songs there, but they need something to help them stand out more.
Even so, this is a good second disc. I know I'll be listening to it for a long time to come.
- I first listened to this CD on the day it was released and fell in love with the first track right away. But the more and more I listen to the CD, the more I enjoy the rest of it as well.
The first track draws you in, it's catchy and a great piece of work. Then, once it has your attention it feeds you tracks that don't seem like anything special at first, but the tracks grow on you and become just as special and meaningful as the first track. A few examples of the gems you'll find on this CD are "Sunrise" and "Listen Up".
Overall I love this album's full sound. A beautiful combination of meaningful lyrics, with a very rich accompaniment. Including not only the soft, simple sounds of acoustic guitars and a piano, but also the deep, punchy bass of contemporary music. This album is definitely worth the coin.
- I just got this CD today and I really enjoyed it. "Give Me Your Eyes" is a great song to start with. Its really thought-provoking. This CD has very good variety in my opinion, from the slower, sad tunes of "London," to the happy upbeat tunes of "Fight Another Day." Overall a definite must have for any Christian music fan. If you are looking for someone who is mellow, but catchy, try Brandon Heath.

5 comments about Newsboys Live: Houston We Are Go (CD+DVD).
- I had the good fortune to see the Newsboys during the 'Go' tour. Experiencing this DVD is a fun way to relive that.
Although the audio CD is good, there is not too much in it that is very different from previous releases. I do think that the versions of 'Blessed Be Your Name' and 'I Am Free' are better on this than the originals.
There is a lot of energy in this live performance that is a real treat. One part that is incredibly fun on the DVD is the drum solo. Seeing that live is amazing. Watching it on the DVD is pretty awesome as well.
This is a good pickup for any fan of the Newsboys. Anyone who is not a fan yet probably will be after this.
- Absolutely incredible. This would be getting a six star rating if possible. This will go down as the best album the newsboys produced. Even if you own all the songs on previous CDs, the newsboys slightly remix their songs live creating subtle improvement on all songs. The intensity the Newsboys bring to a live concert is captured wonderfully on the CD. I found myself singing aloud and dancing with my daughters (2 and 4) like we were at the concert.
"He Reigns" - is slightly heavier than the album version. Huge improvement over the original.
"Something Beautiful" has a more techno overtone and flows nicely together.
"Blessed be your Name" comes harder and stronger than the album version.
"Shine" is more complete with the guitar riffs have better flow and intensity.

- I was at the Woodland Pavillion for the first taping of this tour, third row stage right. It was an awesome show. When they returned this year to re-tape at the Berry Center, I was there again eighth row. Both shows were outstanding, and would be hard to enjoy the actual energy that was there via DVD/CD. Some people are already writting negative comments, but take it for what is worth. The 'boys put on an energetic show and were extremely loud. I have yet to get my copy, I am just writting as someone who was there and am eagerly awaitng my copy to arrive!
As for Phil being missed, yes he was. His high pitch vocals and bass were definantly missed. But the Newsboy's stilled pulled it off without a hitch. Not many bands could get away without doing a tour minus a key member.
- While Indeed a great moment for a groundbreaking tour of the best Christian band of all time . There is little that's actually "live" about this DVD /CD (which is the case with most live albums) First of all , Peter while a great vocalist and the best front man in the industry just has simply never sounded this Pitch perfect live . The Band creates the illusion its live by even keeping certain lyric "flubs" But they cannot trick this trained Ear ! Also Mr Colman also seems flawless on the guitar and in fact he is quite a sloppy guitarist . Overall its visually a good show to watch . They are still a great band , But they are far from a tight musical Machine that they were when Phil Joel and Jody Davis were in the band .
Take this For what it is . If you want a real live album , Go pick up one of the bands live nation cd's from the "adoration tour " and hear how the band really sounds live ... No where near what you have on this release .
- Yet another phenomenal project from the newsboys. I was blessed to see this particular tour a total of four times and I can honestly say that the newsboys and their crew did a fantastic job at capturing this tour live. As far as who's covering the bass lines go, I know its a little confusing but Jeff Frankenstein is now actually covering bass and keys and is now singing backup vocals so it was really great to see him actually in the front of the stage and to see some of his moments he had to shine. The boys were also in great voice when this was recorded, both Peter and Paul sound great, and no its not lip-syncing, just listen closely, shine almost always sounds that great live. Overall I was very pleased with this product, for those who like me were blessed enough to see this tour live, it brings back wonderful memories and gives you an in the audience feel to relive the Go Tour forever, the picture is great and gives you views from very interesting angles, the sound is crisp, clean and just sounds great. This is without a doubt the best live project the newsboys have ever released and one of the best released this year. The one surprise I was delighted to see on this project was Peter singing lead on "Entertaining Angels", it was absolutely beautiful, and who can forget the fun element the newsboys bring that no other band has, such as the spinning "drum solo" and songs like "Wherever We Go" and "Breakfast" just make the show plain fun. I hope you buy this live CD/DVD combo, it is truly moving and awe-inspiring and proves that this band is still committed to what they do day in and day out.
Blessings

5 comments about Save Me From Myself.
- This album is absolutely amazing. Whether you are into his message or not you need to listen if you are a hardcore metal fan. Every song offers something unique. I have listened to this non-stop since it was released.
- This album really impressed me even though I've never been a Korn Fan. But Head is different cool riffs, "flipping" drumbeats, crazy samples and guitar effects and a lot of feeling and honesty. Like in his books Head is really a living testamony for Christ's transforming power. I'm lucky that this album is not the softy, mellow kind as I had expected it. It's both heavy with extreme shouting and weirdo song structures and it's also very melodic and has some catchy chorusses. Go get it, this album and Head's books are raw, but up-lifting.
- NIN, Tool, SOAD, and now Head! Finally!
There are too few artists that have something to say and can truly ROCK!
I picked this one up cold out of respect for Korn of which I am a fan but they are not in my 1st tier as those noted above.
This album really grew on me to the point that I can't stop listening to it. Korn was never consistent enough for my tastes and their message was never very interesting.
Brian was truly inspired when he made this album. This is as hard as it gets but is also multi-layered and complex and makes you feel it.
Remember the first time you heard Sabbath...or NIN Pretty Hate Machine?
You knew it was something but were not sure what...it took a few listens but then you were addicted. This album was like that for me.
High praise I know. Time will tell.
Head is born again but he dis-owns organized religion and the Political Christianity. He drives home the fact that too many wars are fought in the name of the Prince of Peace.
He knows what being a spirit is all about and is a fantastic representative for the true Christian "church".
This album is a must for any metal head that is thoughtful and spiritual...which is most of them!
If Head does not put out another decent album this is enough.
- Its not easy for someone of his stature to venture out and do something like this. It could easily have been career suicide. The reason it was not is because its "real". I know "keeping it real" is a well overused cliche these days, but in this case I truly think it applies. Brian has found a new way of life through his faith in God. He decided to put that out there in his music. I say, congrats Brian,as I am a new christian myself. Ive been some of those places you speak of, and they are as hard as you say they are to get out of. I think the lyrics and the guitar work are both stellar on this album. I highly reccomend buying it.
- I am not much of a metal listener, though these other reviews stand to show that this album delivers in that regard. I largely purchased this album as I was curious about how Brian having found Christ would reflect in what he had to say. If you have read his book you can see the parrells between his lyrics and his life, both with Korn and after. I really want to just take a moment to say that I think Brian is quite brave to go public with his faith in the midst of the current climate of our anti-christian culture. Way to go Brian. May you continue to learn and grow; as a father, as an artist, and as a follower of Christ.

5 comments about Today Is the Day.
- Since receiving this CD the day it came out it's been in my CD player on 'repeat'!
And you know how the Holy Spirit works... bringing to mind scripture or song when you need it... the title track is my favorite... but we've been singing it in church for a few months now, a real focus in on Jesus-God to start the day! But also Lincoln's rendition of "Salvation is Here" comes to mind when satan throws one of his darts through-out the day "And I don't care what the world throws at me now, I'm gonna be alright!" My third favorite is again bringing my focus to God in "God You Reign" - so descriptive with "You paint the night, You count the stars and You call them by name, The skies proclaim, God, YOU reign..." And often times the phrase "Give Him Praise, un, uh, un, un, uh!" gets stuck in your head and reminds you (me) to praise Him.
Though I prefer the peppy, energetic songs the best, the entire cd is a nice balance of pep & mellow. I have a little friend with cancer (Please send up a prayer for her!) and I gave her the CD just for those days she needs a pick-up and renewed hope in Our God so awesome, loving, and powerful healer, the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
- I've enjoyed Lincoln Brewster for many years and have been led by him in worship at Creation East twice and found his passion and musicianship very engaging, particularly on some of his biggest hit songs The Power Of Your Love, Let The Praises Ring, Everlasting God and Love The Lord, all of which have been staples in corporate worship at my church for many years. His songs tend to be vertical worship with biblical lyrics and with nice melodic hooks similar to Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman and Tim Hughes.
Today Is The Day is no exception to past quality work by Lincoln Brewster and will certainly add a couple more songs to corporate worship, in particular the hook-filled and biblical title song and the great cover of the Hillsong classic Salvation Is Here. As others have said, the musicianship and guitar playing really stands out on this album most of all. Everywhere I Go and Give Him Praise are prime examples where you can get lost in the nice melodies and guitar playing. For me, the stand-out songs which keep me coming back are the excellent God You Reign, which I can best describe as Hillsong meets Jeff Healey Band along with my favorite song The Power Of Your Name, sung with Darlene Zschech of Hillsong. I had to immediately replay the latter song as it is a must-have track on this solid vertical worship album by Lincoln Brewster. For me, this album is 4 out of 5 stars.
- I'd really like to purchase this album as MP3's, but there's only one of the tracks available for download... iTunes offers this album, but it isn't DRM-Free, and has a lower audio quality :-(
Amazon, please offer this whole album as an MP3 album, thanks!
- There are many artists whose genre is praise and worship music, and to be honest, much of that music is boring and predictable. It almost seems to be just a commodity.
"Today Is the Day", however, is different. In this collection of all-new songs (all but one written or co-written by Lincoln), Lincoln Brewster offers simple but honest lyrics and amazing musical skills. The cd is anything but boring as it explores different musical styles: the gospel-tinged "Give Him Praise", the lovely acoustic "The Love of God" and of course some rocking numbers with solos that feature Lincoln's blazing guitar artistry.
I highly recommend this cd, and I also recommend that you catch Lincoln in concert as he and his band are in great form, and the live format will give an extra dimension to these songs.
One last thing: do yourself and the rest of the world a favor, and stop buying the boring, low-quality, put-it-out-there-and-they'll-buy-it worship music. Instead support artists (and I mean artists) like Lincoln Brewster and a few others who are the real deal and who make quality music.
- Once again, Lincoln brings his talent and love of God into our lives, so we can praise God with him.
God has truly blessed this man!

- This CD is so beautiful. I cry everytime I hear Cinderella, as I too have a daughter.
- It is a must buy CD. I love it. Chapman is a gifted artist and sings with the heart.
- This is a "Must Have" album for every parent who wants to cherish every moment with their cinderella.
