5 comments about Star Wars Trilogy: The Original Soundtrack Anthology.
- To me this is one of the greatest soundtracks ever produced. If you are a Star Wars fan then this is for you. This CD sounds great!! This is some of the most evocative, exciting and entertaining music in the history of movies. Like the movies themselves, this soundtrack will keep you on the edge of your seat, crying, laughing and smiling the entire time and brings to mind the images of the movies as if you were watching it while listening. This soundtrack belongs in your collection of Star Wars memorabilia. John Williams and the London Symphony have a masterpiece in this soundtrack and you will listen again and again enjoying it more each and every time you listen.
- I have three words: BUY THIS ANTHOLOGY. It is John Williams at his greatest in my opinion. It is Star Wars at its greatest. The "Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme)" is so awesome. Actually, ALL of it is awesome. "The Throne Room" is among my favorites of the tracks. Really, this anthology encompasses the epic of Star Wars.
- This is a great recording of John William's soundtrack for Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The LSO plays very well. The music is very good, and has many memorable themes throughout the soundtrack. This is one of my favorite soundtracks! You should listen to it if you haven't.
- I recieved this set for my Birthday a few years ago, and this, (along with my other Star Wars and John Williams CD's) remains at the front of my CD collection. It's mixtures and arrangements of the score are truly the best, (helmed by John Williams himself) and the London Symphony plays wonderfully.
When all is said and done, these are perfection.
- Audiophiles, take note -- portions of this anthology sound like they were hastily transferred to digital from a second or third generation copy of the master tapes. There is audible tape dropout in certain parts, as well as some hiss. Now hiss, in and of itself is not a big deal -- I actually prefer that it be left in, for the most part. But the dropouts are unforgivable. I've also heard an occasional crackling distortion, either from the original tapes or digital clipping. This recording was made in 1977, not 1957... why should there be these problems? This stuff is all too audible through a pair of Beyerdynamic DT-880 headphones.
Anyway, I haven't heard other remastered editions, but I recommend avoiding this one for the most part. Certain songs sound excellent, but many are marred by master tape issues to the point where they become difficult to listen to through good headphones, breaking the mood of the piece.

5 comments about A Musical History of Disneyland.
- This has just about everything you can think of from the 50 years of Disneyland's history. Every CD contains tracks from attractions and shows that are either still running, or long forgotten (like "Flight to the Moon" or "Country Bear Jamboree").
As a long time Disney fan and die-hard park goer, I truly enjoyed this set and is a must have for anyone who has been to Disneyland within the last 50 years.
- THIS IS JUST A MASTERPIECE, YOU REALLY NEED TO OWN IT, IF YOU DONT HAVE IT, DONT KNOW WHAT YOU`RE WAITING FOR?....
I JUST CANT STOP PLAYING THEM!!...I JUST FINISH WITH ONE CD AND THEN I SWITCH TO THE OTHER, I JUST CANT GET ENOUGH...
HELPS YOU TO SURVIVE UNTIL YOUR NEXT DISNEY TRIP. IT REALLY IS A MUST FOR DIEHARD FANS!!! AND AMAZON SERVICE...IT`S AMAZING...
- It is a wonderful set and well worth the price. I'm only 19 so I havent been able to experience many of these rides up close and personal, this is the next best thing!!! I recommend big time!
- This is a wonderful collection of all the disney attractions for the first 50 years. It sure brings back the memories and makes you want to pack your bags and board the next flight to Disneyland. I suggest this collection to any true Disney fan!
- I;m not going to repeat everything, this album rules. Ignore the one star and three star reviewer and buy it. Treasure it. Disney made if for us!

3 comments about Toddler Trio: Toddler Favorites/Playtime Favorites/Silly Favorites.
- As a teacher and educator, I have variety of children's music. These are by far some of the best CD's I have found in a long time. I use it for children of the very young up to Kindergarten and even 1st grade. Children love to be involved and actively engaged. The music is a collaboration of children and adults singing. It has even taken those treasures of long ago, provided a beat that is honestly contagious! As a mother of two older teens and an adult- this would have been a favorite in our house, that I am sure of!
This is one treasure that regardless of whether you are a parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, teacher, substitute or caregiver - IT IS A MUST HAVE !!! It will be loved forever!
- Lets face it my kid does not get into music. He does The Wheels on the Bus but thats it. He will sometimes dance to this but not really. I shouldn't have wasted my money.
- We bought this cd set because we were looking for some kid's songs for our 18 month-old son, Noah. He gets to hear kid's songs at school and we wanted him to be able to listen to different versions of the same songs at home. He loves all three CDs.
Before dinner is Noah's playtime and he loves us to put these songs on while he is playing with his cars. Sometimes he dances around to the songs. All three of the CDs in this collection are available separately, but the collection is really an outstanding value. I am picky about music (okay, I'm a music snob) and I can actually listen to these tunes without wincing. (Well, most of them anyway.) That says a lot coming from a person who will not let them play Kenny G at daycare for fear of permanent damage to my son's musicality. Is it great music, or great performances? No, but then again it does not need to be, it just needs to *not* be Barney. If you're looking to educate your child about music, get something else. If you're looking for background music to put on when your child is playing, this is a good choice.

5 comments about 102 Children's Songs.
- This is all you need to buy to help you and your child learn all the classics!
- I like to play these CD's as "background" music while the kids (2-years & 6 months) and I are playing; the music is cute and cannot be considered "annoying" as most children's music is. It's good for kiddies AND mommies!!
- My kids (15 months and 4 years) love these songs and I enjoy them too. I have to disagree with the previous reviewers. I think this set is a great value and worth every penny.
I like that there are some old favorites and some new songs mixed together. I think the voices are very easy on the ears. Just a pleasant listening experience overall.
- Okay, so this is not something I would listen to just for fun, but there are some real gems for storytime on these CDs. I have used "10 Little Bumblebees", "I Can Wiggle", and several other songs from these CDs, and the kids loved them. No, the songs here are not Mozart (or Laurie Berkner), but they get my storytime audience moving and counting, and many of the songs lend themselves nicely to motions or flannelboards. Even if you only use a few of the songs, it is well worth the price. If you do storytimes for groups of children, this is a set you should buy.
- Let's face it--if ANYONE listens to 102 children's songs all in a row, they are going to become cross. In small doses, these songs are not awful. I am not especially fond of some of the smooth jazz arrangements, but the gentle melodies are not bad across the board. Disc one is the best, with the fewest annoying songs. And really, where else will you find 102 songs for $10?

2 comments about 102 Camp Songs.
-
I was looking for a set of songs for Girl Scout camp. This set has a good combination of old and new. Some were familiar, some went back to my childhood, some were new. Good fun for children.
- The Camp Songs is just what KIDS like they're nice, gross, silly and more. My kids (8 & 5) love it because the words/songs are easy to remember and they get to sing-a-long. There are a few songs that I though is not appropriate for kids but they do not seem to even notice those. Like "Bring Back My Neighbors To Me" - a song about dead neighbors.
Even with the mentioned song I will still purchase the CD. The kids love it!

5 comments about The Wiggles Party Collection.
- If your child is a Wiggles fan, this is a great set. It contains many new songs that will keep the entertainment going for a long time!
- Baby loves the Wiggles, she falls asleep listening to this cd set every night. I think I need to purchase other cds too.
- We have watched a lot of Wiggles shows, even one concert...and these CDs are good, but have VERY few songs we had ever heard before.
- I purchased this CD set for my 18 month old son. He LOVES The Wiggles and he knows most of the motions to their choreography. One of his favorite songs is "Move Like an Emu." When we play these CDs in the car, I occasionally turn around and see his arms moving...the exact motions we see on TV/DVDs. You cannot go wrong with The Wiggles! If your child is a Wiggles fan, he/she will love these CDs. FYI: One of the CDs in the set includes lots of songs we had never heard before, but we were already familiar with most of the songs on the other two CDs.
- My son absolutely loves the music and dances around the house to it. It is a great value for 3 cds. The only problem is the plastic cd holders are lousy. My son used the item for two days and all were broken.

5 comments about Songs from the Street: 35 Years of Music.
- This set of 3 CD's had a great mix of classic and contempary Sesame Street songs.
- About half the songs are the original television versions. But the liner notes for the other half list them as being "from" other COMPILATIONS released in the 1990s.
Nowhere is it stated whether those compilations used the original versions or re-recordings, so who knows? Even the TITLE theme is not the original (It might be the version they use nowadays, but it's not the version most people know from the 70s).
Sesame should have just used the original TV versions of all tracks as that's what collectors of vintage material would be looking for (and paying quite a lot for).
They also should have focused more on the early years when the show was the most innovative. And as music was a major element, I'm sure there's a lot more material that could have been used, particularly those odd demonstrational songs about the number 5 or the letter R. Instead they've focused on the celebrity guests, most of whom don't really add much value.
I personally hoped there'd be that funky counting to ten song that featured on almost every episode (not the Pinball one, which I love too).
Disappointing, but until a better option comes along, this will have to do.
- I bought this when my daughter was born, and two years later she still asks for them to be played. The set contains three CDs, on which are collected famous songs, and ditties from the Sesame Street show...favorites like C is for Cookie, Healthy, Happy Monsters performed by famous groups like REM and more. The songs are not just kid friendly, adults will enjoy the refreshing take on some old favorites too:)
- I have always loved the music from Sesame Street, and as I have gotten older I have found that the next generation loves it just as much as I have, whether it be the older or newer songs. Since I bought this album, I have had it regularly playing at my sons' request. Funnily enough, anyone who walks in to our house smiles when they hear the music, ask what the album is, then sit back and enjoy it all - regardless of whether they have ever watched Sesame Street or not. Furry and real voices have universal appeal whatever the age of the listener! A beautiful album.
- If you grew up on Sesame Street - or just want some music for kids that isn't annoying - this is the box set for you! The songs are clever, amusing, lively, and educational. We bought it for ourselves as a trip down memory lane before our son was born - and since then it has been our favorite baby shower or first birthday gift! Everyone who has it loves it!
