1. I am not an orquestra player, but I would not play this at my next party.



2. This is an excellent CD showcasing the work of a brilliant young
   director. Anyone not familiar with this new talent will be very
   pleasantly surprised. The music is exciting and the direction superb.



3. This interpretation of many jewels of the latinamerican classical music is a must to understand and enjoy the music south of the border.
   
   The Venezuelan Youth Orchestra plays this music masterfully and you can sense their enjoyment while doing so.
   
   I recommend this recording to anybody interested in clasical music.



4. Vibrant energy with strikingly mature clarity. Beautiful latin music that swings moods from mellow to dramatic. Dudamel knows how to get the best from this youth orchestra (a somewhat misleading characterization for such a professional sound)!



5. This may not be the greatest music, but the orchestra sounds terrific. Most important, under the wunderkind Dudamel, the players convey a joyful sense of engagement and appropriately controlled abandon. A real winner!

5 comments about Baby Einstein: Lullaby Classics, Vol. 2.

1. It has different classical music composers and music selections. If you bought the Baby Bach, Bay Mozart #1 and #2, there will be some repeats. I still enjoy the music selections of the other composers.



2. This is great CD. We love Vol. 1 but it was getting a little over played so we bought Vol. 2. It's THE best thing for a car ride. Especially with a fussy baby who hates cars.



3. My son had a rough time giving up his musical mobile. He needed the music to help him calm down as he was falling asleep.
   
   In a moment of desperation, I purchased both this CD and volume 1 of the Lullaby Classics.
   
   When I played the CD I was pleasantly surprised, that the music on the CD was very calming. I also know most of the songs which made it more enjoyable. I even enjoy hearing it on the baby monitor when my son was trying to fall asleep.



4. This is a very nice cd to have home, it's the best way of introducing music to your baby. Amazing composers, great selection and the instruments used, made it easy for "little ears". It's a calming, sweet way of putting your baby to bed. Everytime I have time I turn it on and give a full body massage in my daughter... we both love it.

1. Andre Rieu in Tuscany did not move me like his amazing Wonderland production. Although the music and interpretation are always great, I feel that a CD would have sufficed.



2. The music selection makes us play the cd over and over. A great setting for the cd. The vocals really make the cd.

4. I'm not a classical music fan per say, but I have to say that I enjoyed this video immensely, He gets the audience involved in the music and there's even a conga line sort of in one of the pieces, He and his audience have fun with the music and so did I!

He takes one back in waves of nostalgia to a Europe of bygone days -- to ANYWHERE in the world of bygone days! All the homelands us "expatriates" long for and dream about. Personally, Andre's concerts and his music are the essence of ME. This, I tell my friends, is who I am, and what I'm all about. "But", my friends answer, "this is who we're all about too, and the essence of who WE are!" So we laugh and cry and sing along with ALL of Andre Rieu's fabulous concerts, "Tuscany" included. What I especially appreciate is that he delivers his commentary in the languages of the countries he's visiting, or that I can choose to hear it in German. This adds an extra-special touch of authenticity to his concerts, and to my "tears-in-wine" nostalgia while listening to them!
   Andre Rieu transports the viewer and listener to a world of beauty, grace and elegance. If you're tired of hard-rock, cheap-shock, bug-a-loo music, Andre Rieu is for You!

5 comments about Beethoven's Wig: Sing Along Symphonies.

1. This is a great product. The kids love it. Some reviews have mentioned that the lead vocalist is not very melodic. However, I see this as a plus. He has a zany way of cracking his voice which is a hilarious complement to the other opera-class voices on the CD.
   My kids seem to love the instrumental-only versions now that they associate these with the vocal versions.



2. I bought this as a birthday gift for a little boy. My kids and I love this CD and like to give it as a gift for other families. It is so fun for the kids, but also it has helped me be able to identify and remember the songs. I tried to think of my favorite song, but I love every one; they are so catchy! "The Kings and Queens of England" is a compact little history lesson. I need to get another copy for myself; one I loaned out never came back. That's okay - this is one CD I want every kid to hear!



3. My children are regularly singing the songs from this album, whether they are listening to it or not! It has been a fantastic way to introduce them to various composers. They have become quite good at identifying composers based on their musical styles from this CD! It's a lot of fun!



4. We often get children's CDs at the library so we do not get sick of the same songs (especially cheesy children's songs.) But we hadn't gotten this CD in about 2 years and my husband out of the blue suggested it. And then suggested we buy it! That was a shock. Yes, it's that good.



5. The Beethovens Wig CD's are so much fun to listen to because of the funny lyrics, while also familiarizing kids with classical music. We love them.

1. We bought this to use in the church nursery. It is entertaining and yet calming to listen to. Short review, but definitely worth the $4!



2. I listened to this CD intending to buy it, but then noticed that the composer for each piece is listed as Johann Sebastian Bach. If that error is continued in the CD itself, it is a gross one. Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven, Tschaikovsky, etc., are represented in the CD. I certainly wouldn't buy it in order to mis-educate my grandson as to who wrote what.
   
   If the error is just in the online contents listing, someone should correct it immediately!



3. Perfect CD for my little baby. I love the song selections. It's perfect according to what music they should listen to for brain development.



4. Have enjoyed this CD immensely with our four-year old. Great price for the quality. Thank you.



5. My 12 month old loves this CD and happily bops away to the music (in the car he sometimes even starts singing!). We like it too and not being very well versed in Classical music, it is a nice mix for us.

1. It is easy to underestimate the quality of Andre Rie's orchestra; they are simply the most versatile orchestra in the world. What can't they do? And in his home town, they are masterful. You know it's umusual to find a group that is so joyful, so full of enthusiasm -- it just rubs off on you. Hooray for Andre!



2. This music-DVD is one of the best I have ever seen. André Rieu gives everything he and his orchestra have, not to forget the public.
   
   I wish he will record more DVD:s of this kind.

5. amazon you are my favorite people to work with. you really stand by your products. andre rieu is amazing and his music puts you in a very happy mood. even my son in law was facinated by him. my son in law was manager for a rock and roll band so that is an indication of andre rieu's music. my grandchildren, ages 7 and 4 were also facinated by his music and sat watching for at least an hour. this is a rare happening. i now own 3 of andre rieu's dvds and will be in the market for more.

2. Beethoven is my favorite composer. This is a good (but not great) collection, and all versions are good.



3. I found this to be a nice collection of favorites, especially to keep in the car and listen to. It is a variety of well known compilations. Although not encompassing, it is perfect as a review for driving, relaxing, and enjoyment. Plus, the price is right!

1. CHANT arrived in good condition ahead of the promised delivery date and for a bargain price. The singing is well done. However, I never recognized one selection of the ultra long list of chants that are a radical departure from Kyrie Eleison and Magnificat anima mea. I played it while in bed and drifted off to sleep even after being kinda disappointed in the selections. This is not saying YOU won't be transfixed and inspired by the rhythm, melodies, and selections chosen by the totally-dedicated monks.



2. This CD is very pretty. A nice CD to play around Easter time, which I did. The voices blend beautifully making it great for a meditation practice, massage, or even for yoga during asana time or even final relaxation.



3. Great CD, best music to study with, sleep with, or just relax. And it's Holy too! Great gift, very classic.



4. The CD was received on time and in excellent condition. I use the CD in the evenings to slow me down and get me in a relaxed mood.

1. This is my second Andre Rieu CD and I really enjoy both of them. They are peppy and energetic. You can tell he has a lot of fun directing the orchestra and they enjoy playing together.



2. I have watched Andre Rieu live from NY Radio City so many times and have totally enjoyed it each and every time. I purchased the DVD for some family and friends and they have also enjoyed it, they couldn't thank me enough for sending it to them.
   
   Andre Rieu did a show in Atlantic City, NJ a few months ago....I hope that will be on a DVD because I will definately order it.



3. Most videos of Andre Rieu were complete as suggested. This one video falls way short of content. About 30 minutes shy of the complete show.
   I would not purchase this video. Save your money.

5. The music selection is diversified with several different vocal groups. A very nice cd to listen to.
