5 comments about Classic Disney, Vol. 2.
- This CD is a wonderful collection of some 25(!) of the most beloved Disney hits. Indeed, the songs on this CD are all songs from the great Disney movies that you remember from your childhood. There's "The Bare Necessities" from The Jungle Book, "Supercalifragilisticexpialdocious" from Mary Poppins, and "So This Is Love" from Cinderella. What's also wonderful is that the hits are from all of the Disney greats like Beauty And The Beast, Aladdin, and The Little Mermaid.
My whole family loves these songs, and often sings along with them. I have several personal favorites from this album, including "So This Is Love" and "Candle On The Water." But, heck, I love them all!
So, what's the final verdict? Buy this CD you won't regret it!
- We bought this CD to practice my daughter's dance recital number to the "MICKY MOUSE CLUB MARCH"...however after listening to the whole thing over and over and over we are totally in love with classics like "THe Bear Neccessities" and "Supercalifragilistic (SP?)....we love the songs from all our favorite Disney movies, and this CD showcases a lot of them! :) A total bargain for variety music that is appropriate for children and families alike.
- I purchased this to keep my kids occupied on vacation, and it performed beautifully! I can recommend it fully.
- I have the classic disney volume 2 audio cassette which is very rare this is a great collection of music. It has a lot of very old peices in it. Disney Did a great job at cleaning them up. It even has a peice from song of the south which most people dont even know what that movie is. I would say yes to by this item on cd or cassette. I give it five stars. Their was only one or two songs i disliked.
- My kids and I love to pop this into the CD player when we are on road trips together. We sing along and have a great time.

- The CD arrived in good time and was of excellent quality for a used product.
- This CD is a wonderful collection of some 25(!) of the most beloved Disney hits. Indeed, the songs on this CD are all songs from the great Disney movies that you remember from your childhood. There's "Someday My Prince Will Come" from Snow White, "Colonel Hathi's March" from the Jungle Book, and "Chim Chim Cher-ee" from Mary Poppins. What's also wonderful is that the hits are from the great Disney movies right up to the present, with such songs as "Beauty and the Beast" from the movie of the same title.
My whole family loves these songs, and often sings along with them. As a wonderful bonus, we were not aware of "Minnie's Yoo Hoo!" which sounds like a 1920s, snappy little tune, and my children often play it twice and even three times in a row.
Buy this CD you won't regret it!

- I have all 5 CD's and it is an awesome collection! All of my favorite songs are on the 5 CD's and every Disney fan like I am should have this collection!
- There isn't one single song from the 1977 classic "The Rescuers" included in this collection, I don't see why Disney chose not to include any of those songs which are all gorgeous, when they did include unmemorable and weak songs instead, I've seen these CD's with songs that aren't half as good as "Tomorrow is Another Day," "The Journey," "Someone's Waiting for You" or "Rescue Aid Society."
Very disappointing, The Rescuers is a fine Disney classic and it should be included with all of the others.

5 comments about Aladdin.
- I was very excited to get this album since I lost my CD many years ago, but I was already saddened 30 seconds into the Arabian Nights song where he they censored out "where they cut off your ear if they don't like your face" with some lame "where it's flat and immense and the heat is intense" (wtf?) I should have read the reviews before buying, I would have hunted out the true original CD!
That's the takeaway folks: you get the beauty of the soundtrack in straight 256kbps MP3 format and instantly, but you will lose the true original soundtrack. Frankly if Amazon would refund me I'd happily buy the original CD at the same price.
- We purchased this item on March 21, 2008, we got a email saying that they had our payment had been rec'd. We didn't receive it until April 19th. It appears to be in good working order.
- It's amazing that we are willing to pay for certain songs and they don't want to sell to us unless we buy the entire album! Very interested in "Friend Like Me" but unable to purchase.Aladdin
- What a very entertaining and fun soundtrack! Robin Williams is the delightful Genie and his wit and humor definitely come out in the character. Children and adults will both enjoy the music.
- I have no idea why there is only one song showing on the catalog page. There are 21 songs on this CD. They are:
1. 1:20 Arabian Nights
2. 1:25 Legend of the Lamp
3. 2:23 One Jump Ahead
4. 1:53 Street Urchins
5. 1:02 One Jump Ahead (reprise)
6. 2:26 Friend Like Me
7. 1:39 To Be Free
8. 2:51 Prince Ali
9. 2:42 A Whole New World
10. 2:43 Jafar's Hour
11. 1:07 Prince Ali (reprise)
12. 1:35 The Ends of the Earth
13. 1:51 The Kiss
14. 2:56 On a Dark Night
15. 0:47 Jasmine Runs Away
16. 2:37 Marketplace
17. 4:58 The Cave of Wonders
18. 1:52 Aladdin's Word
19. 3:40 The Battle
20. 4:16 Happy End in Agrabah
21. 4:06 A Whole New World (Aladdin's Theme)

1 comments about Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles.
- From a musical standpoint, there don't seem to be very many original ideas in this soundtrack: If I didn't know any better, I'd swear Glasgow borrowed a lot from David Arnold, Joel Goldsmith, John Williams, and James Horner (among others). I suppose that if you're gonna borrow, you might as well borrow from the best!
Still, this is an entertaining score that does a lot to enhance what I felt was an otherwise mediocre film. I do like the choral elements, and the use of some nifty percussion. And yes, I did get goosebumps upon hearing the Ulpio Minucci's original Robotech theme in the opening titles!

5 comments about Rugrats in Paris: The Movie.
- This soundtrack brings back so many memories for me. Like when "Who Let the Dogs Out" became popular in middle school when I was in the fifth grade. I'll never forget that. Picture this: It's the last day of school, and as usual, they (the school) puts on an awards ceremony and slideshow to remember the previous (2000-2001) school year by. The awards have all been announced (like for those whom have completed their speech therepy goals, stuff like that) and now they are showing the slide show. Sure they play some "hits", but then the song "Who Let the Dogs Out" by the Baha Men comes on, and pretty much the whole school auditorium is singing along! But a few months before, Rugrats in Paris is shown at Strand Theatre here in Grafton, and once again, the song is a big hit. All the kids in the theater where the movie is showing is singing along. I should have put the movie story first because the song first became famous in our movie theater and then the awards day ceremony. It's been seven years since the CD came out, and I still listen to it to this day. I love all the songs that are on here, and I highly recommend this CD. Later.
- This CD has awesome pop-centered music. Kids will be sure to love it and those "young at heart" will, too. Angelica's song at the end is very good. Aaron Carter... eh, well [cringe]... it's a kids album so I guess you've got to expect him, right? Most of the songs fit the theme of the movie very well.
If you're a *huge* fan of both the movie and its music, try searching for the official import version of this CD, which has 14 tracks instead of 13 and includes Bardot's choir-esqe "Higher Than Heaven" - a nice closing pop track. Oh, how I wish she was on the US CD...
My fav tracks are 2, 5, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14.
- Pretty good album but the first Rugrats movie album was way better and I own both.
- This is the second CD I ever got. I havn't realy listened to it in a while sinse I got Jimmy Neutron, but I remember I liked it when i actually listened. I also got the movie, wich is really good. Goodbye.
- This is really good for dance routines and stuff.I'm like the organiser for the kids downstairs and right now we're doing a play and we're using half the songs here! If you're running a dance class or something all the songs here are really good.

- If you're a fan of the Japanese anime series Lupin the 3rd, then this compiliation of covers and remixes of the series theme is for you. My favorite is the version by The Ventures, since 1960 the #1 instrumental rock group in the world and still going strong in their 5th decade.
- Punch the Monkey 2 is one of my all-time favorite Japanese CD's. You can't go wrong with this one. There's a lot of cool mixes with some of the original sounds dubbed in. If you're a Lupin the 3rd fan, this is a must buy!
