1. I listened to an interview today discussing the development of "Strange Fruit," I had never heard of this song before and of its controversy until today. I listened to the lyrics and I got chills, I wept for the innocent black lives that were taken all due to ignorance and hate. "Strange Fruit" is a reminder of the atrocious acts commited by man and society, listen and you'll understand.

   There are many beautiful selections on this CD soundtrack both instrumental and vocal. The most beautiful songs are "Une Vie D'amour", "Etre" and another great song I have never heard before, "Et Pourtant." If you have never heard "Et Pourtant", this CD is for you. The version of ETRE of this CD is the best version that Charles Aznavour has done. What a voice! If you are a die hard Aznavour fan, you will love this CD as much as I do.
   
   I am close to wearing this out even though I have only had it two weeks.

1. As the previous reviewer mentioned, these discs seem to have been incorrectly labelled. I see that the track listings above are correct for Disc 1, the Irving Berlin disc -- however, the disc jacket shows 17 tracks. Only the first ten tracks are on the CD. The tracks listed above are the first 10.
   
   On Disc 2, the Cole Porter disc, the problem is similar. Only the first 10 of the 17 listed tracks are actually on the disc. Too bad, because I'd like a Nelson Eddy recording of "Rosalie" and a Bunny Berigan recording of "Let's Do It."



2. I don't know if the entire market of these CD's were incorrectly recorded at manufacture, I can only speak about the one I got. It's a shame because the set would probably otherwise be OK. It's a two-disk set and mostly the first listed titles of each disk were actually on the disks. (If this revue is found to be generally non-applicable it should be removed, but it was true for me.)
