- I have been listening to the lullaby CD with my 8 month old baby for several month now. The songs are very relaxing and I don't mind when I end up singing them in my head when I am at work.
- I purchased this CD in 2003 right before my daughter was born. I also purchased "Golden Slumbers: A fathers lullaby" which I also highly recommend. I was pregnant and the CD wasn't my favorite at first--largely because of Tina's voice. I would describe it as "sweet" and pretty, but perhaps plain. Like many others after my daughter was born and over the next couple of years it became her very favorite. Maybe it was the songs, (her favorite, "Dark Brown is the River") maybe it was the simplicity of the songs, who knows. The last couple of years the CD has gone missing. The other night my now 5-year old asked me to sing her lullabies and I started with some from this CD. I was so happy to see it still available and have reordered it. $6.25?! Wow. Cheap. I would now describe Tina's voice as pure and simple. We like it.
- When I was pregnant I purchased several lullaby CD's not knowing what my daughter would like. This is the one she LOVES! We keep it in the car and listen to it atleast once a day. It did take a few times for her to grow to love it, but now everytime it comes on she immediately calms down and often falls to sleep. If the CD ends, she fusses and I start it over again =)
The girl singing has a beautiful voice that's so easy to listen to. I often find myself singing along with her.
- I bought this lullaby collection based on the recommendations of other reviewers. I am not a fan of the singer's voice. It is way too high for my taste. My son doesn't seem to like it, either, and will not fall asleep to this CD. He prefers the Disney Lullaby Collection instead.
- [[ASIN:B0000033ZW Lullaby Favorites: Music for Little People
Although many children may like this CD, I think the title may be slightly misleading. I think adults may appreciate the traditional choices like "All through the Night" and "Summertime" more. Tina Malia's voice is awesome!

- Purchased this product for my grandchildren to listen to and hopefully learn the words to our nations songs.
- I think this disc was adorable... well worth the money.....my son who is 6 loves it!!
Thank you..
jojo
- This CD is fabulous, and it's so great to hear my young kids learning the patriotic songs that helped build this country and make it great. Many schools don't teach these songs anymore, which is a darned shame. But the kids love it and will learn to love their country for it. Thank you, St. John's Children's Choir!
- My 3 year old daughter absolutly LOVES this CD. She has memorized all the songs and just has a great time listening to it in her room. It puts a good feeling in our home with this music on. My 5 month old daughter loves it, too!
- If you are even browsing for a childrens/adult friendly CD with traditional songs about America, buy this CD. Almost every song brought back memories of myself in elementary school during the bicentennial. My 2, 4 and 6 years old all love it and ask to play it all the time. Be warned, however, after listening to it for 2 hours straight in the car, parents may tire of even the best songs.

- mi nieto a disfrutado mucho este dvd y a aprendido mucho le encanta el tiene 2 anos y vale la pena tenerlo
- I dont have much to say about this its good for its price
- This cd is full of great songs and resources! I was very pleased with it.
- I myself have not listened to the music but i bought all the bible music for my 2 oldest grandsons...they told me they like it..you know boys, not as verbal as girls. The shipment arrived on time infact earlier than expected.
- Excellent arrangements and excellent song choices on the CDs. Every Christian parent should have a few of the Cedarmont Kids CDs in their collection in my opinion. These are affordable and simply some of the very best of what is currently available.

5 comments about Disney Karaoke, Volume 1.
- My seven-year-old loves this CD. The recordings aren't the originals, but the quality is good. Little ones won't perfect these challenging songs, but they'll sing their hearts out.
- I bought this plus volume 2 for my daughter's new karaoke machine. We were very disappointed that the words were not on the screen. They love the disney songs and we will use it in the car but not for the karaoke.
- This CD is WILL NOT show lyrics on a karaoke screen. It is great if all you want is music. We bought it for a birthday party for my daughter in which karaoke was the main attraction. This CD has a booklet of tiny words with the lyricsDisney Karaoke, Volume 1. It WILL NOT show up on a karaoke screen. VERY disappointing.
- Well, I must have been tired of searching titles when I decided to purchase this one. Didn't look at the reviews carefully b/c now I see all the warnings. This is just a CD (NOT a CD+G) & I don't know how Disney markets/titles it as a kaorake anything. Half the songs are songs w/singers and half are instrumental (hence the kaorake I guess). But there are no graphics on the screen. Apparently you must look for the logo on the cover that says it has on-screen graphics or else they're not included. If it's not there, it's just a CD (despite the title). We already had a lot of the songs and I only wanted the graphics. This CD was too inexpensive to return. Annoyed...
- The product is good but these are NOT CD + G so the lyrics will not show up on the viewing screen of your Karaoke machine,

- This CD mostly delivered what was expected of it. The only critique I have is that some of the tempos could have been cleaner, and that it should be cross-referenced by the other composers besides J. S. Bach.
- This is the most wonderful collection to have on 1 CD. Children from birth on up can benefit from this musical collage.
Songs from the "Nutcracker" are familiar and comfortable for many children. What child wouldn't love "March of the Tin Soldiers?"
Selections from Saint-Saens' "Carnival of the Animals" is a must in my creative movement library. Every child should be exposed to this music. Well,I believe every age should be.
- With total playing time clocking in at 78:04 minutes of music, you'll be paying about 6-cents/minute, which is a better bargain than long distance phone calls, and often more rewarding!
This disc is far superior than most other "Classics for Kids"-type recordings I've sampled for a number of reasons: 1) This album was expertly engineered. The production quality on this disc is first-rate from start to finish with crisp, clear sound. 2) The pieces were expertly picked. There is wonderful sonic variety here, spanning hundreds of years of wonderful melodies. There are orchestral pieces, harpsichord pieces, solo piano, and a piano concerto, capped off with Saint-Seans whimsical Carnival of the Animals. What kid (or adult) wouldn't love that? 3) The performances are, without exeption, expert! The pieces were definately screened for quality as well as content. Many are simply a joy to behold. Walter Klein is a particular stand-out, almost giddily prancing through Schumann's pieces. Believe it or not, he sounds even more impressive when backed up by the always inspiring Minnesota Orchestra on Mozart's Piano Concerto #17. In short, this album is a great album even before you factor in the great price. You and your children are almost guaranteed to enjoy every 6-cents worth!

- I bought this CD for my 3 yr old nephew. It is the CD that he asks for every time he gets in the car now.
- My son and I enjoy listening to this CD several times during the day. Love the different styles to each song.
- My son LOVES this CD, along with Toddler Favorites, also by Music for Little People. Every single time we get into the car, he wants to listen to "Twinkle" (what he calls both of the CD's). I think it's a pretty enjoyable listen, and I don't really mind hearing it over and over and over...The tunes are quite catchy. I especially like the tone of boy(?)'s voice who sings "London Bridge is Falling Down", "Old Roger", and a few others. At first I thought it was a female singing, but there is a certain quality to the singer's voice that convinced me it was a pre-pubescent boy. Good choice.
- My daughter loves this CD. Almost every song is a pleaser and has her saying "more, more." It's a little sing-songy but well worth it.
- I stumbled upon this CD in our local library for my 2 going on 3 year old daughter. She immediately fell in love with this CD! And I was not annoyed by the grown up singers or the children. (let's face it, most children's CDs can grate your nerves after a while). We took it with us for a road trip and she listened to it on her big brother's CD player. Talk about a quiet ride!! Who needs a DVD player in the truck?! We also used it as the background music at her third birthday party. It was a bonafide hit! All the kids loved it and all the mothers kept asking, "Where did you get this CD? It's great!" I'm buying two copies!

2 comments about The Mozart Effect: Music for Newborns - A Bright Beginning.
- This cd is a great way to introduce your baby to Mozart. My son loves it.
- I prefer the slow songs, they seems to be a better fit for my baby. I also bought The Mozart Effect: Music For Babies: Nighty Night which I like a lot. The performances are well played by talented musicians. (I have a degree from Peabody so that's a true compliment)

5 comments about Baby Einstein: Playtime Music Box.
- This one is only O.K. Gives me a headache but the babies seem to like it.
- This is music for babies, or for children, the people at Baby Einstein understand that little ears have trouble discerning multiple sounds. If you had wanted a classical music CD those are already available. But your baby needs a simple CD with only 1 or 2 instruments. It's not about whether YOU like the CD, but whether your child likes it.
- This CD is a must-have for our little Baby Einstein fans! My son loves this CD! From the moment when I played it the first time, a few months ago, he still loves to dance to this. I find it's great to put on while he's playing with his toys, instead of turning on a DVD or the TV, and he'll play much longer and happier.
- I put all my baby's toys on the floor and turn on the cd player and she gets veeery excited with this music! Excellent! Get the "Traveling with the Baby" as well cause it's very soothing in the car.
- This is by far the best CD in the Baby Einstein collection--it will put your toddler in hyperactive playful mode and exhaust you as you try to keep up. But for today's overweight, tv- and game- addicted children, this is great!

5 comments about The Mozart Effect Music for Children, Volume 2: Relax, Daydream, & Draw.
- This cd has helped my ADD daughter to concentrate fully on her studies, we are home schoolers
- I was not disappointed when I played this CD for the first time. The music is really compatible with relaxing, daydreaming and drawing. My kids enjoy listening to it and I do to.
- I used this CD while elementary students were taking a test. They loved it and so did I. The selections were chosen carefully to be soothing and uplifting. This CD is an excellent way to introduce anyone of any age to Mozart. It can be played in the background while you are working. I listen to it in my counseling office.
- My seven year old is quickly progressing at piano and is playing simple pieces of Bach. She had previously only appreciated Bach (with a Bach children's tape) but now is true to Mozart. Plays every morning on our way to school--what a way to start the day!
- I play this music for my art classes. I teach Kindergarten through 6th grade art at an elementary school in Connecticut. All classes respond to this music. It seems to be calming and helps them to focus on their art work. I explain that the music will make them more creative. One third grade boy said "This really works."

- I like the music and variety of selections. I wish it had more selections.
- This is a pretty run of the mill clasical music CD. The first track sounded a little rough to me (sounded like harmonica and recorder -- I was not overly impressed) but the other tracks seem more par for the course.
- Children will I am sure like the simplified rhythms and cute arrangements, especially the Cambridge Buskers playing Nachtmusik on a penny whistle. However, the producers apparently dubbed the CD from poor quality recordings (phonograph records?)with pops and clicks, without editing out the feeps and farps. So the audio quality is less than you'd get from a ... remainder rack.
- I am a music teach for young children and I don't believe simply listening to music will make children smarter. However, this is wonderful music that relaxes my children and seems to help them concentrate. If they can concentrate better, they probably will learn better in the end.
