5 comments about A Bride's Guide to Wedding Music.
- This CD sounds wonderful and I'll probably buy it just for the music. When my husband and I got married 23 years ago, I didn't want the "typical" wedding music. I bought an album with different songs, but it wasn't as extensive as this CD. The music we picked for walking back down the aisle after the ceremony was Beethoven's Ode to Joy. It was beautiful. Two couples who married later that year also used Ode to Joy. It was a nice compliment.
- Being a sound tech at my church this CD comes is great for anything that may come along. I've had weddings where the couple didn't even have any music picked out and I can use this CD for everything. It's in my Ipod so I have all 3 discs available to fill in any music that I would need.
- I recently re-purchased this item, since I lost the first copy I had - oops! But, I was happy to buy it again once I saw the pretty new packaging! This new version has a little booklet that gives wedding planning tips and has a nice package for the discs too!
- I had ordered this cd on the recommendation of the musical director from my Church who has quite an extensive international background. I mistakenly thought I would just use it to pick out songs for the ceremony portion of my wedding. It turns out it has so many classical songs from Bach and many other artists. I listen to it often because the music is so beautiful.
I recommend it to anyone who likes classical music or would like a sampler of some of the great composers and artists. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
- I bought this cd set for our wedding. It is wonderful because it is broken into 3 cds. The 1st cd has songs for the prelude, the 2nd cd has songs for the processional and interlude, the 3rd has songs for the recessional and postlude. It was perfect. We chose Pachabel's Canon in D for our Processional and Offenbach's Barcarolle for our Recessional. You will love this cd set.

- Overall an excellent collection of classical favorites and for $3.99 its a steal, but strangely there is not a single Beethoven composition in the CD.
- This turned out to be the right pace and type of classical music that I was looking for. (I like and appreciate classical music but can't stand, nor understand, a lonesome violin screeching away for 55 minutes).
I think this set is a great gift and/or as an introduction to classical music especially to younger audiences.
As for the sound quality - it sounds like...well..a regular "Digital Audio" CD. Nothing to write home about. Its not the audiophool quality recording you might be looking for. Some tracks are recorded better than others. But if you think MP3 sounds freakin' awesome, don't worry about what I said about sound quality.
- The CD was well represented by the clips on the Amazon website and came in time for our event. We did have a problem with the charge but that was taken care of promptly. Great service.
- It is an excellent collection of classical music. I would recommend this CD if you have a friend who don't like classical music, since it has the most beautiful overtures and portions of famous artists. If you are a Classic Music Savvy you probably will not be impressed by it, unless you want to play the CD as background music in a friends gathering.
- All the best composers! Over an hour of music. A samble of the greatest pieces.

5 comments about Baby Einstein: Lullaby Classics, Vol. 2.
- This is great CD. We love Vol. 1 but it was getting a little over played so we bought Vol. 2. It's THE best thing for a car ride. Especially with a fussy baby who hates cars.
- My son had a rough time giving up his musical mobile. He needed the music to help him calm down as he was falling asleep.
In a moment of desperation, I purchased both this CD and volume 1 of the Lullaby Classics.
When I played the CD I was pleasantly surprised, that the music on the CD was very calming. I also know most of the songs which made it more enjoyable. I even enjoy hearing it on the baby monitor when my son was trying to fall asleep.
- This is a very nice cd to have home, it's the best way of introducing music to your baby. Amazing composers, great selection and the instruments used, made it easy for "little ears". It's a calming, sweet way of putting your baby to bed. Everytime I have time I turn it on and give a full body massage in my daughter... we both love it.
- These are so good for the young kids in your family!!! I love all their products
- I bought both of the Lullaby Classics. Sometimes I put them on during the day when my son is playing, it keeps him from becoming too hyper in the house and gives him a feeling of contentment. I also like the mood it gets him in before bedtime. He also loves the Barney cd's for more interactive, upbeat music. Music is really so important for children when they are small. You can see the difference it makes right away.

5 comments about The Chopin Collection.
- These impressions are based on very limited listening thus far but the performances seem to be very crisp and correct and devoid of schmaltz which surprised me. I think Chopin needs a bit more melodrama to be at its best.
- The ultimate way to apreciate the work of Chopin. powerful then again delicate. Sublime piano by Rubinstein. Curacao, apri1 14th 2008
- In an age when there were few exceptional pianists, Rubinstein came to maturity after his marriage and 40th birthday - and fortunately his best work was recorded by RCA in America. Here's the Chopin you must have in a collection. Still brilliant by today's standards and still the Master. The Chopin Collection
- This is the collection for the ages. It has the best repertoire I had ever wished, and the quality of sound is excellent, knowing that the recordings were made in the 55's-65's period. I am fully satisfied with this product, for Rubinstein's interpretations are superb and the reference for all the pianists and audiences in general: They are emotive, harmonic, delicate and masterful. --USEFUL--: The last disc is Mono (recorded 1946), so it has poor quality sound. The disc is the one of the Préludes Op. 28, and as an annex it contains the repeated and older recordings of the Barcarole Op. 60, the Berceuse Op. 57, and the Sonata Op. 35 (these pieces come in the Stereo discs too; i.e. repeated recordings). I do not miss the Préludes, so for me it is OK. Also this collection does not have the Études Op. 10 or the Op. 25. So if you want the Préludes and the Études to be in your colection, think buying this product twice. But if you do not care that much, buy it.
- As mentioned by other reviewers - Rubinstein was the best interpreter of Chopin. Period. Even for the non-trained, amateur ear - other performers just do not sound as the grand maestro. Chopin obviously needs a professional in order to be fully enjoyed.
I find it amusing and even ironic that the best Chopin interpreter - Rubinstein - was a Jew, while the composer was known to have some anti-semitic tendencies...
The only problem with this collection is that it contains several less than perfect recordings. But then the performance is so good that one may forgive this minor inconvenience. And to be honest the majority of the CDs are excellent.
Very melodic, extremly romantic, perfectly performed and almost an excellent recording. GREAT BUY !

5 comments about The Most Soothing Lullabies In The Universe.
- This is a nice CD full of classics. Not all of the tracks will lull baby to sleep (try Mozart for Mothers-to-be), but, for the price, it's well worth adding to your collection.
- very soothing for the unborn baby (decreases in-utero kicking) and the newborn baby (increases between-feedings time at night). highly recommended for any newly minted parents out there.
- These lullabies are infact very soothing. I have filled an MP3 player for my princess w/ lullabies, classical music and the Nutcracker and it helps w/ keeping her asleep all night by shadowing all other noises in the house until morning. I would recomend anyone to get this cd not only for a small child but for anyone who has trouble sleeping. These beautiful classical mastepieces help anyone fall peacefully asleep*
- A double CD with 20 really soothing classics played by real orchestras. Music not only for the unborn baby or child but but to relax mom and dad as well. Beautiful pieces!
- This is a lovely CD for everyone. It is sincerely mellow with few exceptions and makes a soothing sound for the car (especially for long car rides). On the first of 2 cd's, the set up is a little odd. The first 2 songs are mellow and relaxing (just enough to help put a baby to sleep) then the 3rd song comes on like a thunderbolt and will wake the child if your not careful.

5 comments about UltraSound - Music for the Unborn Child.
- This product is wonderful and i would recommend it to anybody who is expecting a baby. It can be used also later on when the baby is born of course so it is a never-ending beautiful piece of music.
- I absolutely loved this product!! And my baby girl did too!! As soon as I put on a song with my fetal earphones she bounced around and kicked up a storm. It was very soothing for me as well, when I couldn't sleep at night or just relaxing in general. If you love classical music this is one CD worth buying.
thanks Natalie
- Superb music selection and not just for the unborn baby but for mom and dad as well. Real orchestra playing very relaxing classics! Even though it was my baby's first gift... because he is still in the womb, I took advantage and often listen to the CD myself!
- While this CD is a nice idea, it isn't really that enjoyable! The reproductions of the featured classical pieces sound more like elevator music and have become annoying to me. I have searched for music that I can play for baby while I am pregnant and continue to play after she is born. I guess my advice is not to buy something that YOU can't enjoy also, because you'll be hearing it a lot!
- I purchased this product for my expectant daughter, and she says that it is the best gift she has ever received. She, herself, finds the music very soothing and relaxing, and she is certain that it is wonderful for her child.

5 comments about Classical Music for Children: A Toddler's Introduction to Classical Music.
- We bought this to use in the church nursery. It is entertaining and yet calming to listen to. Short review, but definitely worth the $4!
- I listened to this CD intending to buy it, but then noticed that the composer for each piece is listed as Johann Sebastian Bach. If that error is continued in the CD itself, it is a gross one. Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven, Tschaikovsky, etc., are represented in the CD. I certainly wouldn't buy it in order to mis-educate my grandson as to who wrote what.
If the error is just in the online contents listing, someone should correct it immediately!
- Perfect CD for my little baby. I love the song selections. It's perfect according to what music they should listen to for brain development.
- Have enjoyed this CD immensely with our four-year old. Great price for the quality. Thank you.
- My 12 month old loves this CD and happily bops away to the music (in the car he sometimes even starts singing!). We like it too and not being very well versed in Classical music, it is a nice mix for us.

5 comments about Chopin: Favorite Piano Works.
- This is a masterful performance by the great Vladimir Ashkenazy of Chopin's favourite piano works. If you love Chopin's music and Ashkenazy's magic touch, this 2-disc CD is a must. Apart from all the all-time favourites such as grande valse brillante, op 18, nocturne in E flat major, op 9 no 2, Minute, Black Key, Military, Raindrop, Tristesse etc etc, it's interesting to note Ashkenazy's interpretation of Ballade in G minor, op 23 vis-a-vis Janusz Olejniczak playing it in the poignant scene of the award-winning Polanski's film "The Pianist" ie the piece played by Adrien Brody in his role as Szpilman, the Jewish pianist in hiding, to the German officer Hosenfeld. Enjoy!!
- This is a very good interpretation of Chopin's piano opi, without a doubt. It has the first spot in my CD player, as I listen to it almost daily. This would make a great gift for the piano-lover and as a pianist, I greatly appreciate this interpretation.
- Ashkenazy is one of the titans of Chopin. Davidovich and Arrau are the other two. They're all you need. Get Davidovich for the concertos, (inlcuding the Krakowiak--Op 14), Arrau for the nocturnes and a few micscellaneous pieces. Ashkenazy handles everything else.
(Btw, Ashkenazy vs. Davidovich re. the impromptus is a toss up. But since the impromptus aren't on this disc, you can make that critical decision another time.)
Ashkenazy's scherzo #2 (op. 31) IS the best. Period. Other interpretations that your favorite classical music station may substitute are downright lame.
The rest are basically sublime. The first and 4th ballades will send shivers up your spine by Vlad's sheer technical ability. His artistry is second to none.
- An excellent complilation of Chopin works which includes 3 of the pieces I am currently learning. Definitely has encouraged me to improve my piano skills and allow me to better appreciate his style of music.
- Beautifully done 2 CD of Chopin works. I've played it every weekend since I got it, loving every track. It's well performed and recorded, and is an excellent collection for anyone interested in Chopin or his adopted homeland of Poland. And, of course, you can't often go wrong with the London Label.

- This is exactly what I wanted and I rec'd it very fast turnaround. Thanks you!
- Beethoven is my favorite composer. This is a good (but not great) collection, and all versions are good.
- I found this to be a nice collection of favorites, especially to keep in the car and listen to. It is a variety of well known compilations. Although not encompassing, it is perfect as a review for driving, relaxing, and enjoyment. Plus, the price is right!
- Very good! I ordered it especially for Piano Sonata No. 8 Pathetique
- Good overview of his works----an introduction into his depth as a composer

5 comments about Essential Mozart: 32 Of His Greatest Masterpieces.
- I am not much into classical music.. Read about Mozart and wanted to make sure I listen to one of the all time classics.
Though I may not be qualified enough to review a classic, On a whole it was a pleasant experience for me and a good add on to my car, especially when alone.. The quality of the CD content was good too..!!
4/5
- Very talented composer! I like Mozart! It would be nicer if the CD had more on Marriage of Figaro. I love opera!
- I bought this thinking it would be a great selection of his works. I only recognize a few songs - I wanted to recognize them all. I wouldn't buy it again if I had the chance.
- The music is Mozart's and is fantastic. The last piece on the first disc
stutters halfway through, and seizes up my system. I don't have time to return items to Amazon. On the positive side, most of the time Amazon provides quality products and service. I gave 3 stars because I love the music.
- this is a great collection of his work... the only problem i have found so far is that my copy has irritating "clicks" over the recording.
