1. This cd is great because unlike other classical music cds made for babies, this one even adults can enjoy. Sometimes they change the song so that it sounds more like something a baby will appeal too, but this one just keeps the original song format which means even people without babies would be able to enjoy some of Mozart's classics.



2. This is a fantastic CD of beautiful music. It is uplifting and soothing at the same time. I have several good classic music compilations CDs, but this is my favorite and the one that gets played daily! When the littlest one is napping, it goes on. When I'm cooking, it goes on. When we have the TV off and the kids are playing games or making puzzles, it is on! It stays in my kitchen CD player so at a touch of a button, lovely music can fill the house.
   
   Check out the samples above (my [...] especially likes #5, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star). It is not "children's music," a disc of lullabies, or something to reserve for baby shower gifts. I cannot say enough good things about this disc! This is great music that makes you feel good - if it is building our brains too, all the better! Try it and enjoy :)



3. I am a true fan of Classical music and this was purchased as a gift for a co-worker who is adopting a child from China. Therefore I did not open it nor listen to it. The recipient is now overseas picking up their daughter so I know they haven't had the opportunity to listen to it. I think it's a great idea, though.

1. Though some of these songs were new to us, all were great, fun songs of the same high quality we've come to expect from Veggie Tale products.



2. What better way to have fun and sing praise then with 2 vegetables!



3. My 2 year old loves the veggietales. We let her watch one show a day-and she asks for particular songs ALLLLLL of the time. She loves this CD! The only drawback of the Cd is it seems short-and after repetitively listening to it over and over-I'm beginning to get sick of it. But, my daughter still loves it-so play it we will.



4. My preschool-aged children and I love this CD. We listen to it every day in the car. As each song starts, one of my kids shouts "This is my favorite!" (They have lots of favorites.) The songs are so catchy that my kids sing the songs when the CD isn't even on. Larry's silly songs are hilarious -- the water buffalo song and the hairbrush song.

   I do wonder how the presumably adult singers get their voices to sound like that. Each singing character has perfect intonation for what they're trying to convey -- from the mean wise men who got Daniel in trouble to Junior Asparagus who asks "Why do you need a hairbrush? You don't have any hair."

   Let me put it this way: I'm 36 years old, and I find myself smiling and singing along. It's a hoot!




5. My children received this CD as a Hanukkah gift. What a wonderful gift it was! They love the music with it's catchy tunes and sometimes hilarious lyrics and I love the message that it sends. I originally thought that Veggie Tales was not appropriate for my family since we are Jewish and Veggie Tales are Christian-based. I now realize I was wrong. Yes, they are based on Christianity and some videos may mention Jesus, but the basic message is one about being a good person and respecting God's word. There is nothing on this CD which is specifically Christian, just Judeo-Christian in the sense that there is one God.

   Who can resist such Monty Python-ish tunes as "Where's My Hairbrush" in which the cucumber is distressed about his missing hairbrush only to find out that it was given to the peach because, well because he HAS hair. And "We are the Grapes of Wrath" (who never take a bath) is one of my personal favorites. My kids (ages 2 & 4.5) really love tracks 4-8 about Daniel in the Lion's Den. My 4-year-old makes up verses about what's going to happen to Daniel.

   Any child and parent would be pleased with this CD unless they are atheists or believe in more than one God.

1. My 2 year old daughter received this for this past Christmas, as she LOVED the original Veggie Tunes. Another hit has been found. We listen to Veggie Tales almost everywhere: car, home... Wherever we are, nearly all of the time. She just loves them and this CD helps keep her happy. She has even begun reciting large chunks of some of the songs-and asks for particular ones again and again. I recommend this to any fan of VeggieTales.



2. This CD has great songs from several episodes of the Veggie-Tales series. My one complaint is that the actual "Bunny Song" was not included (so what if it's evil? They have Mr. Lunt's song in the third collection).



3. We are Jewish, but I still love this album. There is no mention of Jesus or Christianity, it's just good clean fun. The only thing that made me slightly uncomfortable was a theme in one song of "if you believe G*d will protect you" Great music, funny for adults & kids.



4. If you or your children are VeggieTales fans you'll enjoy this collection of some of the VeggieTales' classic songs.

   It includes the VeggieTales theme song as well as such memorable Silly Songs as "I Love My Lips", "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything", "The Song of the Cebu", and "The Dance of the Cucumber."

   In addition, it features songs from "Josh and the Big Wall," "Larry-Boy", and "Rack, Shack and Benny" such as the beautiful Broadway-like "Think of Me" lullaby.

   This is a great CD for listening to in the van on car trips. Not only will your children be singing along, but you'll find yourself singing and laughing as well.




5. My niece is a huge fan of the Veggietales. I have to admit that I like them too. Veggietales are educational and fun. Bob the tomato and Larry the Cucumber have such a way of teaching kids the Bible stories. The songs are too cute. One of my favorite songs is The song of Cebu. Veggietales are something that the whole family can enjoy.

1. This is so much fun, we put it on and the kids dance and sing, and sometimes mom joins in. The songs are easy for my 6 yr.old twins to sing along with and mom and dad get all nostalgic. Buy and enjoy.



2. I bought this CD because it had the song,"Old Time Rock and Roll" on it. Seven of my grandchildren (ages 2,3,4,4,6,6,and 10,both boys and girls)love this music. We have our own dance party, especially when they are here at the same time!"Shake Your Booty" is everyone's favorite now, with "Crocodile Rock" close.It's great fun for all of us children and their parents tolerate it pretty well.

1. the chipmunks at christmas has been a tradition for my children, now my grandchildren.....they love it....grandkids and parents alike!

1. got this to get even with my daughter. hopefully my granddaughter wants to listen to it as often as my daughter did when she was little. i still remember most of the songs!



2. I loved this movie when I was a kid, now it's my daughter's favorite! Timeless, sweet songs.



3. I grew up with this movie and hearing the songs brought back the awesome childhood memories. "One little star" and "I'm so blue" brought tears to my eyes. "Upside down world" on the other hand cracked me up. I didn't think about it much when I was little, but when Ernie and Bert flew that airplane upside down I don't think they realized that they were asking for certain death. lol
   
   The only downside is there are monologues for a lot of the songs and I'm not really into that kind of thing. Plus the "One Little Star" song starts one minute into the track.



4. I may be 18 now but I grew up on this movie and the soundtrack is a great addition to any cd library



5. You don't have to be five years old to enjoy this kind of music. This CD appeals to every person of any age. Kids and adults alike will get a kick out of listening to this amazing soundtrack from the equally amazing movie. Every song is perfectly appropriate, and you'll be happy to know that none of these songs are too babyish either.
   
   Probably the best song on the whole soundtrack is "Easy Goin' Day". Very catchy tune, with catchy and yet squeaky-clean lyrics. Not every song on the soundtrack is happy, though. The song "I'm So Blue" is enough to make anybody want to cry. Altogether, the CD has just the right balance of happiness and sorrow.
   
   Make sure you check this CD out sometime. You'll be glad you did.

1. My Son loves this CD. I know because he asks me to put it on everytime we get into the car. Luckily, I like it too. It's so cute, and not irritating at all. And the songs are really catchy so you'll be singing along with your kids.



2. My kids love this CD. I think we've almost worn it out because they've listened to it so much!



3. My daughter loves to listent to it while walking on the treadmill. It keeps her happy and occupied. Not ALL music can do that!



4. My kids love to dance and sing to these songs wearing cowboy hats and guitars. It makes them feel like they are part of Woody's Gang themselves.

1. You know it is good when the children listening know the words and sing along without you prompting them to.



2. My son loves this CD, but his father and I love it even more. Even the songs you thought you knew, they've added their own twists to - it's a lot of fun.

1. My class has enjoyed moving to the songs on this cd. Thank you for making it possible to replace this cd after I lost it.



2. I've had a home day care for ten years, teen ministry for ten years and been a mom for 19 years. I still play this cd in day care once a week! The kids absolutely love it, and I'm not sick of it. I think that says a lot. I've used it over the years at girl scout game days, toddler play dates, Young Life clubs, you name it. Other leaders have borrowed it, and I like it well enough that I still have it around after all these years.



3. I bought this for my 3-year-old who loves to do the hokey pokey and the chicken dance. I was really disappointed with the hokey pokey. It is VERY fast and hard to keep up with. I was looking for a CD with the songs you dance to at weddings. The other songs aren't catching for a 3-year-old. I did like the name game. It has a fun beat and my kids love dancing around the house to it.
