1. I ordered this item back in December 2006 and Amazon just keep on delaying the shipping date.
   I'm not sure why Amazon doesnt just take this item off the catalog.
   They just dont have this and does not seem like they can get a copy of it.
   So do not order this item from Amazon, you will be waiting forever.
   
   Amazon, just say you dont have it and can't get it and stop sending email notices to delay shipping and asking for my approval.



2. These cds are delightfully narrated by children and several well known Christian artists. They are interesting enough to capture children's attention, but sophisticated enough so that the parents can tolerate listening to them in their entirity. They include many of the best known Bible stories, along with corresponding songs. They are Biblically accurate. Our children are thrilled with them.

1. Tradition in our family (as I am sure in most families)is to read "The Night Before Christmas" every Christmas Eve. A Few years ago I was given this Rabbit Ears production for Christmas on Tape. I was blown away by it. Now instead of reading it we put the tape on and listen to Meryl Streep's beautiful rendition. The music that follows is full of something for everyone. All the songs are classic Christmas carols but some are done modern and some sound more traditional. This is my favorite Christmas Recording and every year I can't wait to listen to it again and again. I have been looking for it for years on CD as my tape is worn out and was so glad to find it on Amazon. I had to buy it from a Market Place Seller but it was the best experience because it arrived in Canada only 7 days after shipping and didn't cost me a fortune either. Thanks Amazon.



2. The first track is Meryl Streep reading Clement C. Moore's classic story--not too bad, but, although I think Meryl Streep is one of the best actresses ever, I didn't like her take on the poem--a matter of taste I guess.
   The remaining tracks are songs performed alternately by her and other musicians. Meryl is an OK singer, not tremendous. The other tracks are an odd mix of very traditional (Christ Church Cathedral Choir, Oxford--wonderful!) to modern, gospel-jazzy (Edwin Hawkins Singers--I'll pass) and country-classical (Mark O'Connor and others, think "Appalachian Journey"--very nice).
   Why did Rabbit Ears/Madacy Kids! go to all trouble to produce this CD, and even point out that the "UV22 Process" was used because it "retains all the detail of the high-resolution source, preserving the soundstage and tonal balance of the original" when it's in mono?
   I mainly didn't like the grouping of styles, and the obvious attempt to stretch a five-minute story into a full-length CD. I think there are tons of better Christmas choices out there. But maybe your kids wouldn't be so picky!

1. When I got my CD I played it right away. I bought it for my class I was going to be teaching since they are the perfect age for it and they loved it. I will let everyone know thatthis is the best CD to buy if you have little children, teach school, or just want to inspire your faith. These are songs I heard and knew when I was little and I am very excited to finally have them all on CD. So what are you waiting for??? BUY THIS CD!!!



2. We bought this CD for our 5 year old and she loves it! It has a great selection of bible songs that teach and entertain at the same time. And kids love to dance to this stuff! And best of all it is tolerable for adult ears, even long car rides. But with the choice of three different CD's you can pick the mode of music you want. We highly recommend this for any religious family, or a family new to the Bible for teaching their child about Christianity, good manners, and Bible beliefs!

1. I've got all 3 of the other CDs in this series and they're all great. My toddler really responds to the other children's voices and wants to hear it all the time. He just can't get enough!



2. The previous three Toddlers Sing cds are excellent. My grandkids enjoy them all the time. This Rock and Roll cd just does't do it! Music is too loud - none of the joy and excitement of the previous Toddlers Sing cds. A real disappointment.

1. I've used this CD for several years for choir, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, puppet programs and just for fun. IT IS WONDERFUL! The songs are so classic! It has great quality voices and music. You must have this in your music library if you work with kids! My favorite song? I Just Wanna Be A Sheep (Baa Baa Baa Baa!)



2. Bob Singleton, Grammy-nominee for producing Barney's Greatest Hits, Volume 1, (sold 2 million copies), has taken that great sound with that same wonderful kids' vocal talent and produced an entire series of "Great Songs for God's Kids" albums. This is the first in the series, and it is comprised of a wonderful mix of praise songs, scripture songs and popular hymns. The music is in kid-friendly ranges, so my little one loves to sing along. Also, it's in a split-track format, so the "performers" in any family can "turn off" the kids' voices and sing along with instrumentals-only. This option also makes it a great tool for VBS, Sunday School and kids' clubs when you don't have a live musician handy. Great stuff!

1. My son loves to watch the Baby Genius nursery songs on comcast on demand so I assumed that the cd would be great too! Nope. Big disappointment.

1. I'm not sure if I like this one more than my daughter or not. I highly recommend this out of all of the "Baby Genius" music product. It's very relaxing, and seems to do it's job. It's an excellant selection of music to soothe at all the right times.



2. This CD has become a bedtime and naptime ritual for our son, age 3. We have had it for about one year and he requests it by name as a preference for helping him go to sleep. He has also become interested in this "Beethoven guy" and makes some associations between Beethoven, Bach and Mozart as being humans beings and guys who write music. As for increasing his intelligence as suggested on the CD, well, who knows, but it is definitely an improvement over the "kiddie" music we first introduced and which he completely rejected. It is a very pleasant, well-engineered and performed recording.

1. This is timeless, excellent music with international flair. What a great way to learn the 10 Commandments, the staple of how to treat our neighbors. My only scruple is the line "Angels are honest, that's why they can fly," but--Get it for your family!

1. As a parent you have to depend on other people to help you decide what is good to expose your child to. Unfortunately, the Baby Einstein company is not exposing your child to good music! It is performed by a synthesizer and while some of the songs are played well, many are not.

   Their choice of the music to include IS wonderful. They are great works, but they are performed poorly. If you wish to show your child good music DO NOT BUY these CD's! Purchase the songs that are contained on these CD's performed by real musicians, not a computer or synthesizer.




2. We were given this CD as a new baby gift from my boss. It was a hit with my newborn son, that was unfortunately blessed with colic. When he gets upset and is inconsolable with walking, rocking, hugging, and other techniques, we have found this CD to help him relax and fall asleep.



3. I have already had one of these CD's and we all love it.I have two Grandchildren arriving soon,so I am ordering another.I feel this will be a good stimulant for a baby. We have not been a fan of classical music but this has been a hit.



4. I played this for my grandson when he was only 6 weeks old and it captured his attention. Now that he is 4 months he watches the entire video (~30 minutes) laughs at parts, makes waving hand gestures or just intently watches it. The music is very good, colors and pictures change often to hold his attention without getting bored. I enjoy watching him watch the video.
