5 comments about 'Til Their Eyes Shine (The Lullaby Album).

  1. Received the merchandise quickly! A friend suggested this cd as one of her favorites that she received when her baby was born. It was a big hit with my friend as well!

  2. The moaning, whiney songs on this CD are enough to give even the most cheerful baby the blues. If you enjoy torchy folk songs, this is your CD. If you were looking for modern, but gentle music to ease your baby to sleep at the end of the day - look elsewhere. I love the Kenny Loggins Return to Pooh Corner and More Songs from Pooh Corner, Linda Rondstadt: Dedicated to the One I love and the Martha Stewart Baby: Sleepytime(don't laugh). And my absolute favorite is one that is, unfortunately, out of print now, Lullabies for Little Dreamers: Soft Rock Classics from your favorite artists. Do yourself a favor - look for a used copy of that and skip this depressing, adult themed attempt at the blues.

  3. I love this CD. It is perfect for bed time no matter what the age. Had the hardest time finding it other places. I have young family members who listened to this when they were babies and now I found it for my own children!

  4. I remember receiving this CD from my sister when my first child was born. I would sit in the rocker with her and sing each song to her as she looked up in amazement. My favorite is "If I Didn't Have You to Wake Up To." My children, now 7 and 10, still occasionally ask me to sing a lullaby to them for fun. This song is always my first choice. Other than one song which feels a little bit intense, maybe even scary (my daughter would cry whenever it played, with tears running down her face), all the songs are pleasant, and fun to sing if you like singing. I have given it as gifts to several of my family and friends when they have their first child. It is a timeless piece. Great music, especially if you like female vocals! The variety of artists keeps it fresh...forever.

  5. We purchased this in summer of 2004 when our daughter was 1 1/2.
We, the parents, fell in love with it right away. Such a refreshing change, and all new songs to us. Now our little girl is over two, and has to hear it before bed each night. Track two, Child of Mine, is our special song, and instantly brings calm and cuddles to an otherwise stressful time of day. I can't imagine a time in the future when I won't love this CD. I will likely take it to my retirement home -- everybody needs a little lullaby once in a while -- not just the kids.

  3. My wife checked this one out at the library. I expected something so-so, but immediately decided it was broadway quality material and singers. Highly recommend!

  4. My daughter loves this album! Not only is it jam packed with wonderful kid friendly songs and beautiful images, it also has all the song lyrics printed on the sleeve so I can learn the songs and sing-a-long with my daughter. A must get!

5 comments about Radio Disney: Kid Jams.

  1. my kids and i have always loved this cd. we have all of the radio disney cds in our collection. but this is our favorite. we just the think the songs are so much fun for the kids as well as the adults. it brings back a lot of memories. so when our original cd got scratched, we were all disappointed. because you can't find this cd in the stores any more. but thanks to amamzon.com we were able to replace it at a reasonable price. now we are all happy again.

  2. I love the music on this CD because it takes popular music and makes it suitable for children... a very fun and festive selection of songs! Kids love it too!

  3. The track listing on here is fairly good, with Steve Vai, James Brown, and many other popular performers (hopefully after hearing these musicians, my nieces will begin to find less worthy children's "music" such as Kidz Bop as musically tedious and unsatisfying as the rest of my family does, and I admit that, even as a 27 year old woman I have recently found myself tuning into Radio Disney (to become familiar with and "hip to" what my nieces like and listen and actually enjoying much of what I hear. Much of what is on this CD and channel appeals to adults and children alike, making them so much better than so much other "family" music. I recommend this to anyone who has kids in their lives, as this music remains totally appropriate, but is not watered-down "kiddie" music that talks down musically to your kids.

  4. I work in a before and after school progream and we own all the the Radio Disney Cd's. My 1st - 5th graders love it. They know the songs from radio and the disney channel, and I don't have to worry about inappropriate lyrics.

  5. in my opinion this is the best cd radio disney put out. there are a few songs that i could do without but the majority of them are great. the kids love it and the parents enjoy it also. nice up beat songs that will get you and the kids moving! ENJOY!

5 comments about Wiggle Bay.

  1. My daughter really loved this CD but then afain she really loves all the Wiggles and the Wiggles stuff. But it is good.

  2. My daughter is a huge Wiggles fan and enjoys this CD. It is different from their other songs I have heard, just like some other reviews stated. I think you either like it or hate it...we like it. My daughter is 23 months and wants to listen to it every day. We have not seen the video and still enjoy the music.

  3. This is the worst wiggles album ever made. Going way over the edge on the experimental level, the wiggles try to hard to make new characters out of the same characters. Do not buy for your kids; instead get "Yummy, Yummy" or "Shout At the Devil" by Motley Crue.

  4. My son loves this CD. We love the beach & these are great songs to sing while singing or going to the beach. We love the upbeat songs that make you want to dance.

  5. What a fantastic CD! If you are a pop music fan you would have to love this album-- You don't have to have the DVD to appreciate this album. The songs are more of a rocking late 60s and early 70s sound, "Zing Zang Zong" being one of the highlights.

Like all the songs on this CD, "Let's Make Some Rosey Tea" sounds even better on CD than on the DVD. It also features some songs from "Space Dancing," which are equally awesome-- "What's This Button For?" and the cover of "Eagle Rock".

I love how the Wiggles explore pop music and don't stick with the traditional folk songs, I think "Wiggle Bay" and other late Wiggles albums are a great introduction for kids to pop music.

1 comments about Favorite Camp Songs.

  1. Favorite Camp Songs is pretty much what I was expecting. It's inexpensive and not flashy but it has a bunch of classic camping songs I wanted my 4 year old daughter to learn before next summer's camping trips.

At times an adult sings and at other times children sing. I'm pleased with the selection of songs the producers choose to include. My daughter and I were both happily singing along to the songs after the first couple of times we listened to it. I recommend buying it.

5 comments about Playhouse Disney.

  1. today, disney is not like it was in 1943, in fact we look at at
disney in a hole new way like zoog disney's teeny bop shows like 'the buzz on maggie' and 'the proud family' I really don't want my childern to watch the shows because on time on the proud family penny's grandma suger mama said the word 'sexy'
so I find that not so good for the young watchers.
now let's start with 'playhouse diseny' now 'bear in the big bule house' is vary good but 'jo jo's cirucs' is bad because my child don't like to see a frog with a tu-tu on that talks.
here are my show I like to watch... 'braceface' the show did air on abc family but they took it off then zoog disney aired it. 'beyblade' was a nice show my son really loved but now 'b-damon' took it's place and my son does not like the fact it has ''talking animals that walk''. so he liked 'beyblade' because 1 the art is better, 2 tops are more fun then marbles,
3 it's a show that kids can grow to love.
now abc took it off so my son is vary mad.
so disney just needs to stop trying to make teens watch tv because they need to be more active and more in to home work and they can't do that when they're watching disney all day can they?.

    thank you:

    kayla.

  2. We dropped cable a year ago, but now we can enjoy most of our favorite songs from Playhouse Disney. We were really missing them, so this is really fun to get and play.

  3. I bought this CD for the Rolie Polie Olie theme song. I was somewhat disappointed that the opening or the closing Bear in the Big Blue House themes were not included. Otherwise I am happy with the CD.

  4. Purchased this for my 2 year old twins. They really enjoy the songs. Fun and entertaining for child. Not "nails down a chalkboard" for adults.

  5. I adore this CD! Filled with fabulous, fun songs an adult can actually stomach after the second, even third time around.
Both the original Playhouse Disney & #2 are well worth the listening time and $$$!!!

5 comments about Pokemon 3 The Ultimate Soundtrack (2001 Film).

  1. I like that song to know the unkown by innosense thats a beautifull song the movie was great. I got the tape in 2001 a couple of days after the release this soundtrack was good to.

  2. Most of the songs are from Tottaly Pokemon, except for a couple.
...basicly a waste of time and money. And the only reason why I'm giving this a 3 is because I like Tottaly Pokemon....but this is a rip-off....don't buy this.Unless you NEED those couple song...type things.

  3. My son, who just turned 11, loves this CD, except the "mushy" parts. (but what do you expect). Was a soundtrack for his birthday party.

  4. This is a pretty good album. I got it when I was only 13 and now years later I can still enjoy it. Sure, it's a re-release of Totally Pokémon, but at the time I couldn't find it and I found that the tracks were on this soundtrack. Basically this is Totally Pokémon V. 1.2, and if you don't already have Totally Pokémon this is definitley worth it.

This CD features all the Pokémon Karaokemon tracks in their full version, the intro to Pokémon Johto Journeys, a remix that was in the movies (and is even better than the original), and some other tracks like the catchy Pokémon GS, and other songs such as He Drives Me Crazy, Biggest Part of my Life and others, as well as Karaoke versions of three of the Karaokemon tracks and To Know the Unknown, the ending sequence of the third movie. If you don't mind Pokémon-themed music, this is definitley a good CD and I'd recommend it.

  5. This was a pretty good CD. I believe that it did very well and I absolutely do not concur with the concurrence that KOCH records is very bad at making compilations. This was a great cd. Instant favorites on this CD was 6 and 11, all the others that came in eventually, was 1,3,and 7. Very good CD. I really enjoyed it, and you (and/or your kids...) should too!

3 comments about Santa's Rockin'.

  1. This is the third Wiggles Christmas album and we just really like it. The first one is still our favorite but this one throws in a couple of neat curves. Such as having an old rocker sing "Every Christmas This Child is Born Again." Can't remember the guy's name, but he sang "Eagle Rock" on Space Dancing, if you have that CD/video. I like these Christmas Wiggles CDs because they also put in the real meaning of Christmas in their original songs, not just ho, ho, ho and everything reindeer and Santa. It was an interesting thing to see Barry Williams (aka, Greg Brady) on there too. Not sure why that was there but, oh well.

Anyway, my only drawback to this video is that Mexican trio is back again. I don't know why they keep appearing but I think they're terrible and I'm asked to skip over that song all the time. Unfortunately, they're singing "Silent Night," my favorite Christmas song of all time. But, this is a good CD and one that keeps getting played thoughout the year in our Wiggle household. Recommend!

  2. A decent effort by the Wiggles and producer Paul Field. This is my least favorite of the Wiggles' Christmas efforts. Music is almost too flashy, and, quite honestly, I fail to see why anyone in their right mind would want Barry Williams (Greg Brady) headlining any of their artistic endeavors. Still, a fun listen on the road with the kids.

  3. The Wiggles are a toddler phenomenon. My son loves them but a couple of their more recent music hasn't grabbed him as much. But this one has new , fresh stuff from the wiggles about christmas and Santa and some favorite Christmas tunes, done very well. Greg has a great voice. This is now my son's favorite.

  1. My 2 and 4 year olds love this cd. These songs are great to listen to in the car, especially if your kids like to hear the same songs over and over. The songs won't drive the driver crazy.
