1. We love this tape and the songs stay with you! Our son played it so much, he wore it out... now we have to buy a new one for our baby daughter. Buy this one - you won't regret it. Remember: "Life without Jesus is like a donut, 'cause there's a hole in the middle of your heart!"



2. This cassette is absolutely wonderful! My 2 year old daughter would like to listen to this all day, and my 5 yr old son likes it a lot too. On top of that, I love it. The songs on here all seem so anointed, in spite of it being geared towards children, and even I could listen to these songs all the time. This cassette contains wonderful worship songs, that totally fill the room with the presence of the Lord. What an incredibly awesome tool to bring children to know God! Thanks, "Donut Man", I'm looking forward to more stuff from you!

1. I bought this to play at my son's 3rd Birthday Party which is dinosaur themed, but we're already listening to it in the car and both my kids LOVE this CD. Plus I get a little flashback with the "Walk the Dinosaur" song. Great CD, highly recommend this if you're looking for a music CD for your Dinosaur fan!



2. I bought this CD to play at my son's 4th birthday party (it was a dinosaur birthday). I gave it to him the week before and he loved the CD. He played it about 100 times that week

1. My son loves to watch the Baby Genius nursery songs on comcast on demand so I assumed that the cd would be great too! Nope. Big disappointment.

5 comments about The Songs From The Land Before Time (Video Soundtrack Anthology).

1. It has good facts about dinosaurs, so you are educateing the kids, but I don't watch this anymore.



2. My toddler absolutely loves The Land Before Time series, so we had to get the soundtrack too. It is great except for the kids informational bits right before the music. Sometimes it goes on a little too long which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that we absolutely love the soundtrack and I love to hear my son singing along with them. It was a worthy purchase!



3. All these songs bring back memories of my childhood when these movies first came out. Great music!



4. You're one of Us Now, It Takes All Sorts, Peaceful Valley and If We Hold On Together are TERRIFIC! Buy this CD if you like cute children's music or Land Before Time or both!



5. Anyone with the least bit of respect for movies and the music which accompanies them will stay as far away from this and other "Land Before Time Sequel" CDs and Movies; James Horner's soundtrack and Lucas/Spielberg/Bluth's original movie are the only forms of the Land Before Time which should be acknowledged as even being available.

1. My 18 month old daughter loves this CD. We were listening to Halloween music until after Thanksgiving. There are some catchy tunes on this CD!



2. The Childrens' Televison Workshop does it again!
   
   This is DVD is another great way for kids to learn to count and tell bad jokes.
   
   Elmo heads of to the count's castle where he gets to see counting and ghosts and bats and all sorts of ghouly things.
   And your wee one gets to enjoy it over and over again.
   
   One of their best!

1. I brought this CD to a daycare I worked at and we danced all over the place! The kids would always ask for me to put the CD back on..it was a hit!

1. We enjoyed this album when my kids were young. I was glad to find the CD and was able to buy a new copy at a very good price (with timely delivery in good condition). It is a great uplifing CD. I wish it had the other 4 songs that were on the record.



2. Mickey Mouse is as American as this CD. Kids have fun learning these patriot songs with Mickey and his friends.



3. This album is great for kids who like Mickey Mouse. The allegience to the US is really emphasized and it is just great to have so many songs about it.

   The voices used make the songs interesting for kids. Everyone will enjoy such an album.




4. I bought this CD for my little grandaughter who will be 4 on July 2nd. She loves many kinds of music, introduced by her mother and your's truly. :) She had a parade recently for Flag Day and wanted more marching music. SO, we shall all have a parade for the 4th of July at her b'day party. Good music, good beats and even the National Anthem. Kids learn fast, why not teach them these things via music? A super deal too for the price! You march along too, you'll all have fun. This Granny will, for sure!



5. Finally they put this wonderful group of music on a CD. Growing up my family had this collection of American songs on record and for years have been searchnig for it on a CD. This collection of songs about America is the best in the whole world. Why you ask? Mainly because the songs are the originals, but they seem more upbeat and a lot more fun to sing alongwith than the traditional recordings of the songs. This cd is a great way to get kids to learn the old songs of America in a fun and exciting way. And as always Mickey makes music so much more fun and entertaining for children and adults as well. I recommend this cd to anyone who loves the old songs of America and wants to hear them on an uplifting and enjoyable cd.

1. Wow, the reviewer who said parents would be annoyed were RIGHT on the button. This is only the third time I've *had* to listen to this CD and I'm already ready to chuck it into the trash. It's Ok when the kids are just singing as themselves, but in way too many of the songs the kids are faking English accents (why?)-- very annoying when it's not your own kid. :)



2. This is a big favorite of our 3 year old during car trips. It keeps her occupied, and singing along. She probably is more inclined to sing along as the singers on the CD are children, rather than adults.



3. Our son, who is 7 months old, is mesmerized by this CD. The first day we received this CD I played it in the car while we were out running errands and he was quiet the whole time. Just last week while driving home our son was getting fussy (because I was listening to talk radio) so I popped in the CD and he was quiet the rest of the way home - this alone would motivate me to buy another one.

   The songs are fun, after playing it non-stop most everytime were in the car, I'm still not tired of it. I enjoy listening/hearing the different dialects of the children and the songs are fun and entertaining.

   I envision, as our son gets older, we'll sing these songs together in the car and that will make the CD even more enjoyable for both of us. But right now, anything that keeps him happy and entertained in the car gets an A+ in my book.




4. My 2 year old daughter loves this CD. The songs are fun and easy to dance to. The nursery rhymes are familiar and my daughter enjoys reciting the lyrics and hearing them over and over and over again. This is definitely a great alternative to television and makes playtime much more fun! Your kids will love it.



5. This CD is packed with all the familiar songs that we have grown to love. What makes it different from the rest is that there are children themselves singing the songs. I teach dance classes for children and my little ones (3 and 4 yr. old) love this CD. I would recommend this one for the younger children that enjoy music and want to sing along.

1. I bought this CD to try to add variety to the music my Grandson listens to. It does have a few different ones and he enjoys the songs. We all end up singing along which really is a riot, and it makes dinner time fun and enjoyable for my Grandson.



2. As some people mentioned, the way I remember learning these songs were different in their style. But that is no suprise, my husband and I also recall different versions of these same songs from one another. I guess it all depends on who taught you the song first.
   
   Regardless they are still basically the same songs as always, though some of the songs I never heard before when growing up though most of these I did.
   
   My daughter loves singing along, though I am not quite as enthralled with the song prsentatione as she is. A 5 star for children though.



3. I bought this CD 5 years ago and my oldest still loves the CD. Now, my 15 month old loves it too! It keeps him happy in the car. I like the CD too because its not annoying..no screeching yelling kids singing...the adults sing the songs and the kids on there sound normal. I actually like singing with this CD with my kids.



4. My 2 year-old daughter and 8 month son love this CD although I found that the diction of the singer on track #13 could have been better.

1. I used this for a Halloween party I had and it was great! Wonderful scary mood music for Halloween. Reccomended to anyone as background music or especially for parties!
