1. Somewhat disappointed, the repair manual was not specific to my motorcycle. I have a 1999 Yamaha V-Star 1100, which is covered by the manual I purchased. However I found it somewhat unreliable in the repairs I needed to make.



2. If you want to do your own repairs you need to geet one of these. The book is ok, and does provide all the information you need, but i find other books ive gotten for my truck to be much better than what they release for bikes.



3. This is a pretty good manual for the 1100 V star, with decent pictures and good info for the owner of this bike.

1. Has everything I expected from a repair manual and more. Makes an every day Joe like me seem like a competent and skilled mechanic. Please note that a certain aptitude is required to perform even the basic tasks, the book is really a step-by-step idiots guide and any novice should research before attempting to perform maintenance for the first time. The book will help diagnose issue but in the field, unless you have experienced the cause of a fault or breakdown, it could be something else. It's a great book; all V-Max owners should have one. As all V-Max owners know, these bikes were built to last, the engine is a work horse and will keep running with good maintenance as laid out in the book. I hope this helps you budding V-Max owners.



2. I just received for 20 minutes ago, and i think This is the best book I ever have. Nothing like this. Very complete, very details, very user friendly, and offcourse very cheap for me, than you have to trial and error for your vmax. But, i think Haynes should be input the Historial of This Bike from beginning to presents.
   
   I'll buy it again if you made it haynes....

1. hi, i wqas looking around for a catalogue of my yamaha tt 600, cause here is no information about it.



2. The book is quite extensive and well written, simple to understand and to follow, I think that it's well worth it's price. It's being about two models at the same time is a bit confusing at times, but not too bad. Delivery was fast and reliable.



3. This Clymer book on the XT/TT 600 is as least as good as the Factory yamaha manual which I also own, but at far less cost. The factory manual is $60 + shipping. Many of the chapters have better coverage than the factory manual. Lots of the pictures are better too. Remember, it's 80's vintage, so the pics aren't done digitally in either book.

1. It was not what I was expecting. It was 95% reprints of old motorcycle reviews. If you read the reviews from 1969, 1970, 1971, etc. by the time you get to 1985 there is not much excitement. You might know year-to-year changes but not much else. Other than reviews there were two articles about rebuilding the top end.
