1. Well put together as most Clymer manuals are. The sections are well thought out and the steps easy to follow. It made the breakdown and replacement of my bike's motor a relative snap.

1. Somewhat disappointed, the repair manual was not specific to my motorcycle. I have a 1999 Yamaha V-Star 1100, which is covered by the manual I purchased. However I found it somewhat unreliable in the repairs I needed to make.



2. If you want to do your own repairs you need to geet one of these. The book is ok, and does provide all the information you need, but i find other books ive gotten for my truck to be much better than what they release for bikes.



3. This is a pretty good manual for the 1100 V star, with decent pictures and good info for the owner of this bike.

1. I think that this book is a great book for the person wanting to learn and know more about Yamaha dirtbikes. I like it because it talks specifically about each size bike and shows you general rules of thumb on fixing and repairing your bike. Clymers book also shows you the aspects of riding. I would defenitely get this book. IT is worth the money.

1. Has everything I expected from a repair manual and more. Makes an every day Joe like me seem like a competent and skilled mechanic. Please note that a certain aptitude is required to perform even the basic tasks, the book is really a step-by-step idiots guide and any novice should research before attempting to perform maintenance for the first time. The book will help diagnose issue but in the field, unless you have experienced the cause of a fault or breakdown, it could be something else. It's a great book; all V-Max owners should have one. As all V-Max owners know, these bikes were built to last, the engine is a work horse and will keep running with good maintenance as laid out in the book. I hope this helps you budding V-Max owners.



2. I just received for 20 minutes ago, and i think This is the best book I ever have. Nothing like this. Very complete, very details, very user friendly, and offcourse very cheap for me, than you have to trial and error for your vmax. But, i think Haynes should be input the Historial of This Bike from beginning to presents.
   
   I'll buy it again if you made it haynes....

1. There are two major publishers in the motorcycle maintenance handbook market, Haynes and Clymer. After doing some research on the net, I opted for the Haynes. I have since returned it and have ordered the Clymer. The basic problem that I had with the Haynes was that the print was very small. If I'm working on my bike, I want to be able to quickly glance at the manual for information as I'm working on the bike. I didn't think that this would be possible with the small print of the Haynes manual.

1. Excellent book. Covers repair/maintenace not covered in the users manual.
