1. I have a '83 Suzuki DT5. First boat/outboard so was looking for something to get me going maintenance/familiarization-wise. I'd have to say this book is the best going around. It has given me some good grounding knowledge but in some cases the information is not detailed enough specific to individual engines. So it didn't answer all my questions, but it answered perhaps the other 90% of them, so it is well worth grabbing. As mentioned, I haven't found a better resource for these older outboards yet.

1. This is a nice book. It's an easy read, with plenty of photos. HOWEVER, in many ways it felt like a rehash of the old Jeff Clews SUZUKI book. I was disappointed at the continued narrow UK view, the lack of real detail on any particular bike apart from the RE5 lemon. If you're after real depth and information this is NOT the book you want. If you want a great coffee-table lightweight to leaf through, and you're totally fixated on the GT750, then this is definately what you've been looking for.

1. This book is a great addition to any library of service manuals. It is written with the do-it-yourselfer in mind. The books only downfall is that if you are a 600 Katana owner all of the subject matter pertaining to this bike has been condenced into one chapter. This makes it hard to look up various subject matter because the sub-chapters are not indexed. This book also does not cover some of the indepth tear down procedures on different aspects of the Katana. A factory manual will still need to be referenced. Be also prepared to look in multiple sections for the order of assembly or dissassembly of different procedures. Overall this book is a great help in the servicing, repair and maintenance of your motorcycle
