5 comments about Angels Hard as They Come.
  1. Sex, violence and bikers on an action-filled ride in this raw, angry film produced and co-written by Jonathan Demme. The two stars Scott Glenn and Gary Busey, in early roles, play their parts as nasty bikers with total realism and gritty determination.

  2. Do not buy, stupid cornball boring noncense of a story. I could hardly get thru it.

  3. This is an excellent resource for hard to find dvd's. The shipment was is excellent condition and shipped out quickly.

  4. This product had no voice volume at all, had it turned up all the way and was nothing.
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME on this one.

  5. I'm a fan of Gary Busey and I know this was one of his first movies and I know this was originally a B-movie, but his scenes were few and far between and without substance. This was even a poor B-movie. I tried my hardest to find some positive quality about this movie, but could not do it. The picture quality was poor, the acting was poor, the script was poor. I gave it one star, just because some of the bikes were sharp looking. I'd recommend many other biker movies over this one. Don't waste your time.

5 comments about Twist of the Wrist.
  1. This product is usefull for beginners, however, the same concepts IMO can be learned from reading the book, a Twist of the wrist. I sat through and watched the DVD for the full length, I am not sure if i picked up anything by watching a graphic version of the book, which is basically what this is.

  2. First of all, it's old, so the of course it's going to be cheesy. I was willing to look past that. But most of the DVD shows guys drawing how they're going to enter a turn and to pick out certain points in the road... they repeat it over.. and over....and over... and over.. I had to stop the DVD before I even made it half way through. I finally decided to start watching it again the next day.. and guess what?.. more drawing! I have learned more watching videos on YouTube than I did from this video - nothing.

  3. The information contained in the video is good. The info will be useful for new riders and people that are trying to focus more on how to corner.

The one thing I wasn't happy about was the lack of instruction on how to do things better. They do a great job of telling you what to do and what not to do, but don't spend time on telling you how to do it. In lots of situations they tell you to figure out what works best for you. I thought the focus of the video should have been on teaching us what Keith knew and what he would do.

I do need to worn you about the jokes in the video. They make all types of attempts at humor in the video and every time they did my wife and I made a funny face at each other. I hope Keith's sense of humor is better in person. If not the two day camp I am doing is going to be torture.

As for the quality of the video it was poor. The video was shoot in the 80s and the production of the video is poor by today's standards. To say it needs updating is an understatement.

If you are lazy and don't like to read then watching the video is the way to go. If you don't mind reading then I would get the book and focus on one section at a time. I would back the book up by doing some track time and applying what you have learned. Just so you know Keith has classes all over the US and everything they teach in the books and video are taught in his classes. Being I am a hands on type of guy I would much rather learn from him at the track.

  4. This dvd is terrible. I bought it in the hopes that it would be presented differently than his books, but it is just the same. Keith uses ten-cent euphmisms like "products" and "points of timing" and whatnot, when all he is talking about is negotiating a turn. Pick your braking point, your turn in, and go. Simple. Faster the better.

Keith has a promising career in middle management ahead of him.

Also, the "humorous" bits and the pauses between them account for WAY too much of this vid.

  5. I love the series of books but this DVD falls down. The material and footage is dated. The shots do not nearly go far enough to take advantage of really letting us see what is being discussed. When this was shot that was probably due to equipment limitations. It is really, realllly time to update this with much more extended and closer footage. This medium could be the icing on the cake for the series but it's really more the box you throw away to get to the books...

2 comments about Basic Maintenance I DVD for all Motorcycles.
  1. While the video is basic, it is well made, and it will give the person with a little mechanical skill the confidence necessary to perform basic maintenance tasks. Basically, if you think you might be able to do it yourself if you could just watch someone else do it first, then this video is for you.

  2. This is a very well put together DVD. I know motorcycles pretty well, I've worked on many since I was a teen, and although I knew many of the things already, I also learned a few things from these videos. He goes step by step into what he is doing, and explains why. Plus the benefits are that you can always stop, and go back to anything you may have missed. I highly recommended these videos!!

  1. All about trains and planes dvd is worth $5. This one is completely deceptive. Your child will have more fun if you go to a service station and meet a real mechanic. The actor is lame. They talk continuously about magic and who knows what. It's nothing like the picture. Completely boring and not worth one penny.

  2. My 2 year old LOVES this DVD!!! I have to order a new one because he will bring it to me and say "I wanna watch cars". So now we have scratches on it and it skips. My 7 and 9 year old think it is interesting as well. They will sit and watch the whole thing with their brother. I do agree that the actors are a little cheezy, but as long as the kids like it I am ok with that.

5 comments about The Mouse and the Motorcycle.
  1. Hey kids! This 1986 television special, which was based on a best-selling novel, and also had two following movies: Ralph S. Mouse(1987) and Runaway Ralph(1988), also based on novels, is a great film. The animation is kind of cheap, but it is funny in most of it, and is a great family story. Talk your parents into getting it along with the other 2. You'll luv 'em!

  2. The Mouse & The Motorcycle is funny, but I did hear of the book, why I wonder if there are mice that can ride motorcycles, since Stuart Little could ride a toy car.

  3. A cute tale about a young boy staying overnight at a motel with his parents, when he meets a furry little friend who resides inside the wall of his motel room. The boy and mouse help one another out in nice ways, making the stay enjoyable for both boy and mouse. Only the mouse and his family are animated in this film. Very good actors perform in the film, some of which are familar faces. My 8-year-old son enjoyed the movie, but my 10-year-old daughter was somewhat bored. The only qualm I had was I thought the voice of the mouse sounded somewhat overly "cutesy", borderline corny. The boy's voice was more mature than the mouse's. Overall, a nice family show for viewing with younger children.

  4. I saw this movie as a child in the ABC Specials too... now my 7 year old just finished reading the book and when I told him I saw the movie he couldn't wait to see it too! We looked all over for the DVD since I do not own a VCR but we can not find it on DVD anywhere, he was disappointed but i don't want to buy a VCR just for this one movie! If anyone knows if there is a DVD version out there let us know!!!! Please.

  5. I watched this movie many times as a kid (for some reason, it was on early Saturday mornings a bunch of times), and I *loved* it. I just remembered it now for some reason, and had to look it up! It's a classic, and I highly recommend it.

2 comments about American Chopper Season 5 - DVD Set (Part 1).
  1. The dvds are definitely manufactured by someone different than the first 3 seasons. The dvds are really bad in the fact that they are out of order on the disc (episode wise). I also had a disc arrive that did not even work. The best part is that the cheap producers did not use any anti-burning techniques, so you can burn / copy them all you want. Might save you some money if you don't want to pay the 30 bucks per set. I would ask around if I were you before buying.

On a good note, the show is still excellent and provides lots of entertainment. I love American Choppers. I just hope they choose a better company next time to release the dvds, just for their sake, because pirating is going to be an issue with seasons 4-5-6 (which I bought).

  2. This set includes 4 disks with 2 shows per disk + 1, total of 7 episodes. The episodes are:

    56 Military Bike 1 originally aired: 9/5/2005
    57 Military Bike 2 originally aired: 9/12/2005
    58 Yankees Bike 1 originally aired: 9/19/2005
    59 Yankees Bike 2 originally aired: 9/26/2005
60 Space Shuttle Tribute Bike 1 originally aired: 10/3/2005
61 Space Shuttle Tribute Bike 2 originally aired: 10/10/2005
    62 Rick's Dream Bike 1 originally aired: 10/17/2005

I believe these sets are privately produced by Amazon, definitely not by the Learning Channel's production company. This is a bare bones set. NO special features, not even a disk menu to choose episodes on each disk. Discovery did much better with seasons 1-3, these new sets leave much to be desired, and at around $5 per episode, the price is steep. Still fun if you want to have these episodes. Come on Learning/Discovery- you can do better than this!!!!!

4 comments about Power Rangers Ninja Storm - Looming Thunder.
  1. The Thunder Rangers are back and this time they can't help but not play nice. Luthor has erased their memories of their discovery of the truth about the demise of their step parents. The rangers all get stranded on an unknown island. Plus Hunter goes on a rampage which forces the other rangers, including Blake to fight at their best. After these episodes Ninja Storm starts to find it's footing now that it has five regular rangers. These episodes probably are some of the best episodes of Ninja Storm to date. The only thing left for the show to do is to add the traditional sixth ranger, in this case the Green Samurai Ranger.

  2. I..[don't like] power rangers ninja strom because all the episodes get so repetitive...ninja storm relys too much on computers and the sceens where the rangers are a shadow and fighting are lame and the rangers obveously can't do their own stunts at all!!...and the thunder rangers episodes are very bad and very bad acting so if your looking for a good power rangers movie get might morphin or wild force

  3. Of the five (so far) Ninja Storm DVDs, this is my favorite. Although it wasn't hard to put two-and-two together (I wonder who those pesky Thunder Rangers are...) but it was entertaining. This and Lightening Strikers are must haves for the Ninja Storm fan.

  4. On this vol. of Power Rangers Ninja Storm you get to finally see the Thunder Rangers in action. # 462 Recap: Dustin makes two new friends, Blake and Hunter, at the motocross track. His continued spending of time with them causes him to be late to join his Ranger teammates in battle once too often. # 463 Recap: Cam is in need of the data disc for the Tsunami Cycles, which Dustin had last, all unaware that it's not only landed in the hands of the evil Thunder Rangers, but has been used to give them their own Cycles! This leads to the first confrontation between the Wind and Thunder Rangers! # 464 Recap: The Wind Rangers recover from their defeat by the Thunder Rangers, though Tori lacks the ability to morph when the Amphibidor monster attacks, draining the city's water supply. Blake helps to save her, in doing so, he's injured. He's taken to the location of Ninja Ops, which will come back to haunt our heroes quite quickly! # 465 Recap: As the Evil Space Ninjas celebrate the capture of Sensei Guinea Pig by the Thunder Rangers, the Wind Rangers pinpoint just where Blake and Hunter are taking their mentor. Tracking the evil Rangers to the Mountain of Lost Ninjas, our heroes struggle not only to retreive Sensei, but to fight off the zombie guards around the location of the powerful Gem of Souls! Here is a list of the episodes that are on this vol.

    # 462. Looming Thunder
    # 463. Thunder Strangers, Part 1
    # 464. Thunder Strangers, Part 2
    # 465. Thunder Strangers, Part 3

3 comments about A to Z MotoGP.
  1. The technical aspects covered and film footage were first rate. However, the whole experience was bad in that the obnoxious background noise (I'm being very charitable here) was so distracting that I couldn't concentrate on what was being said. I'm not kidding! I don't mind a little music intro but this was absurd and had no place or purpose other than to distract from the oral narrative. I know this isn't supposed to be like a conversation in my living room but still, if someone is trying to explain the intricacies of the tires being use in MotoGp then why in the hell do you have to put up with someone who sounds as if he's pounding on a garbage can lid with a baseball bat? This was not an isolated problem. It occurs throughout the DVD. The same criticism applies to the 2007 MotoGP Official Review DVD that I purchased at the same time.

  2. If you like MotoGP you need this for your DVD libary. Only wish had more length to it.

  3. When I first got the DVD I played it in the shop over and over - never got the chance to sit and watch it myself. I finally got to do so last night and I thought it was amazing educational DVD put together. Good job!
