1. I suppose this was a great movie back in the 20th century when it was made. Rick Mears and Parnelli jones were not old yet and Ironman Stewart was an unknown back then. The racecars are antiquated by todays standards. Everybody is wearing polyester lesure suits with wide lapels and huge neckties. Parnelli Jones was particularly rediculus with a combover that looked like it started at the back of his head. I think Parnelli Jones and Donald Trump(the Donald) go to the same hair stylist.
   Overall a great movie but it is getting really old. They need to make a new one and use clips from this one as historical footage.



2. I got this video for my son who loves dirt bikes & dune buggies. The description was VERY misleading, stated it was made in 2003. The footage is from the 1970's. About as boring as watching paint dry. Not pleased at all.

1. If you thought the first two were good, CMG 3 is faster harder and will have you on the edge of your seat through out the entire flick. It will have you screaming NO-WAY over and over again. A must in your collection of Hardcore vidoes.



2. From freeride, to motocross, to desert racing, the "Children Of A Metal God" trilogy has got it all--most of it on crystal clear 16mm film. A must for any dirtbike enthusiast!

1. If you loved motorcycles in the 50's & 60's, you will enjoy this film. It contains footage not used in On Any Sunday, with interviews with some of the riders featured in On Any Sunday.

   Watch the old bikes ride again!




2. Henderson in Nevada, you missed the point. "RE" is the key word here. What I hoped and expected; the young crazy kids, grown up and now grandfathers as they hash over old times. They're in their 50's and 60's even. They all looked terrific; still good pals, which just goes to prove the sport is for real. Malcom Smith and Jim Rice weren't featured and I was looking forward to seeing them. If you weren't around back in '71 to appreciate the original release, or you didn't ride; you probably won't appreciate this. WE were involved and my husband died since then; so it was like going home. Odom, Bugsy, Dave Aldana, Kenny Roberts, Mert Lawwill, Palmgren, Nixon, Gene Romero; if these names don't sound familiar, don't bother. It's exactly what the title says; "REVISITED"; IF YOU WEREN'T THERE THE FIRST TIME, YOU CAN'T "RE" VISIT anyplace. I did hope to see some Widow Maker in Utah, how many people have made the top since. Teeth clenching "endo's" that would kill most. I'm happy with it; just too short. Death of one rider; sad, but can we say "UNEXPECTED?" I think not, since when you see some of the accidents left out of the original; you should know why.



3. This horse cannot be beaten to death !

   Although not as good as the original, (how could it be ?!), it is a worthy tribute to the riders and stars of On Any Sunday.

   Meeting them again after 30 years and seeing how this revolutionary movie of it's time affected their lives is what I wanted to see. (You can see Malcolm Smith in OAS.3).

   History in the making before your very own eyes - How can you beat it !




4. If you are 46 years old or older and used to Flat Track this movie is awsome. It's great to see all the detailed racing and how rough those old tracks were. The interviews are insitefull and take you back to the greatest era of dirt track the 60s and early 70s when flat track was king. It would have been better to hear Dick Mann, Gene Romero, and Jim Rice interviewed, but maybe they didn't want to. I hated to see it end.



5. FOUND THIS DVD TO BE VERY, VERY INFORMATIVE AND BROUGHT BACK A LOT OF OLD MEMORIES. DIDN'T MISS A MINUTE OF IT.
   
   WOULD HAVE LIKED MORE TOUCHING BASE WITH SOME OF THE LEGENDS OF THAT ERA SUCH AS RICE, ROMERO, MARKLE. WHAT ARE THEY DOING NOW?
   
   OVERALL IT WAS VERY GOOD THOUGH.

1. Well at least we have motorcycle videos to choose from now...even if it looks like my Uncle Bob shot and edited the video. The video is somewhat informative, but his accent, video quality, and lack of documented lists are distracting to it's quality. In regards to the last comment...here's one example...he says he is going to share his tool set with you and lays it out in front of himself and proceeds to talk about it for 1 minute and then moves on to great products from his sponsors. Did you get all that?! Ahhhh...being that I paid for the video could you have a screen list that I could freeze-frame on; or a printed document? Or is specifics going to be covered in the book (rolls eyes). I bought this video to learn from a pro...so would I buy another of his quality videos? Simply...no.
