1. We used this book to replace the pads on the brakes. It looked real plain spoken and informative until we used the book.
   
   It did not tell us that the parking brake had to be removed from the back brake caliper assembly! We figured that out on our own by many phone calls to the dealer service techs.
   
   Most of the book is an easy read and should help in your repair or maintence projects. Better having this book than running to the dealer every day.

1. This book is destined to become a classic. It folds layers and layers of in-your-face emotional experiences as a motorcyclist; as a human being, wrapped into the experience of a Vietnam veteran, one who is simply attempting to derive some meaning from his experience as a soldier. I found the book to be riveting, couldn't put it down. Any biker, soldier, American citizen should consider this book to be a first on their shopping list.



2. It is difficult to combine the feelings of travel and reflection; especially those deep within someone's psyche. But this book does it with grace and sincerity. Further, it hits hard at the core of who we are becoming as a nation from an individual who has sampled the best and the worst of our current generations.

   Get the book. Read it; and think of your own experiences and how they affect your life today.

This book serves as a fine tribute to the late Barry Sheene and is well worth reading. Wonderful photographs (many of which have never been released before) makes for a rich tapestry of Britains last world champion motorcycle racer. The book provides a good look at his family life, his competitors, the bikes, the races and, of course, the accidents... A great book and well worth the money.

1. This book is a personal accounting of the art of painting bikes by one of the world's top motorcycle fine artists. It's great if you're a motorcyle enthusiast or an artist looking for inspiration.
   
   There are no magical step-by-step how to lists in this book. If you're looking for a more instructional piece, this isn't that kind of book. However, it covers things in a more general way that leaves approach and specific technique open for the artist to discover and explore on their own, which is the best way.
   
   What it does cover is the overall planning and preparation process for several paintings, as well as some information on reproduction. It's also a book that you can return to over time and continue to get good stuff out of, whether you're looking to enjoy some good reading or incorporate new ideas into your own artistic process.
