1. Older repair manuals with dark pictures are next to useless. This one is has mostly dark pix. Avoid it.

1. Lots of professional writeups on the Supercar from Japan. Not a fast read as the information is from many different perspectives. Very intersting for the NSX owner or fan.

Truly a 5 Star book of information.

1. This book covers Honda from inception right up to the Gold Wing introduction. The book has a wealth of information with background stories on many key models, including a warts-and-all review of these bikes. There is also a chapter on Honda's racing efforts. Although I never had much interest in this specific subject, the book provides another insight on development that also had an impact on production models. At the back end of the book there is an appendix that has tables on bike specifications, model recognition and production years ['47 to '80]. This part alone has been an invaluable resource for me.
   A must have for anyone seriously into vintage Hondas!

1. I found this book to be somewhat helpful. I had to do a total rebuild on my bike this book helps with some of the harder disasembly but stops short of the total process. you may find youself on your own with some of the seemingly harder things like crank removal. The annoying take to a authorized dealer is seen far too much i think in this book. They sugest it and and don't really help by showing you pictures or describing alignment of much needed things like counter balancer placement. But so far this is the only book i have come across for this bike if you can find a honda shop manual you would be better off.



2. The book is very informative. The instructions are fairly detailed, but like all such books can be a bit generic at times.



3. Note, the M328-4 Clymer manual does not cover the 1983 XR200R. However, when on Amazon and you key in 1983 XR200R it pulls this manual up. I just received my order today and fortunately I did not unwrap the plastic cover because I am returning it as you need the M318-4 to cover the 1983 XR200R. Kind of deceiving. Either Clymer needs to get their act together when selling these manuals, or Amazon does. Seems a bit dishonest to me.

1. This book gets the job done efficiently. The book has lots of pictures and diagrams, including wiring diagrams in the back. The wiring diagrams are complete with wire colors and destinations. I have used the book to pull the engine on my 1984 VF500F several times. The manual led me thru the process with ease. I reccomend this book to the begginer as well as the expert.



2. I have this book open nearly every time I work on my bike. It's given me a lot of confidence in many of my own maintenance activities. However, there are errors in it that if not spotted would possibly cause problems and some of the pictures suffer from horrid resolution and lack of proper light or contrast which make it a little guesswork in finding the parts in question.
   
   The index is relatively useless, leaving out a TON of shortcuts. It relies on indexing only the major sections and not usually the parts you might be looking for info on.
   
   Even so, if you have a baby 'ceptor, and aren't already inclined as a bike mechanic, this is a must have.

1. This is an excellent manual for the do-it-yourselfer. Covers everything step by step with tons of photos.
