1. This book has helped me a lot during the past few weeks, and I can see no reason why this shouldn't go on. Very well illustrated book, filled to the rim with easy-to-follow and absolutely understandable instructions on how to repair and/or overhaul the Honda. I like it a lot!



2. Great book to have. I started working on my CB900C the next day and have replace many parts on it. I'm glad I bought it.

1. This book opened my eyes to a whole new way of seeing my favorite motorcycle company. I am a fan of their cars too but it has always been their two wheeled machines that have had me hooked. The best thing about the book is what an "American Story" Sochiro Honda was. From nothing to greatness in his field in a single lifetime. Honda tried and failed and went back to school and succeeded. He worked HARD as a young man to even get to a position to launch what we now think of as Honda.

   A really neat read, it will surprise you.

1. Clymer has made a great book for Honda Valkyrie repairs. Many books do not have great detail or accompanying pictures. Clymer does it right and has great schematic drawings of the electrical are great and all the technical speak in the book are comprehensible to the layman. I'm glad I got this book and I would buy it again as a first choice.

1. Really had a hard time to remove carbs...took longer to remove than to replace after I got this manual...was gonna get a oem manual but this really did the trick .....
   would not hesitate to sell to anyone else a "must buy" for this bike series !!!!

1. This is an excellent manual for the do-it-yourselfer. Covers everything step by step with tons of photos.

1. Lots of professional writeups on the Supercar from Japan. Not a fast read as the information is from many different perspectives. Very intersting for the NSX owner or fan.



2. As a recently new Acura NSX owner the more knowledge generated about this exclusive and unique automobile the better. The Acura-Honda NSX Performance Portfolio has been invaluable in better understanding every aspect of the car, its history, concept development, operation, performance, technical aspects, and much more. For every NSX owner or anyone considering the purchase of this one of a kind supercars, this book is a MUST and also great reading for non-NSX owner automobile enthusiasts as well. Truly a 5 Star book of information.



3. I would recommend everyone to buy this book, regarding if you are a "Hondafan" or not.

1. First off, unless Amazon has updated their picture, the subtitle on the cover is not "Everything You Need To Know About Every Honda Ever Built" but it actually says "...Every Honda Street Bike Ever Built". Even that is not quite correct. If you take that as every street legal Honda you will notice that all the SL and XL models that are street legal trail bikes are missing but the CT90/110 is included. I only noticed a couple of street models missing, an example is the MB5 is included but the NS50 is not, but the information is sparse and inconsistent. If you are trying to identify some Honda by color or decals this book may help you but if you are looking for true technical information it is lacking. Most of the information presented is similar to what you would read in product brochure for that model without any true technical information. There are many errors in the information presented. The author tells you the CB350G has a disk brake but then shows a picture of a CB350K4 and has it labeled a CB350G. This is just one example of many errors in the book. There are many photos but there are normally several photos of the same bike so don't look for a photo of each model of each year or even half of them. There is a pricing guide for the early, 1980 and earlier, models that is handy if you are looking to purchase one of the older bikes. Overall I'd say this book's title far overreaches the actual book. If you really want to know the differences in years and all the U.S. models the "Honda Motorcycle Identification Guide" is a much better reference. For the early years I recommend Roy Bacon's "Honda- The Early Classic Motorcycles" which is based on the U.K models from 1947 1977.



2. Excellent overview of Honda's I had forgotten about. Covers all models Technical data OK, not indepth, however give excellent general info.



3. Is Dougs' book the Ultimate Guide to Hondas, No. Is it worthwhile, indeed. When you consider the immense product line Honda has manufactured over the years, it would be quite challenging to cover each and every model in detail. But Mr.Mitchell has done a fine job of covering the majority of very popular models, and the color photography is superb. Most examples of the bikes are in excellent condition, and a few, namely the MB-5 were not. But I can only begin to imagine what is involved to find perfect examples of all of these bikes covered. If you love Hondas, you won't be disappointed by this book.



4. Why no mention or pics of the SL series or the cool small trail bikes from 1970? Was hoping to relive a bit of my childhood here.

1. After buying a 2003 Honda motorcycle, I wanted to be sure it was in safe, working order. The repair manual for this bike is about $70 from helm inc, the company that actually prints all the shop manuals for several motorcycle and car makers. The Clymer manual was less than half that price, and is just as good as the "official" manual for the shadetree mechanic. The directions are clear and easy to understand, and the photos are, for the most part, accurate and functional. The only complaint I might have would be that the photos could use more color. I would certainly recommend this book, and all clymer books, to anyone that owns a vehicle for which Clymer makes a repair manual.
