Hi Rob,

You may or may not know me, but I'm a long-time fan of your Netrunner door. I was simply shocked to see that you had begun porting it to the web. What a great idea!

I started working on a similar concept a while back using a number of different web scripting languages (PHP, ColdFusion, ASP) but I kept running into the same problem: the web is lousy at state-management, unlike the BBS. It was too hard to reliably push data to clients when they aren't constant requesting it (and hence, hammering your server to death in the process), so I pitched that idea and have moved to an XML-based client-server structure... so I suppose it will be a stand-alone, but BBS-esque, game.

Anyhow - keep up the good work... maybe we should talk sometime and see if there are communal goals between our projects.

Cheers,
