The new program and new ICEPosted by Rob Jacob (141.123.100.69) on June 17, 2004 at 13:26:31: The new program is called "Alpha Z 2a". It is expensive, and copy-protected. It will kill any ice in a single hit, but gets progresively weaker (less likely to hit) with each successful hit. After 5 successes, it is used up, and it will be deleted. Probably best used for VERY high lever systems, otherwise probably not worth it. The new ICE are "Infection" which will infect your programs with viruses. "Sandman" which will eat away of your moves left for the day. "Balrog" which will stun you, and starts chipping away at your deck, destroying the armor, and speed enhancements, until it finally fries the ROM. If you are stunned, you won't even be able to jack out. "Tar Pit" which will grab you and hold you, and if you attempt to attack it, it will delete the program that attack it with if you miss. And "Tracer" which runs a trace on your connection, which could have dire consequences. These are mostly in higher level systems, but you might see them in a green level system.
