1. Good map, not laminated (which is better if you want to mark locations, won't rub off) but I like the 'Berndtson' series maps better, they have more info and the color scheme makes them easier to use.



2. This is a decent map of Budapest, but it does not reach as far as the Ferihegy Airport.
   
   Moreover, be warned,streets in Budapest make many twists and turns which are shown on maps (and indeed, street signs and street arrows) as "straight."
   
   Often right lanes go on to turn right, while "straight" arrows, and apparently "straight" streets veer off to the left.
   
   Be careful before setting off, especially by car, that you know the landmarks surrounding the streets you wish to reach.
   
   And do not spend a fortune for this map before reaching Budapest. It is available in any street news stand (hirlap) for about 700 Hungarian forints, or $3.50, at November 2008 exchange rates.

1. This map was well worth the price and the weight added to our luggage (miniscule). The 3 different scaled maps were helpful; the suggested places of interest were good but limited, as there are so many things to see and do in Budapest. The only supplemental map needed was one from the tram/bus system, which were easily found at our hotel.

1. The problem with this map is that in trying to be so small it limits its usefulness. You can't track a whole trip on one page, or easily find a street by name. I should have learned my lesson about these Streetwise maps by now.



2. Map is indestructible. Coupled with a compass attached to my camera it eliminates the appearance of being lost.



3. The item in question (a plastic laminated city map of Budapest) was just fine and came as offered. But it was shipped in a ridiculous amount of unnecessary packaging which A) I'm sure increased my shipping costs and B) is very bad for the environment. I think it would be a good idea for you to look at whether or not all this packaging is really needed?



4. I happily used this map for my November 2008 trip. This map is first-rate -- the streets are clearly marked, the major destinations are labeled properly and placed correctly. I also found the inset map of central Pest (and where many of the major sights are) to be very helpful, with virtually all of the smallest streets marked. This map and my camera were really all I needed for many fine days of sightseeing in Budapest.



5. This map was a travel necessity. What a lifesaver, Budapest was a challange but Streetwise was very easy to use and helped us to get around. very durable!
