- So I picked this thing up for 4 reasons: Yuen Biao, Yuen Wah, Lo Hieh, and Phillip Ko. Sounds like a some good kung fu's gonna hit the screen. Not one bit. But I am actually glad to get a break from it after seeing this flick. This one had me gripping the rocking chair for over 80 minutes. And there was no rocking going on. The acting is brilliant. I had NO idea Yuen Biao could actually act. I thought he was ok in OUATIC part 1, but he showed me he can act with pretty much anybody.
Now like I said there is no fu, but again, don't let your kids watch this. But for us movie fans in general, there is one good fight scene in the movie and it is very brutal. Now Lo lieh, Phillip Ko, and Yuen Wah, were certainly not showcased in this, but were all AWESOME.
The story starts out with Yuen Biao's wife getting murdered. Along the way we find out all the details and it is a very juicy story. The hitman is a woman, and has a really funny but cool hair do. So Biao and her have a chance meeting and I thought I was gonna see some fu but what you see in this fight is what the movie is. Violent and brutal. Not kung fu, just straight up violence. I don't want give anything away, but people do get shot in various parts of head. And trust me, not telling you the other ways people die, IS what I mean by not giving anything away. You'll see. Now the cinematographer does a great job to capture the mood of the film, dark. And the music is AWESOME. Not great, but once again, dark. Now even though the movie is only 82 minutes, it gives you a pretty complete story.
So overall, I gotta say GREAT acting, GREAT story, and GREAT directing job by alfred cheung. Overall of one of the finest Hong Kong films ever made.

- and cliched plot. the whole movie was like a comic book. a tiny weeny japanese waiter became an accidental tourist in hongkong after he was fired in japan's restaurant, then....well, i've already suffered a loss of about 2 hours of my lifetime, you think i'd be stupider to write a full review of this bad movie? you want me to stand on the treetop like what they did in this film and 'crouching tiger and hidden dragon' or play some cgi or gif graphic stunt like reeves did in the 'matrix'? well, i won't do it. period.
- Very, very funny comedic performance by Okamura, adorned by the lovely presence of Wakana Sakai in her first(?) film performance. Also notable for Candy Lo's performance and the relatively brief appearance of Yuen Biao. Simply put: a light, fun movie. (As always, potential viewers can safely ignore the more xenophobic of Amazon reviews....)
