2 comments about Intimate Confessions of a Chinese Courtesan.
- For years, I have always loved movies from the Shaw Brothers Studio Company. And it 2002 when Celestial Pictures, a hong kong based company, bought the rights to the movies, 750 out of 1,000 of them, and were going to get full restoration treatment, I was overjoyed. The problem? The movies would only be released in the Asia market, with no American distribution in sight. The only recourse was buying VCD versions just to be able to view the movies. (Asian DVD movies are encoded in R3, not playable on US DVD players.) But, in the last year Shaw movies have been getting US releases, although too few for my taste. Thank you, Image Entertainment. Thank you, Dragon Dynasty. And now, Tokyo Shock has gotten into the fold. As for "Intimate Confession of a Chinese Courtesan" this was a movie I have long waited for. As Celestial dug up various movies, this was one of hundred I discovered. With the cover, showing two women embracing only told you what kind of movie it is. But unlike erotic Asian movies, this one is fairly tame. Unlike another Shaw exploitation movie called, "Bamboo House of Dolls." There are a couple girl to girl kissing scenes, and various naked girls with ugly dudes, but nothing at the level of movies today.
The plot is basically about a corrupt brothel who steals women and sells them into prostitution. The madam, played by the beautiful Lily Ho, prefers only women for intimacy and comes across a fiery girl, played by Betty Pei Ti, as she grows quite fond of her. Betty on the other hand fights against the system, trying to retain her freedom. But when a failed escape arises and a male servant is killed in the process, Betty conforms as Lily's lover and a call girl at the brothel. But under deception, Betty gets revenge of the men who violated her and eventually going after the madam.
As I originally watched, it became more of a martial art movie then what I expected. A pleasant surprise. The movie is shot quite beautifully and the performances are top notch. The story does drag a bit, but the ending is absolutely priceless. Don't be surprised if you yell back at the TV. I know I continually do.
This movie is in 2.35 anamorphic widescreen, with both the original Cantonese dialog and a surprising English dub. The enthusiast in me prefers the original audio with subtitles, but the lazy in me loves the English dub. Both are great experiences as the dubbed version is surprisingly well done.
If you love old school kung fu movies and particular Shaw Brother movies, you can't lose with this dvd. An Intimate DVD of a Confessed movie lover.
- This is a very different type of Shaw Brothers martial arts film. It reminded me of Lady Snowblood, so if you liked that, then I would definitely recommend this. Betty Tei Pei plays a brothel owner, and she is a very evil woman. She could care less about men, and only loves women. When she gets in a new batch of prostitutes, she meets one that she likes. Lily Ho plays the prostitute, and she's a tough little woman, which is why the Madam likes her so much. Yes, they do makeout, and it is awesome. The story has Lily Ho taking revenge on all the men she had to sleep with when she first came to the brothel, and it's a pretty simple story. The acting from Betty Tei Pei is AMAZING, and it is a good overall movie, and has an amazing ending. It's directed by Chor Yuen, and as exepcted, it is a beautiful film to look at. Chor Yuen worked very hard and put in a lot of detail to make sure that his movies had a unique look.
The swordplay is quite good for 1972, and it gets pretty bloody.
Rating- 4/5
The picture quality on the Image DVD is pretty much perfect, and both the English and Chinese language tracks sound great. Image Entertaiment has included the English dub on their last 3 Shaw Brothers releases. I sure hope they continue this trend.

5 comments about Street Fighter Alpha - The Movie.
- I won't bore you with a story summary, or a plot analysis (you can find that in the 'Product Description'). Anyone looking into this anime is interested in only one thing: the action. Street Fighter Alpha pits characters from the game into plenty of jaw-dropping, smoothly animated fight scenes. Anyone familiar with the video games will see some of their favorite characters pull off their signature moves. The visuals are really impressive and the action amazes. If you're aiming for an anime action fix, this will probably do it...especially for Street Fighter fans.
The only thing about this movie that may disappoint a Street Fighter fan (besides lack of character development) is the absence of certain star characters of the game, such as M. Bison and Guile.
For the SF fans who are curious about who actually made the cut:
- Ryu and Ken obviously play a big part.
- Chun Li also plays a big role in the movie.
- Akuma (Gouki) makes a brief appearance in the beginning and closing credits.
- Zangief makes a single appearance, and battles Blanka and Ryu in a short but interesting fight.
- Sakura doesn't participate in any fighting, but acts as an annoying side character instead.
- Rose appears as a mystical sage, and doesn't fight in the movie either.
- Dan, Adon, Sodom, and Birdie also make brief fighting appearances as well.
- Most of the battles include Ryu's little brother, Shin. The final battles include characters i've never seen from the games before, but I'm not particularly a big fan either (only played the earlier versions back in the day). They may have been in the newer games.
So, if you're solely looking for an action anime, which happens to be devoid of any plot or character development, then you should enjoy this. Hope this review helps.
- This film I thought was alright. I did get to see Zangief fight some little kid which was hilarious and the animation is fairly good in my opinion. But other then that this film dissapointed me a little for these reasons: The lack of characters and the characters that did show up had very short scenes other then Ryu, Ken, and Chun Li which I guess why there were not much cameos they concentrated on the most popular characters in the whole Street Fighter series, I never heard of the main villain, confusing story that never showed up in the Alpha games, sentimental story line, and most importantly of all not enough fighting and the fight scenes that did show up were really short. Oh yeah another reason is Akuma's crappy cameo and how can they kill off one of the characters in the game even if he is not that popular unless that was apart of his orginal story line in the first Street Fighter game and thats why he did not show up in any of the other sequels of Street Fighter. But at least I got to see Zangief beat up a little kid. Stick to the games any other media of Street Fighter dissapoints if your a big fan of the games. Nothing I hate more then changing the orginal storys of characters.
- in all my DECADES been a streetfighter fan, and phylosophy follower, is the best anime explaining the warrior insights! PD: only for true warriors....
- feels short.. I wish it was longer.. it looks great... I don't know maybe it was me.. something different. comparet to the original street fighter.. I would be it again if I had to . I love street fighter back since 92'
- This movie was good, way better than the series as far as the story line goes. Anime is great.

5 comments about Seven Steps of Kung Fu.
- to start this off this does have some indescrepencies like the beginning the cast credits just disappear and your just looking at chinese scenery for fun and the underdubbing but it has some greta lines in this movie. and plus this film was directed by the kid who played ko fang in iron swallow co-satrring the beuatiful and tough kung fu queen judy lee aka chia ling and the fight choreography was done by tommy lee (a personal favorite of mine for fight choreogrphers).
this story starts off as a ruthless general and crime boss (chen shan) of a dreaded clan by the name of the "5 hands gang". the 5 hands gang (lung fei, barry chan, tommy lee, wong chi sang and a female actor) meet at on the member's house. then a mischievious young man by the name of young tiger (ricky chi tien chee) discovers a valuable metal after one member drops it (tommy lee). so he practices with it hanging from a fighting pole and then his master li san pei (chia kai) discovers it and automatically recognizes it and was shocked that he caught up with them so fast. so later tommy lee discovers his metal is missing and they find out that it was the young boy who finds and li is his master. so the spearman (wong chi sang) pays a visit to young tiger's house and they duel it out and young tiger kills him. li san pei shows up and tells him he should hide elsewhere and he'll investigate only to be ambushed by the rest of the gang and he miraculously survives the attack and later escapes to young tiger's hideout. he recovers and they master the art of the "7 step style" (1 of the finest training sequences ive ever seen with a little high speed action). then the female member discovers their hideout and she later gets ambushed and they make her realize that she's a traitor so she tells them everything. so 1 by 1 they ambush the rest of the gang starting with barry chan, then tommy lee. then in 1 seen where the english dubs turn into mandarin or cantonese li san pei takes on lung fei's character but he is spared in this movie and turns good. and young tiger takes on 2 lamas that carries out lung fei's and the general's orders on a scroll which is valuable to stopping the general's devious plans. then li san pei uses the metals they collected to distract the general from reaching his destination and then the fun starts with the final fight scene between 2 greatly talented and kung fu masters in chia kai and shen chan then ricky chi tien chee hops into the action making it kinda corny but still fun to watch. a underrated and underappreciated classic that should be in your top 50 indeed.
favorite scenes: chia kai vs. lung fei, ricky chi tien chee vs. wong chi sang, ricky chi tien chee and chia kai's training sequence and of course the final battle.

favorite scenes: chia kai vs. lung fei, ricky chi tien chee vs. wong chi sang, ricky chi tien chee and chia kai's training sequence and of course the final battle. and chia kai steals the show in this one and he is labeled the lee van cleef of martial arts films but most of everything he's been in he's been underused. i am a big fan of his because of this movie and his acting ability is ill too
- I should give it a 3, but good fights all around and an AWESOME final scene give it a kung fu 5.
Now the kids review deserves to be the only review on here. I bought this based on one guys comments of how he saw this in the theatre and everybody was screaming for the hook technique one more time and damned if he didnt't give it to us one more time!!!
I really got a feeling of what it would have been like to see the hot the cool the viscuos on the big screen. But this movie hliterally has fight after fight. Nowlike i said, that kid below should have the only review on here, he did an awesome job. i know these guys names like the back of my hand but he was able to spot tommy lee in this and a bunhc of guys that I have never even heard of he knew exactly who they are. But most importantly he knows who chen shan is(aka shen chan, chang shan). This is only the 4th movie I have EVER seen him in. The others are five fighters from shaolin, shaloin vs. lama, and shaolin strikes back. Most people know him as the badass tibetan lama from shaolin vs. lama. Now he is absolutely unrecognizeable in this, until he fights, don't try to pull the wool over my eyes. he has a move in the final scene when he goes down to do the splits, and 2 people attack him, he is fighting with both WHILE HE IS COMING UP FROM THE SPLITS.
Don't try to imagine but you will see. So the story is pretty dreary. A kid and his teacher have to take out this gang. And ALL the fights are good. Lung Fei is especially good. But the final fight is UNBELIEVABLE.
AND KID WHO REVIEWED THIS BEFORE ME, IS TONG LONG IN THIS?? I DIDN'T SEE HIM, HE IS THE GUY WHO WAS BRUCE;S VROTHER IN GAME OF DEATH 2. CAN YOU PLEASE POINT HIM OUT TO ME.
So the pictrue quality is kind of bad. No real distortion, just really faded. And it does cut into the chinese dub for dialogue for 20 seconds, but you could tell it was a stupid part. IT IS widescreened which was very nice. Some other comments said it would not play? I have 7 dvd players and I tried them all so I could comment here and the dvd played fine at all. I got this for 9.99 and have to say that you should not pay over like 7 for it. 1 for each step.
AWESOME FIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!
- Sorry, the movie was not seen because it did not have sound to it. It was returned for refund.
- I make sure I watch a movie twice before giving a definite opinion on it.After watching this one I can tell you its not worth buying and maybe not worth renting.Me being a martial arts fan,I like seeing movies I havent seen to see if I find a classic. However with this movie that is just not the case.Whats sad is this movies has some good fighting scenes and I love the old school kung fu movies.Whats better is no one is untouchable and everyone from the stars to the locals get hit in this movie.
But this movie suffers from a corny storyline like many other non classics. It also talks about the seven steps of kung fu and never explain what they actually are.On top of that the whole movie is just a bunch of 2 on 1 fighting.Either the master comes to the aid of the student,or the student comes to the aid of the master. Its okay on the very tough opponents, but all of the 5 hands gang?It gets boring watching 2 on 1 and knowing that eventually the 1 guy will lose.
I like watching the good guys fight 1 on 2 as those are the best scenes.Or the good guys fighting a guy with extraordinary skill at the end of the movie. So as a kung fu fan I can tell you that this is not worth your money. If you can then look for it in a game exchange for a bargain price, then you can return when you see you've wasted your money.Due to the good fighting scenes it earned at least a 3,it also wasnt the worst movie.Just not a classic that you keep and watch over and over again.

5 comments about House of Flying Daggers [UMD for PSP].
- As others have warned, Sony seriously botched the job on this film's transfer to Blu-ray... so bad that it seems irresponsible to be selling this far inferior product when compared to the regular DVD. Until Sony reissues a remastered version, don't waste your money!
- I like this movie a lot, so I thought why not getting it in the highest video format presently available (I already have one in DVD format). I am greatly disappointed. I do not know how Sony can produce such junk for the format they brag so much about the picture quality.
Don't bother with this version on the movie!
-
Government Solider Jin was sent to find, and capture, the head of the Flying Daggers; a rebel group bent on destroying the Government. Jin found the daughter of the head the Flying Daggers, a beautiful young blind girl named Mei. She's the key to finding where the rebel group is based. But Jin, quite the Casanova, never though he's actually fall in love with her....
So begins The House of Flying Daggers, a beautiful movie that'll sweep you up in the first beginning moments, and leave you in tears in the final minutes. With a beautiful Score, breathtaking theme song sung by Opera star Kathleen Battle, superb Cast, and stunning visuals, this movie will sweep you off your feet.
Takashi Kaneshiro plays Jin, a head Soldier in the Government sent to find, as I said above, the head of a rebel group. Takashi is Asia's Johnny Depp; he has the looks, and talent to prove it. His acting as the Casanova Jin will have you laughing in the beginning, and swooning in the middle as he falls for the person he's been sent to capture.
Ziyi Zhang (Memoirs of a Geisha, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) plays Mei, a blind young woman who is the daughter of the leader of the Flying Daggers. Ziyi will captivate you as soon as she steps on the screen. She draws and sucks you in, as if she very well casts a spell on you. Her acting, like her beauty, is flawless.
And don't forget top notch actor, Andy Lau who plays Takashi's head superior. I don't won't to spoil to much, but there are secrets and twists surrounding this character that'll leave you shocked and breathless.
Shigeru Umebayashi has made a beautiful soundtrack indeed, which will have you closing your eyes and listening, believing you're in China yourself. Without a doubt you'll want to go out and buy the soundtrack for yourself, and listen to the breathtaking sounds. Kathleen Battle, world renowned Opera singer, lends her voice to a beautiful heart wrenching ending song. While I'm not a big Opera fan, this song is so full of sadness and emotion, it'll leave you with a sob ready to escape your throat.
The visuals are stunning, the costumes gorgeous and mind blowing. Action scenes are wonderfully choreographed, and sweeping camera angles are gorgeous.
As for questionable material (for you parents) there is no foul language, the action scenes are done tastefully without gore. There are a few sensual scenes, but nothing is really shown.
Before I finish this review, I must warn against one thing. The plot twists are so mind blowing, so shocking, this movie will leave you with your mouth hanging open. The Ending sequence will leave you in tears, so be forewarned....
- I can't decide which I like better, the story or the beautiful costuming, settings, music, etc. And then there's the exquisite dancing and breathtaking action, precisely and interestingly choreographed. The story is about a woman, on an extremely important mission, who falls in love with the enemy. However, she was already bound to another man. Enter the classic love triangle but this is so beautifully told, it is nothing like a soap opera plot. The ending is both sad and happy, which I also love in movies. I give this five stars and highly recommend it.
- This movie is must have for anyone who enjoys great storyline and magnificent special effects and gorgeous background sceneries. IMO, this movie is up to par with Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero!
This is must have for Kung Fu movie fanatics like me!

5 comments about Kung Phooey!.
- first. this movie is thee funniest movie i have watched in 2005. the funniest. People who call this movie stupid and cheesy might as well be born in 2000, the year crappy comedies just kept going crappier. This isnt some owen wilson "cool-talking" comedy or ben stillers random shaking. Its a chris farley type movie this one is. or at least thats the best way to compare. Kung pow was stupid funny, but this one is so much more funny. they got some pretty funny names and the stero-type jokes towards asians are funny. As for fight scenes, each one is different and doesnt tell the same joke. Really it doesnt, even i thought it was going to do the same routine, but i was clearly wrong. What i'm trying to get at is that this is a good movie to watch because you'll laugh off your seat and keep laughing till the end. You wont be burdened with a timeless plot, cg effects, A class actors; this is the present comedy movie of past that wont come in the near future.
- Kung Phooey is a slap stick comedy poking campy humour and parody at kung fu movies and the series Kung Fu.
Art Choo (thats his name, not a sneeze) has come from the Shirley Temple of China all the way to his releatives in America to seek an ancient peach that contains powers of youth. But his new nemises Sue She is also looking for the peach, along with her two side kicks, the big guy, Wun Tonne and the little guy Loe Fat. Art teams up with a Chinease/American who trys to be American over Chinease, and an African American, Leroy (Roy Lee) who want's to be Bruce Lee but has no skills.
The movie is fun, pokes fun at Chinease stereo types (by the Chinease!) kung fu movies and is sure to get a laugh out of fans of this kind of thing. The cover says it's like Austin Powers, not really, but in some ways it is. AP pokes fun at Bond movies, this one pokes fun at Kung Fu movies.
Overall, it's worth a rent at least. It's a funny and entertaining independent film that will be up there in my collection along side movies like, Kung Pow, American Ninja and even Airplane, Naked Guns, Hot Shots ect...
The thing I dont understand is why this film in America has an R rating? It's 12 in UK, PG or M Australian, and G Canada... yet an R in America? It has no swearing, no nudity, no sexual content thats inapropriot for kids. I really think it's a PG 13 movie.... and no, it's not voilent and there is no blood or gore.
I need a glass of WATAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
- This movie is ok, the humor is slap stick and dry, to the point where at first it is funny, but stupid and pointless. The whole movie is a parody of the whole kung fu movie genre and the people of this ethnic background.
The acting is mediocre, the actors are very B-list, or maybe C. The plot of the movie is simple and worthless, there are no or little fighting scenes, there will be funny moments at times, reference to many things, very simple and entertaining.
Overall ok movie, not the best movie, but delivers entertainment for the whole family, even though it is rated "R", for no reason.
- This is an awesome slapstick comedy for those who like to get some laughs. It's about time a comedy was made for the Chinese American generation! I can relate to the humor and the culture of the story. I hope they come out with Kung Phooey II!
- If Mel Brooks was into old Kung Fu movies instead of old Westerns, this would be the result.

5 comments about Fearless (Unrated Full Screen Edition).
- Category: Movies
Genre: Foreign, Martial Arts
Movie Title: Jet Li's Fearless
Movie Release: 2006
Director: Ronny Yu
Writing Credits: Chris Chow, Christine To
On DVD?: Yes
Summation: Slated to be Jet Li's last martial arts film, Fearless takes us on a journey of life and love and all that that encompasses.
Synopsis: The movie starts in Shanghai, China, 1910. Because of Huo Yuanjia's (Jet Li) impressive martial arts skills, he is being pitted against four competitors who represent the four strongest nations: Britain, Spain, Germany and Japan. The rules are that the first to fall or to admit his defeat is the loser. First up at bat is a British boxer. Yuanjia defeats him. Next up at bat is a German soldier. Yuanjia defeats him. Next up at bat is a Spanish swordsman. Yuanija defeats him. Last up at bat is a Japanese martial arts master. It is here that the movie breaks away from the competition to take us through the life of Huo Yuanjia.
As a young boy, Yuanjia watched his father, a martial arts teacher, as he battled his way through several formidable enemies. On one particular day, Yuanjia's father is slated to fight another martial arts teacher, and it seems that the purpose of these fights is to see which teaching style bests the other. Yuanjia's father has the upperhand, and with one striking blow, he could easily kill his opponent. Yet, he decides not to, which allows his opponent to defeat him. Yuanjia's father admits defeat and walks off. Yuanjia, however, sulks, ashamed of his father. His childhood friend, Nong Jinsun (Yong Dong), attempts to console him, but that doesn't help. The son of the winner begins to taunt him, they decide to fight and, of course, Yuanjia loses. It is shortly after this fight that Yuanjia vows to never lose another fight
Thus starts Yuanjia's journey as a martial artist, defeating so many opponents that he allows his status as "master" to get to his head. He opens a school to teach others who are willing to learn his teaching style, but he's a bit of an alcoholic, and he welcomes too many students into his school that are only using him for profit. Soon, he finds himself in debt. And, as he does with each time he is confronted, he promises that he will repay the debt.
One night, however, several of his apprentices bring one of their classmates to Yuanjia. This classmate has been beaten, almost senseless, and it is found out that Master Qin, one of Yuanjia's rivals, is behind the beating. Without all of the facts, Yuanjia starts a fight with Master Qin, eventually killing him. Afterwards, Qin's nephew kills Yuanjia's mother and daughter, and Yuanjia kills him before leaving Shanghai. Without giving away too much, Yuanjia meets more characters and is taught the true meaning of life.
Personal Thoughts: The tagline as posted on IMDB.com says "Fate made him a warrior. Courage made him a hero."
This movie was intense. The martial arts were choreographed perfectly, giving way to smooth, fluent strokes: arm and leg movements, hand and eye coordination, etc. The martial arts aside, however, the personal journey of Yuanjia was an inspiring tale in and of itself. And, unlike most foreign movies that use American dubbing (I hate when the words aren't aligned with the movement of the mouth. It makes the character(s) appear ignorant.), Fearless uses the characters' spoken language and American subtitles. That, I believe, makes the movie more authentic, more realistic, for me. Much like The Passion of the Christ, viewers are able to experience the culture as it was intended, and with Fearless, viewers are encouraged to understand Yuanjia's personal journey. We, the viewers, are able to sympathize with Yuanjia; when he cries, we cry. This is truly a must-see; hence, 4 stars.
- I love Jet Li's Fearless. It is a fantastic movie. However, when they released it to DVD they seem to have felt to insult us as consumers by forcing us to sit through the sexual raunchiness of an American Pie preview.
Jet Li's Fearless was a PG-13 action/drama film. American Pie is an R-rated film with strong sexual content. What makes Universal think that their PG-13 action/drama consumers want to be forced to sit through a raunchy sexual preview for an R-rated film?
It's absolutely gross and unacceptable.
- I love chinese action movies and this movie was good and action scene was very exciting. Jet Li was my favorite chinese star. Also the story was good.
- The Director's Cut of Jet Li's Fearless, which runs 37 minutes longer and is generally regarded as the definitive version, is finally being released on official Region 1 DVD. At 141 minutes, it fleshes out the story more, makes some points more clear, and includes several more minutes of martial arts action, most notably a scene where the hero battles a Thai fighter. A subplot featuring Michelle Yeoh is restored.
The upcoming release isn't a special edition, and there won't be many special features. The two-disc set will include the Director's Cut, the PG-13 US theatrical cut (103 minutes), and the only slightly different unrated US version (104 minutes). The last two are already available on the current Region 1 DVDs. The special features are similar to those on the current DVDs, the featurette "A Fearless Journey" (16:04) and some cut scenes (reportedly more than one--there was only one deleted scene on the previous Region 1 releases).
It will be in 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen, with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround, Mandarin Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround, and optional English subtitles.
Fearless is the highly fictionalized story of the real-life Huo Yuanjia (or Yuan Jia), a hero of Chinese martial arts who died almost a century ago. The son of a wise martial arts champion who refuses to teach him, Huo teaches himself by, among other things, watching his father train. Lacking his father's humility, he is a most skilled fighter but commits shameful acts that, when he finally sees their devastating consequences and recognizes his failings, drive him to become an aimless wanderer. Through the kindness of humble people he recovers and eventually redeems himself in several dramatic ways.
This is a high-budget, beautifully produced martial arts film that will be enjoyed by more than the usual martial arts fan. Though it doesn't have quite the same pretensions, those who enjoyed Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or Hero and don't mind a fair amount of violence will probably also enjoy this.
If you don't have Fearless on DVD yet and can wait until July, you'll probably want to get the Director's Cut, especially since the shorter US cuts are also included.
No Blu-ray edition has been announced, but it will undoubtedly arrive eventually.
The Amazon page to pre-order the Region 1 Director's Cut is here.
- This was by far my favorite Jet Li film. It really was great. The action had (of course) some rather unrealistic parts, but that is rather inevitable. But the storyline is actually quite good. Predictable to a certain degree, but still very good. The progression of the character of the protagonist was laudable. I thoroughly enjoyed this film. With this version you get the original film, and the Unrated version. The unrated version is the same as the original except that there is more blood and violence. Several shots of blood gushing or arms actually snapping. So whether you want the gore or not, this DVD has both, great buy!

1 comments about THE GREEN HORNET Vol. 2 FURY OF THE DRAGON.
- If you are a die-hard Green Hornet fan and have to have them get the movie one. It is like 3 episodes cut together into a movie but very well done and very pleasant to the eyes and ears. Only get these if you must. By these I mean now that someone has sold all they can of the complete Green Hornet from the same Action Network cuts, it appears someone is repackaging them to look studio like. Still A.N. and poor in quality. If you read the new Batman 1966 release the same can be said for the Action Network release of the 66 batman series. Oh, and so no one thinks that I think Action Network released any dvds I simply mean the Action logo is on the playback as you get with most of the networks which broadcast shows today. So, as I said on another review let the buyer beware, It could be better than none as we do not know when the studio will release it, if ever.
