3 comments about Shinobi No Mono.
- Great series this is the most realistic Ninja series that you will ever see. There are (8)movies in this series I just wish they would've released the whole series together in a box set. This is a most own for any fan of Ninja movies. Raizô Ichikawa who is the star of this series is one of my favorite Actors he is just awesome in this series.
- My review of "Shinobi No Mono" will not only be about the film itself, but the entire series. A friend of mine who is from Japan, but lives here in the USA now, lent me these films, and I will have to state right up front, these are the most realistic films of the ninja that I have ever seen. If you know of any other ones, I'd like to know their titles. These films are ALL in black and white, and were released in the early to mid 1960s. How realistic are these films? Glad you asked. Well, for starters from what I understand, the technical and historical adviser to these films was none other than Toshitsugu Takamatsu, who was a Grandmaster of the Togakure-Ryu Ninjutsu Ryu [School]. Moreover, the fight directions were supervised by the ninjitsu master Hatasumi Masaki. How's that for a ninja film? Sure, there are some pretty cool films depicting ninjas, "Azumi" for one is a great and fun film that entertains. However, if you want realism in your films, then these are the ones.
Forget about the ninjas jumping up to a 100 foot cliff, or jumping down a 500 foot mountain battling 150 adversaries while dodging 100 shurikens thrown at him--this is the real deal here. And while there are some fun ninja films around, none of them packs the excitement that this series does. There are 8 films in all which compromise the entire series. [I understand that there was a 9th film, but without actor Raizo Ichikawa--I wouldn't know however, as I did not see this one] The films main character in this first film, and the rest to follow is portrayed by the late actor Raizo Ichikawa as the protagonist Ishikawa Goemon, who belongs to the Fujibayashi clan of Shinobi, and Yohachi of the Momichi clan. A little background is necessary: First, the warlord Oda is waging war against all the Shinobi, and as such, they are at war with him. These clans however are trying to vie to be the ones to kill the tyrannical Lord Nobunaga Oda (Tomisaburo Wakayama) [of "Lone Wolf and Cub" fame]. This first film is complicated and much attention must be paid to it. Also, the second one in the series is even more complicated. However, if you stick with them they are well worth the time spent.
Lord Nobunaga Oda is waging war against ALL the Shinobi. I cannot tell you too much about Goemon's character as it will give too much away, so I will tell you that he does something which incurs the wrath of his clan leader, and in order to redeem himself he must kill Lord Nobunaga Oda. The film is pretty complicated as the clan leader or Goemon portrays several characters and you have a difficult time on first viewing to understand a lot of what is going on. There is confusion with his character, and you will notice this when you watch the first episode, I do not wish to divulge it. However, it can be a little complicated. Yet, as you get into the further episodes, things really come together. There are some really cool and realistic scenes however, where Goemon tries to kill Lord Oda, like the poison on a string while he is up in the rafters while the Lord is asleep. And since the Lord will be around for the upcoming films, well you get the point. From what I understand, the actors actually had to go through some sort of training in the film in order to give credence to the fight scenes. Plus, there are some great scenes with the ninja and their weapons of choice--complete with smoke bombs, disguises, decoy animals, Shurikens, and many other weapons.
As you watch the entire series unfold on the TV screen, YOU JUST KNOW that the director Satsuo Yamamoto wanted this to be the BEST ninja film ever. The films narrative is done with class, and the films themselves deal with the real life warlord Oda Nobunaga who was an historical figure in Japanese history. And the films narrative is revolved around him. Therefore, there is SOME truth in the films. However, there is a lot of fiction as well. But it's great to see a film where the director tries to employ historical themes to go along with the narrative. Now, I will be the first to admit that the film lacks cohesion in many parts, especially those concerning Goemons character, but as you get further into the series, you find that this is a really good series.
I have not seen any ninja films depicted like these 8 episodes, and quite honestly I do not understand why not. These films are IMPORTANT, and they stand up extremely well into the present. Some will not like these films as there are many complicated plots, and not enough 'suspension of disbelief' that one finds in todays modern ninja films, and that's okay. However, for those who like their films with more authenticity, then I HIGHLY recommend the first film, and more importantly the entire series when they become available; which I am sure they are bound to be. Also, the films have some really terrific cinematography, even on the films I viewed which are in no way in the same caliber as the ones Animeigo produces. The first film is titled "Band of Assassins." My particular favorite ones were [the first--because it got me into the series] and the fourth episode "Mist Saizo." But they must ALL be seen in order to appreciate these films.
Do not let the first film discourage you from viewing the others. If you are not used to films in black and white, or earlier films of the Chambara genre, then give these a chance. Actually, I am quite amazed that it took so long for these films to become noticed here in the USA. These are really good films dealing with realistic depictions of the ninja. Anyway, suffice it to say that those who love samurai films, and Japanese films in general will like these films. If you like Kurosawa's samurai films, then your going to like these. I'm not kidding! Once again, there are eight films in all. They are as follows: #1.Band Of Assassins #2. Return Of The Band Of Assassins #3. Goemon Will Never Die #4. Mist Saizo #5. Return Of Mist Saizo #6. The Last Iga Spy #7. Mist Saizo Strikes Back #8. The Three Enemies. The VHS and DVD films that I viewed did not have very good subtitles according to my Japanese friend. However, knowing that Animeigo has a high standard in their sub-title transfers, I am sure that this series will get its proper respect. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. [Stars: 5+]
- Enjoyed this movie. Good to see a picture of Raizo Ichikawa when he was young.

5 comments about Battle Warrior.
- I was first introduced to Tony Jaa in the film The Protector, which I enjoyed very much. When I came across Battle Warrior, with the 2007 release date, I was really looking forward to watching the movie but was very disappointed. This movie was produced in 1996, although you'd never know it from the DVD printing. In fact, I had to search the internet for information about this film since I simply could not believe this was actually a Tony Jaa film, it's so bad...
Yes, the movie is campy and old-style dubbed, and it's entertaining to some degree because of it. However, it's actually very boring and poorly filmed. Some of the scenes are so dark you can't see anything that's going on.
Bottom line is, if you can stomach the lousy filming, mediocre fight scenes, and almost no Tony Jaa, you might enjoy this movie. Otherwise, I would say the promotional statements on the DVD documentation are down-right and purposefully deceptive as to the date of this film. It will not stop me from purchasing other Tony Jaa movies (his fighting style is simply amazing) - but I will be more careful in the future about any further releases. The Protector is a keeper. Battle Warrior ended up in the "don't bother viewing again" section of my DVD library.
- This movie is a piece of garbage. First of all it is grossly mis-advertised. The plot description on the back of the DVD cover makes it sounds as if Tony Jaa is the hero of the movie protecting an artifact from bad guys, when in fact the exact opposite is true. Tony Jaa is a bad guy who has about 7 minutes of screen time. As for the plot, it makes less than no sense, the dubbing is horrific (I noticed the voices for one character changing through out the movie), at one point the dubbing just stops for a few minutes. There are zombies, black goblins, a big German guy named Smith, and for those who appreciate the art of bad cinema, this is a gem. I admit your brain needs to be wired a certain way to find this kind of thing funny, but if it is, you'll be laughing for days.
- This is the worst movie I had ever watched in my entire life. The plot was so poor as well as the actions. The filmed was poorly made and I believe back in 1996, there were quality movies have been made but this does not qualify a bit to be one. Where is Tony by the way ! Zombies in the jungle, tribemen and rebel-like soldiers,,,wow what a waste. I can say the budget was about 10-25K US$ or maybe less. Where can you find a golden stone treasure that even the King of Jordan and Prince of Saudi would like to buy it for 1B US$ which only lies beside the riverbank where the rebels live. One more, an almost hundred rebel soldier attacked by 2-3 good guys and yet the explosion is everwhere as if they were attacked by vietcongs..
Those who are fan of Tony Jaa, never ever try renting, buying or even watching this movie. The cover was deceptively made to fool the consumers. Too dark, too slow, extremely poor movie. ZERO rating for me.
- If you saw Ong Bak or the Protector, don't be assuming your going to see that stuff here. I still haven't been able to watch more than 20 min because even if you listen to the Thai audio track, the mouths are out of sync.
- I purchased this DVD on impulse, having enjoed two other Tony Jaa action flicks. WHAT AN ERROR!
This DVD is so bad, if I could rate it lower than one star, I would. I could not stomach this travesty beyond 20 minutes.
The dubbing is HORRIBLE. The camera work is HORRIBLE. The story line is MORONIC and I have no hope for any ACTION in this grainy, colorless, DVD.
Tony Jaa is a minor character here...where as ONG-BAK actually STARS jaa, and IS a very good movie.

5 comments about TaeBo II: Get Ripped Advanced Workout.
- You must burn a good 600-800 calories doing one of these workouts. They are amazing, they have it all- fast paced but still accessible- fun, great music and motivation from Billy- and good technique tips. I have being doing it once a day and I'm completely pooped when I'm done. These are just as tiring as running 5 or 6 miles! If you want to burn major calories while keeping your mind focused, these workouts are for you. I love taebo because they are one of the most, if not the most, difficult home exercise programs, yet they are also the most interesting! You change moves often so that you never get bored. And every part of your body gets worked. Definitely the best Tae bo series out there!
- I've been doing Tae-Bo for a couple of years now but only had 3 of the videos. I wanted to try something cardio and this gave me what I was looking for. I wanted something challenging, not wimpy, that would make me feel like I'd done a workout. This definently did. Some workout videos you watch and do simply because you want to burn off the massive serving of chinese food you had for dinner (or breakfast). That's the mentality I usually adopt, but this workout dvd made me want to continue doing it not only because it was fun and challenging, but because it made me feel strong. It made me feel like I was doing something good for myself. Instead of wanting to call it quits, I wanted more. Not all the people in the class are especially good at tae-bo or extremely slim, so there's someone in the class that everyone can identify with. I found some moves extremely difficult and others easy. I would say that some people might find this DVD discouraging the first couple of times they try it, but as long as you do like 60% of it, you're still getting a major workout. Some of the stuff is really hard, so it's a DVD you can spend a lot of time with and not get bored.
Bad Things:
1. As you near the end of the workout it seems that Billy wants to throw in some outrageous moves that have no correlation to getting your body fit and toned, you feel ridiculous while doing them, they are hard to catch on to, and you only do them for about a minute. Annoying!
2. The 2 poor old people look like they're about to pass out the whole time. They make me cry.
3. The people in the back seem to be more new to it, which is nice, but they're not that great to watch for good form.
4. Billy shows off and it's annoying. He jumps around really crazily and you're like, "where did that just come from?"
5. 2-Minute speech Billy does at the end is wack and too long. "Will" does not equal "Wheel".
Interesting Fact: On the Tae-Bo website Billy answers a question about how many calories you burn during a Tae-Bo workout. The answer is that depending on your weight, age, intensity of the workout, etc. you most likely burn between 200-400 calories per 1/2 hour of Tae-Bo you do.
Tae-Bo's the way baby.
- This workout is very challenging and I love it. I have other workout DVDs and videos, but this one is by far the best. It really gets your blood pumping!
- This product DOES make you sweat, and it works, i don't really follow diets and still maintained to lose plenty of weight. I don't own a scale, but I lost two pant sizes. And im still loosing weight. I just started a month ago. I love it.
- Like other taebo videos it is a really good workout, but the video is not great. He frequently forgets to repeat sequences on both sides, the people doing the workout make tons of mistakes and randomly take water breaks in the middle. You will definately get a good workout but i was upset how expensive it was because he clearly just taped one of his classes and did not do any editing.

2 comments about Ultimate Fighting Championship, Vol. 66 - Liddell vs. Ortiz.
- Nice fight card. UFC 66 put the exclamation point on 2006. 9 skilled bouts, including some top fighters. With that said I gave UFC 66 a 5 star rating because of some surprises, and the headliner was worth the price of the DVD itself. A classic championship bout that brought out the best in both Chuck & Tito. I highly recommend UFC 66 to any MMA fans.
- This was a solid UFC card all the way around. The fighters were well-matched against each other, with some surprising results. Griffin vs. Jardine was an explosive, albeit relatively short fight; and Leben vs. MacDonald showed how persistance and tenacity pay off.
I admit that I was just as interested in seeing the UFC debut of England's Michael Bisping (following his winning The Ultimate Fighter 3) as I was in watching Liddell and Ortiz come to blows again. Suffice it to say, neither fight disappoints. With the exception of Arlovski and Cruz, there wasn't a fight on this card that I was disappointed in. Highly recommended!

5 comments about Unleashed [HD DVD].
- This was my first Jet Li film and won't be my last. What I expected, I did not get, meaning real fight scenes. What I did not expect, I got, meaning a really touching story.
Danny (Jet Li) was raised by Bart (Bob Hoskins in a unbelievably brutal and inhumane performance) as a dog, a pit bull, to fight when "unleashed." Early on, the director gives the impression that Danny cannot talk, that he really is like a dog. However, the scene with Sam (Morgan Freeman playing Morgan Freeman, a wise and kind man), Danny reveals he is human, he does respond to humane treatment, and that he is a sweet person inside the dog collar. This is the part I love--the touching story.
Sam and his step-daughter Victoria (Kerry Condon), an accomplished pianist, awaken Danny's deeply dormant sweetness and bring him back to life and eventually help him solve the mystery of his life: Who is he? Where does he come from? Where is his mother?
What I expected was violent fighting, but what I saw was skilfully choreographed martial arts. Other reviewers praise this, but it did not look real to me. It looked choreographed. I could literally see them NOT making contact. A much better movie for realistic fighting is "Ong-Bak: A Thai Warrior" with Tony Ja. Now that fighting looks real!
I really like this movie for its story: for the rebirth of a person from brutality, unkindness, vulgarity, violence, skulduggery. What results is a family, love, kindness, compassion, things that make us better than we are. Add to this the soft kiss of a young girl and the sublime music of a concert hall. Danny is unleashed all right, from a poverty of spirit into a largess of love.
What a fine film this is! Highly recommended!
- This was thrilling and disappointing all at once. It takes western martial arts movies to a whole new level, then lets you down gradually, instead of sucking from the very start. As much as I love Jet Li, most of his American movies suck, which is not his fault in the least. Nor is it the fault of his choreographers like Cory Yuen, or in this case, Yuen Woo Ping. These large Hollywood companies just butcher the hell out of the fights in post-production, and this is almost an exception. Does Hollywood believe that that's what we want to see? Six angles for one punch, filmed on a shaky hand-cam? Not me. I hate that. This is still easily Jet's best film since he came to America and blows away crap like "Cradle 2 the Grave" and "The One". Though I must admit that for some reason, I loved "Kiss of the Dragon".
Jet plays Danny, a "dog", raised since childhood by gangster Bob Hoskins to help with collections and other assorted tasks. Hoskins will warn potential deadbeats by threatening to remove Danny's collar, which has a Pavlovian effect on Danny where he knows it's time to kick the tar out of everyone. An accident later leaves Danny injured, wandering, assuming that Hoskins is dead, and into the care of kindly old blind piano-tuner Morgan Freeman and his step-daughter Victoria. Under their influence, Danny starts to come out of his very shy shell and appreciate the nicer things in life, like music, ice cream, warmth (temperature and human), cleanliness, and non-violence. Hoskins isn't dead of course, and Danny will have to fight again for his own freedom.
What bothers me about this movie is that is sets up a silly premise and almost, almost pulls it off. Which wouldn't have bothered me as much if I wasn't so engrossed in Danny's plight. The acting is good all the way around, with an especially impressive performance by Jet. He really pulls off a combination of vicious and deadly under the care of Hoskins, and sweet, shy, and inquisitively wide-eyed under the care of Freeman. It totally sucks you in to the contrasting duality before falling short. It certainly raises some interesting questions about our own feral nature and the effects of civilization. Even more so than Tim Allen's "Jungle 2 Jungle".
The fights are really what attracted me to this, as it should be. After all, this is a Jet Li movie. It likely won't disappoint. All the fights are good, but I am bothered by a film that fails to improve on the opening rumble. The final fight is flawed only by its absurdity of origin, otherwise it rocks. Jet and a bald dude duking it out in a bathroom that's barely larger than a phone booth. These brawls are quite a bit different than any that Jet & Woo Ping have done in the past, together or otherwise. Again, they are over-edited, but in the grainy, dark, "Snatch"-like film quality, they don't suffer as much.
If you like American martial arts films (even though it's technically European), you should see this. It's in a league far beyond most, if not all, in that genre, and nearly transcends several others too... but not quite.
- Unleashed (Unrated Widescreen Edition)
This is a great DVD featuring an incredible movie. Unleased is probably one of Jet Li's best films, featuring him as a poor, mistreated "slave" fighting for a cruel master. One day he tastes freedom, and the rest is a dramatic roller coaster. The DVD itself is pretty thin on features, but what's there is pretty decent (behind the scenes, fight sequences, etc). Pick it up! For such a low price, you should unleash it on your home theatre!
- Not at all what i thought it would be like based on other jet li movies. He is a good actor, but this movie is gross and hard to follow much less understand. Surprised Morgan Freeman got involved in this one.
- basically its a story of hope, redemption, and rebirth. Danny(Jet Lee) has been raised as nothing more than an attack dog for his entire life(that he can remember). he has been forced to hurt. forced to kill. he never gets anything in return for the atrocities. he is forced to live in a cage. its the first movie in a while that actually made me care for any characters.
one day a hit is taken out on his owner and company. after things quiet down and the smoke clears Danny is the only man left breathing. he takes his first steps out of the car and to freedom.
He ends up being taken in by a blind Morgan Freeman and his step daughter. their kindness awakens the humanity inside Danny.
i dont want to elaborate on the story beyond that. ill just say this was an amazing movie, and anyone should see it (even non action fans)
great action, great story, great soundtrack, and great acting(the most and best acting ive ever seen from Jet Lee)
apparently the violence was a bit much for some. now, while it was the most brutal violence ive scene in its own stylized subgenre, theres deffinitely more violent fights out there. if the sound of bones bones breaking bothers you, walk away.

5 comments about Volcano High.
- volcano high is an amazing movie. its not intense action, but it also has a great story line. i recommend this one to anyone who has even the slightest interest in knug fu films.
- This is for the Korean version. I didn't think it was funny and was the first martial arts movie that I almost did NOT finish. The "fight" scenes were idiotic with little direct combat but mostly just "energy" gathered from thin air and then thrown at the other person. The movie also had inconsistencies. For example, Jang Ryang, or whatever the long hair guy's name is (that's a joke from the movie-pretty hilarious isn't it?) can't even compete with the substitute teachers and then out of no where he comes in and takes them all on and kills one or two (this is after he has repeated been beaten without laying one hand on any of them). This was such a joke and waste of time. Believe me, there are better!
- I really gave this movie one star because it is the average of four stars that I would have awarded to the Korean version and negative two stars that I generously bestow upon the MTV version. Seriously. You can purchase this DVD, that's fine by me, but after opening the package for the first time please follow these instructions carefully:
1) Locate side A of your DVD which contains the MTV version.
2) Rub vigorously with 60-grit sandpaper until you can no longer see your reflection in that side of the disc.
3) Insert side B of the disc, watch, and enjoy.
Following these steps will prevent you from accidentally witnessing the perversion that MTV has committed in trying to "gangsterize" this film.
- i bought the korean version upon its release years ago.when i seen that MTV was gonna show it and help release it here a few years later.i thought to myself.''here we go again''another movie getting messed up by MTV and some dumb rappers'' i was right.the usa version couldve been better if you left the packaging alone and just subtitled it.and not dubbed it,,,especially with some MTV crappy rappers.i hate MTV more and more every day.they act like they own the entertainment industry.im so glad i got the korean version years ago and kept it with the subtitles and original language.we always seem to have someone mess movies up when we bring them to the usa.congratz MTV FOR SUCKING SO BAD!i suggest anyone interested in this to buy the original and not the MTV rapper crap.
- I don't really have much to say about this version of the film-- except for that fact that it sucked. Having hip hop stars dub over the original voices does not bother me at all. The fact that this movie, which was quite entertaining in its original format, was edited horribly and botched beyond comprehension does bother me, however. I can't believe that people are actually being charged money to see this p.o.s.
Don't buy this unless you get off on wasting money and being disappointed, because this crap fails...big time.

5 comments about Brotherhood of Wolf Director's Cut.
- Great film, great acting, amazing atmosphere, great effects and one hell of a story. Very well made horror/thriller/adventure film, and a pleaure to watch. A very well made film based on the classic tale of the beast. 10/10
- Imagine a fairy tale... but with grit, blood, stylized camerawork, and lots of French kung-fu (savate).
That about sums up "Brotherhood of the Wolf," an epic horror/martial-arts/erotic/action movie loosely based on the French legend of the Beast of Gévaudan, but with a chilling story woven around it. Christophe Gans could have given it a bit more character development, but it's a simple flaw in an otherwise terrifying, intense experience.
An enormous, savage wolflike beast is killing young women and children in the French countryside. And so royal naturalist Grégoire de Fronsac (Samuel Le Bihan) and his Native American sidekick Mani (Mark Dacascos) arrive to investigate, and find that the local authorities are incompetant, the Beast is larger than any wolf, and it's still savaging the locals.
Mani and Grégoire set about tracking down the beast, finding it to be too large and intelligent (and with metal fangs too). But something more sinister than animal attacks is going on -- Fronsac uncovers a mysterious, treasonous society connected to the Beast, and a mysterious, seductive courtesan (Monica Belucci) with hidden motives of her own.
It may be based on a real incident, but "Brotherhood of the Wolf" soon takes off into its own storyline, and relishes every minute. And Christophe Gans crams the whole thing with whatever he likes -- horror, action, fantasy, political period drama, romance, sex, and some French martial arts. It's like an old fairy tale mutated into a live-action anime.
And Gans' direction style can include a little of everything too -- he handles rosy-skied romantic scenes with the same dexterity as raw sex scenes, rainy sludge and bloody chases, including the aftermath of the beast's attacks. And he handles the camera just as well, although the style comes as a bit of a shock in a period film -- it zooms down cliffs and through underbrush, rapid-pans, and lingers on the fairy-tale landscapes of the French countryside.
One of the best examples of this is near the beginning, with Mani and Grégoire encountering a pair of gypsies being bullied, and Mani whipping the bullies with savate and a little la canne. It's a wild, dizzying scene, and thoroughly effective in showing these guys as a force to be reckoned with, even with just their feet, hands and sticks. But at the same time, Gans wraps the beginning and end in a sense of poignant regret, as well as certain scenes of loss.
If there's a flaw, it's that the plot and rich direction take up so much time that it's hard to wedge in some character development. Bihan fares pretty well as the inscrutable taxidermist who finds himself involved in this mess, and over the course of the movie, you develop a liking for him and his girlfriend. But it would have been nice if the characters of Mani and Sylvia were explored a bit more than they were -- as it is, Belucci and Dacascos do amazing jobs with their characters, an earthily beautiful agent and a butt-kicking Iroquois.
The Canadians put out a three-disc deluxe set awhile back, but Americans have been suffering with the bare-bones theatrical release. Fortunately this is being rectified -- it's a two disc set, and apparently will have some cut scenes restored as well as a bunch of other stuff, one presumes.
This horror/action/period/French kung-fu flick breaks all the rules, and it's all the more enjoyable for it. A glorious action classic, and a must-see for cult film lovers.
- fright, horror, torture, death and always lies, lies, lies to build the most powerful empire in the world, even to this day. Well acted period piece. I didn't know who the actors were, but they did a good job. Enjoy!
- Another unknown movie that rocks!
This movie has alot of awesome fight scenes, good action and a tricky story. You won't figure it out until the end. I guarantee it!
Watch "Brotherhood of the Wolf"!!
- Rent,I can't believe this dry movie got so many stars, everytime it look like the movie could be good,a wack twist and plenty more uncalled for talk, plenty of times you forget this is supposed to be scary...ok I'll give it..... a star for the beginning.

- For those who laugh with London, the heiress to the Tipton Hotel at Zack and Cody, this DVD will be a surprise. The story reveals another facet of the actress. Cute, not boring at all. I saw it with my nine-year-old girl.
- It turns out it was sort of not like I had expected. I mean, Wendy never really fought another girl, but a male villian in a girl's body! Still, this movie is quite good.
This movie's about a popular teen who starts to learn that she's a Yin warrior and must train her martial arts skills to defeat a non-mythical creature, Yan-Lo. Yan-Lo keeps going from body to body, searching for this soon-to-be warrior!
So, I give this movie 4 stars. It's probably not the best Disney Channel movie, (like "Read it and Weep,") but let's see how you'll like it!
- Wendy Wu Homecoming Warrior is a positive values entertaining movie for the whole family. My wife, daughter (8) two nephews (14) and I really enjoyed it. Yes the flying on cables and the speeding up of the film speed at times cheesed it up a bit but over all it was still a great movie. It is easy to see that picking two stars for the film who were already taekwondo blackbelts paid off. Brenda Song really did well in this movie and we hope to see her in more future movies. My daughter loves this movie the most. When we first picked it up she did not want to watch it, Once she took a look she wanted to watch it every day for more than a week.
- I ordered 2 videos one from kjsmedia which I will never order from them again. I have never received my video but my credit card was charged but the other one that I purchased from video warehouse I received in 2 days and the kids are enjoying their video.

- Wendy Wu is a pretty good TV Disney movie. The movie is about Wendy Wu, a Chinese American popular high school teenager. Her world changed when a Chinese Monk, Shen, comes to her and tells her she is the reincarnation of a powerful line of Yin female warriors and that she is destined to fight an evil spirit, Yan-Lo. Wendy Wu has to deal with getting a better grade in History, becoming the homecoming queen, reluctant training to be a Yin Warrior and also having Ya-Lo constantly possess people and attack her. All in the day of the average highschooler. Wendy Wu is a fun film for the family, especially the tweens. It is fun, exciting (tons of martial arts) and even has some info about Chinese history and culture. I enjoyed the movie and the younger audience will enjoy it a lot more.
