  1. The dialog reads like a B movie men in black.
The martial arts scenes through out the movie are pretty good:
better than the plot or acting.
The British government has a captured alien of one kind and is working with aliens of another kind. A rogue British army special unit tries to sell
the suppressed alien file to the highest bidder.
Both the aliens and the British government send in reinforcements...
Such a lot of kick boxing in slow motion results.

  1. You may not wanna watch this one with your little brother. Sooo many people die in this movie it's insane. Cool story, plenty of action, original Venoms, need I say more? Sholin gets revenge on Wu Tang, Wu Tang strikes back, back and forth until Wu Tang viscously crosses the line. You have got to see it.

  2. This is another Venoms classic with lots of typical Chang Cheh action. However, it doesn't have the flair of Kid With The Golden Arm and Five Deadly Venoms.

  3. It suffice to say am just a sucker for the venom crew!!!This flick will always remain one of my top 5 favourites!! Lo Meng is da man!! Three words,,,TOUGH, TOUGH, TOUGH!!!!!
I must have watched this flick more than 4 times, and each time seemned like it was the first!!

  4. This is the first movie ever credited to Chin Siu-hou who co-starred with Jet Li in 'Twin Warriors' and 'Fist of Legend'. This story has got all kinds of stuff going down. Pai Mei is looking to take down Shaolin, the Wudang have these flying daggers that Sun Chien will have to take care of, and then heroes like San Te, Fong Sai Yuk, and many others show up. Lo Meng and the acrobatic Chiang Sheng are the main stars. Plenty of fights, though not wall to wall, all of the fights were good. When Lu Feng finally throws down it cannot be missed. Also this is a Chang Cheh film so we know how it is going to end, but we also know that it will be super violent. A guy gets his nuts ripped off, so yes it is certainly a classic Venoms film introducing a new wonderful new player-Chin Siu-hou.

The Red Sun version of this movie is perfectly letterboxed with crystal clear picture and good English dubed sound. So obviously seek out the Red Sun version over the Groundzero.

  5. this is one of the best movies that i've ever added to my collection.it has non-stop action and endless scheming that will make you enjoy watching it over and over. if you want to see a real martial arts movie with non-stop action i highly recommend this movie

  1. Maybe this is more for children already enrolled in Taekwondo so they can practice at home. Not good for introduction or home instruction.

  1. I own several of the "Bruce Li" films starring Ho Chung Tao as a poor substitute for Bruce Lee. The three best ones also star sexy Dana (born Hsam Hsak Yi in 1951). This time she has competition from Lin Yang Yang who is sexy too and has a better figure. These girls and others are nude several times. That is much more interesting than the uninspired fight scenes. The best ones are against apes. At least they are mildly amusing. Yang Tze (Bolo Yeung) and Lo Leih are familiar faces to fans of Hong Kong movies. They are villains as one may expect. Dana is Princess Ankawa who saves Bruce when he is poisoned. He must leave but constantly dreams of Ankawa. He returns to be with his lover and their son.

  2. Of all the Bruce Li flicks, this has to rank up there with the good, the bad, and that baby's dog gone ugly. (Refering to Bruce's [...] child in the movie.) Explaining the plot wouldn't do any good, but vices to say Bruce goes to New Guinea, meeting a snake Princess and duking it out with the snake Wizard. This movie is just hilarious. Bad dubbing, bad acting, bad fighting and most importantly, bad karma. My mom doesn't like kung fu movies in general, but she can't forgetting this one. The one standing dialog in the movie that transends all bad dubbed dialog is when it's found out that the Princess has bared a child from Bruce. The famous "Bolo Yueng" steps forward saying, "Right. Princess? Your a slut!" I wonder if Quinten Taratino had been so inspired. With all it's flaws, I do get a kick out of this movie. And shamefully, I have to admit I love the opening title music, showing Bruce and the Wizard duking it out. I continue to hum it to myself.

If you venture out to watch this movie, you've been forwarned. It'll certainly be times of the day you'd wish you had back. Boyah!

  1. This DVD was a terrific survey of the origins of various Far Eastern martial arts that are now seen in the West.

The DVD is about 90 minutes featuring the history of many martial arts forms, how they evolved in the last few hundred years and how they are being practiced in the US today from the popular to the esoteric.

The material is interesting and the production quality is high. No particular martial arts type is emphasized and there is a broad section covered.

  2. I was pretty dissapointed with this purchase. For being as long as it was I expected it to be more in depth. There was nothing on here I haven't seen before and I've actually seen better stuff on u tube as well as the best parts of this one. Don't waste your money.
