  1. I wish they'd hurry up and put seasons 2-4 out or if they aren't at least put the reruns back on television. Alot of other good shows are being put back on. Perhaps there may be someone who has recorded every single episode I can buy them from. Waiting for Sony will take forever.

  2. This show is great fun to watch. It is one of the best entries in the "girls with guns" genre, mostly because it doesn't try to take itself too seriously.

The only thing missing are all the other seasons that came after this one. I can't believe that after all this time they still aren't out on DVD!

  3. Greatest show ever. Just kidding. If your looking to purchase this show you know what your getting. This is truly one of the corniest comedies of all time but it will keep a smile on your face. It is a shame this show didn't last longer. If your a fan of Pam you will like this show.

  4. Natalie Raitano is HOT!!! Pam Anderson can't hold a candle to Natalie; that's the only reason I can think to purchase this dvd collection.

  5. I truoly hope they will put out the complete series.

I LOVE this show. It's funny, self-reflexive, and just brilliant camp.

5 comments about The Octagon.
  1. ...at least as far as the fighting is concerned. If you want a Chuck Norris movie with a good story/plot I'd go for Missing in Action I or II. Or maybe Forced Vengence. But as far as fight scenes, I have to give this one the edge. He displays a much better range of techniques in this movie as well as use of weapons than in any other movie I can remember.

The acting is so-so. Better than usual I would say. the plot really isn't that compicated. And watching him fight opposite Tadeshi Yamashida is one of those rare moments of capturing two martial arts legends on film. Admittedly the movie has a slow build up, but overall it's a good movie if you like martial arts movies of that genre and era.

  2. Believe it or not boys and girls, Chuck Norris wasn't always the cartoonish Walker Texas Ranger.
He wasn't always a "wear it on your sleeves, republican pawn".
No boys and girls, Chuch Norris used to be AN AMERICAN BAD A$$!!!!!!!
    America's answer to Bruce Lee.
The Octagon was a movie that I still watch and still enjoy.
Beautiful choreography, decent acting, decent script, decent direction.
It's no Crouching Tiger, it doesn't try to be.
There are no high wire stunts where people run across the water of a lake.
There is some pretty cool martial arts stuff though.
The story is just kind of ............ meh.
Still, if you're even curious to know what Chuck Norris was like before he became a caricature, look no further.
A fun way to kill an evening.
    Recommended.

  3. An excellent movie overall. Norris is smooth and professional, his female suitors came across as immature and lost with his guidance. The movie dates itself to the late 70s early 80s on this count. If you're a Norris fan like myself it was a excellent movie to watch especially the last 30 minutes.

  4. I am conflicted and truly felt cognitive dissonance when I reviewed this movie. Anyone who knows me is aware that I am huge Chuck Norris fan. However, this movie is so totally ludicrous and for the most part moot. So this review was hard for me to write. Nevertheless, I still love Chuck Norris and this movie is entertaining but perhaps for all the wrong reasons.

This movie released in 1980 (more than likely shot in 1979) has this total retro feel to it, which as far as I am concerned is a good thing. However, this movie had so many loop holes in it the Millennium Falcon would have no problem flying through them in order to jump into hyper-drive.

I would try to explain the story of this film, yet I didn't understand it myself. What I will say is that Chuck Norris is tormented by flashbacks of his childhood and of ninjas (evil). He discovers that his adopted brother (can we say Lego hair) is the leader of an underground ninja crime movement. These ninjas are training in an octagon, hence the title of the movie. The former is really the best description of the movie I can provide. The movie should have been dubbed in French it might have made more sense to me despite the fact I cannot speak French. As for the fighting, it wasn't bad, usually Chuck Norris fair.

Another strange thing in this movie was Chuck Norris' intern-monologue; it has this whispering echo thing going on. For the most part, I didn't understand any of Chuck's thoughts. Then there was the character of A.J.: was he Chuck's friend, business partner, brother, an X-File, I don't know. Then there was this older man played by Lee Van Cleef. He was always accompanied by two other men and they always were able to aid Chuck. Again, I don't know who he was, why he was there and how he knew Chuck. All I knew is that he hated ninjas. I have never met a ninja so I can't share this aversion. Oh you will also see a very young Ernie Hudson in this movie.

Chuck also has three different "encounters" or "relationships" with women in this movie. The first woman is sort of ditzy and is accosted by ninjas. The second woman Chuck calls a whore. Finally, the third looks like a girl I use to date. I am not sure if any of this information means anything.

In retrospect I look at "The Octagon" in two perspectives. The first perspective is a movie that is so bad it makes one wonder why it was made and what events in one's life resulted in viewing this film. The second perspective is a movie that is just random scenes and the only continuity being the characters and location. Under the assumption the viewer surrenders to the latter, they might really enjoy this movie. Sadly this movie seems very thrown together and didn't know what it wanted to do with itself.

The only reason I gave this movie two stars is because after about forty minutes I just started laughing. Once this transpired, I started to lose the oxygen going to my brain and began enjoying the nonsense that is "The Octagon". This behavior continued up forty-eight hours after the movie ended. I will never look at a "stop sign" the same way again.

  5. The Octagon is one of Chuck's best movie highlighting his karate skills. This is a good one to have in your colloction.

5 comments about Code of Silence.
  1. Code of Silence is by far Chuck Norris' best film. Not only is it great by the standards of his martial arts action films, but is actually a cut above many action pictures.

Norris plays a Chicago cop who finds himself caught between a turf war between the Mafia and a Colombian drug cartel. His standing on the force suffers at the same time because he testifies against two cops who are involved in a bad shooting. The Code of Silence ends up being double-pronged - one side being the Mafia's Code of Silence, and the other being the police force's Code of Silence against bad behavior by their own.

Directed by Andrew Davis, who also directed Above The Law, Under Siege and The Fugitive, Code of Silence has great action sequences and a great villain in Henry Silva. This is Norris' finest film. Nothing he has done before or since has been anywhere near as good.

  2. A good solid movie, with all the usual 'Chicago Gang', that you see in so many movies shot in Chicago (Above the Law, Fugitive, etcc....). Chuck kicks butt big-time, and Henry Silva plays a great villian. If you like Chuck, you'll love this one. Just one question-'Does this guy ever age'?

  3. A GOOD MAN GETS SINGLED OUT BY HIS PEERS. IT DOES NOT TAKE LONG TO SEE WHO THE CORRUPT COPS ARE. PLENTY OF ACTION WITH GREAT MARTIAL ARTS SEQUENCES.

  4. "If I want your opinion, I will beat it out of you" says Chuck Norris to an entire pool-hall of coked-up Columbian gangsters. Need I say more? Good fight scenes, horrible, wooden dialogue, and Chuck taking on a Columbian cartel in Chicago (and police corruption) pretty much single-handedly. This may be his "best" movie.

  5. I HAD AN OLD FADED VIDEO OF THIS MOVIE. I REMEMBERED THAT I LIKED IT VERY MUCH. WHEN I WATCHED
THIS DVD ON MY BIG SCREEN TV , I WAS KNOCKED OUT!!! THIS IS THE BEST NORRIS MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN!
    I ONLY REVIEW WHAT I THINK A CD OR A DVD DESERVES 4 OR 5 STAR'S. THIS FILM , WITHOUT A SHADOW
OF A DOUBT IS, 5 STAR'S!!! YOU GOT ONE GANG PITTED AGAINST ANOTHER,YOU GOT A BAD COP,
THERE IS A VERY FUNNY BAR SCENE . YOU'VE GOT HENRY SILVA AS
ONE OF THE GANG LEADER'S. DENNIS FERINA AS THE COMIC RELIEF. GET IT!!!

5 comments about Silent Rage.
  1. When I saw this movie, I remenbered my childhood because It was one of my favorites movies of Chuck Norris. It`s amazing the persecution between the sheriff and the mad.

  2. Chuck Norris plays in this very being tight and also probably creepy thriller a sheriff who has to do something to arrest psychopatischen and with a Serum which lends an immortality to the murderer. Very full of suspense and made good and also the witty inserts of his auxiliary sheriff do this film must for every Chuck Norris-Fan.
The film is also concerning the alternate factors of property and Nastily very worth seeing!

  3. SILENT RAGE 1982 , BRILLANT BRILLANT MOVIE ONE OF HIS BEST MOVIES FROM 1982, I REALLY THINK CHUCK NORRIS REALLY PLAYS HIS PART OF AN AMERICAN POLICE OFFICER BRILLANT.

  4. I got this movie based off a review by Sid The Elf. Not only that, but I considered myself to be a huge Norris fan in the 80's. He was the only white guy you'd associate with kung fu (I don't consider David Carradine part of that, sorry). There was Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Chuck Norris. I even had a neighbor who looked like Norris, and we used to call him Chuck Norris.

Anyway, I'm also a big sci-fi fan, so the combination of Norris and some creepy dude killing people with an axe was enough to sell me. The movie's about what you'd expect from the time period: predictable storyline with a predictable outcome. And they HAD to throw in some cheesy love-interest for Norris: some busty brunette who couldn't act to save her children's soul. The effects were cool for the time and was surprised to see the fat guy from Animal House try his role as deputy, Norris' sidekick.

A huge downfall to this DVD were the special features: trailers for really bad movies made in the 90's (Bad Boys, The Professional [which really wasn't bad]), and a trailer for this movie. BUT, if you're able to read 7 different foreign languages you can practice your grammar on this movie with the subtitles that are offered.

Overall, really not a bad movie. Worthy of a rent, but buy it only if you're a Norris fan.

  5. I saw this film many years ago and I thought it was a cool idea for a movie. Unfortunately, the film is hampered by low budget, bad acting, inane dialogue.....the list goes on and on. I'm not a big Chuck Norris fan, but this film which obviously borrowed some ideas from the film 'Halloween' has some small moments. It's pretty silly, but the killer is menacing and there are a few jolts here and there. I wouldn't buy it, but if you see it on cable..............you might get a few laughs. I rate it 1 1/2 stars.

  1. Amazon assured me on their website my order would arrive before Christmas, as I ordered it a week before. However, it arrived 3 days after! The movie itself was a perfect gift for my fiancee

  2. What a wonderful little three pack/ box set of Chuck Norris films. The only other box set of Chuck Norris' films that I know of is the one with The Delta Force and Missing in Action sagas. This set is really awesome if you are a fan of Chuck Norris. With respect of my reviews title, I will address each film.

    Frights: Hellbound.

This movie is really sort of out there, even for Chuck Norris' standards. Chuck plays a Chicago cop who, along with his partner, ends up going against the Devil or some sort of Satanic being after some dubious loose ends in a murder case transpire in the Windy City. In this movie is Sheree J. Wilson, who was also in Walker, Texas Ranger. This movie is a bit "tongue-in-cheek" and over the top, but very entertaining nevertheless.

    Fights: The Hitman.

This is your classic revenge movie. I have seen many of Chuck Norris' films and I would have to say this is one of his darkest, even more so than Hellbound. Chuck plays a cop that is undercover, deep undercover, and so deep he could be Darth Maul with a beard. He is dressed all in black, doesn't pull any punches literally and philosophically speaking. The Hitman is a very violent film that really has a film noir type of vibe to it. This is essential Norris viewing.

    Neon Lights: Forced Vengeance.

This is an older film by Mr. Norris, so old that the trademark beard isn't present, only a mustache. Now please don't let that make you avoid this movie, because it is really good. Chuck plays a bouncer at a casino in Hong Kong who is dear friends with the owners, a father and son. After the former and the latter are murdered, Chuck finds himself on the run from the "organization" that was responsible. Never fear, Chuck doesn't run for long and ends up providing some nice roundhouse kicks. There is one scene in the movie where Chuck fights a guy in front neon lights that are the type of lights that are Times Square caliber. Therefore, the two men fighting are black silhouettes in front of colorful images, an interesting scene for an action flick.

Hellbound and The Hitman are one a dual sided DVD, not my personal favorite. These movies are as is, meaning no special features, no language options and no chapter selections (yet they are there, just use the remote). Also these movies aren't in letterbox/widescreen. I am going to be perfectly honest, the full screen version is fine, and it didn't bother me at all. I like widescreen and usually prefer it, but I am not one of these fundamentalist that "if it isn't widescreen I won't watch it". Full screen is much better than "pan and scan". Forced Vengeance is on a standard disc. It is presented in letterbox, has language options and does offer the original trailer/preview.

I was given this box set by my mom for my birthday and I have to say it is well worth it. I can see myself watching and enjoying these movies over and over again.

  3. Being a Chuck Norris fan, I enjoyed all three. The first two features, Hellbound and The Hitman are excellent, the writers took some time to flesh out his character. Forced Vengeance, however, was not as well scripted. The action scenes, like always, are well choreographed. Recommended.

  4. I was really happy at how fast I received this order! The order was well packaged for shipping.

  5. I love this DVD. Hellbound/The Hitman/Forced Vengeance is Chuck Norris at his best. The three films showcase his talents well.

5 comments about Dodgeball - A True Underdog Story (Widescreen Edition).
  1. This movie is pretty funny and has a lot of good jokes. It has a few "painful" parts, but mostly the humor is good. And Steve the Pirate makes the movie!

  2. With elements of parody culled from such sources as the movie, Hoosiers, G.I. Joe action figures and exercise equipment/nutrition infomercials, this is an absolute funny romp that is not just individual bits spliced together; the plot moves sprightly past what was supposed to be the ending - the final game - to a much more satisfying conclusion of sudden-death overtime on the Dodgeball floor.

Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn are outstanding in their roles in this unique variation of good versus evil; with the storyline focusing on the members of local gym versus the fitness mavens at a plush, state-of-the-art mega-center.

And in the end, the play-by-play announcer says it all: "Do you believe in improbabilities? Yes!"

  3. I think when you put Vince Vaughn in most any comedy he will do a fine job. This is probably his funniest work to date. When you take the idea of dodge ball as a competitive sport you know its going to be funny. Most all of the supporting cast is funny, the only person that is not is Ben Stiller. I think he truly was trying not to be funny and really that was supposed to be his character. The movie is great and though I have not seen the unrated version yet I am sure the general movie is still the same.

  4. This is a hilarious movie. Great spin on a childhood game picked up by adults. Ben is great

  5. This was just a positive experience dealing with the seller. Couldn't have asked for more!

5 comments about The Delta Force.
  1. After Entebbe's detent, the entire world could validate with stupor that horrible fact. Delta force, following the traces of that horrid experience, availed this occasion to carve in relief the death of ideologies had not dead. And so, these new "Dirty Dozen" risking their lives could rescue and neutralize this coward and abominable attempt.

The film is filled of action, and a well supported cast: But, despite of the big budget, the script has its holes (After all, Menahen Golan is not John Frankenheimer); on the other hand, the predictability of the end and a lack of depth about the surrounding circumstances around. Here we have to make a clear distinction respect Munich, for instance, in which the ideological conflict and the unstoppable action are not divorced.

But, in case you want to enjoy a kinetic film, here you have: the main ingredient.

  2. I have not seen this movie in a long time but if there is a movie that has action from beginning to end it has got to be The Delta Force. Chuck Norris and Lee Marvin are two no nonsense men that free a plane load of innocent passengers from a group of terrorists. Also in the cast is the late Joey Bishop who also did a wonderful performance. The movie's story line is as true as today's headlines. Action, energy and pure excitement..these words define The Delta Force!!

  3. The movie is good, has nice action scenes, the terrorists are bad but not as bad as the real ones (well this is a pre 9/11 movie) so I could give this movie 3 stars; however, the music is horrendous, it sound as a Saturday morning GI Joe cartoon. It makes you not to care for the characters because it reminds you that it's just all fictional and that the good guys are going to end up killing the bad guys and there is not tension in it. If this type of music wouldn't be in the movie, or even if there would be no music at all, it would be better. The director should have put this music only at the end credits, that's it. So because of this music, and being generous, I give this movie two stars.

Alan Sylvestri is a good composer but I think, this is one of his worst jobs.

  4. This movie could never have been released after 9/11. It actually shows Muslims as terrorists, instead of substituting in the politically correct "white neo-nazis". Even though 99% of actual terrorists are Muslim, and Muslims have forced us to turn our airports into armed camps, most Americans suffer from Islamophobia, a fear to speak out against Islam. This is a movie worth watching.

  5. It's one of the best war movies I've ever seen. It contains gripping and realistic actions. Chuck Norris and the main bad guy's acting are riveting. It's the best film of Chuck Norris too, I believe.

I've watched it five times over the years. I own it.

Other favorite war movies of mine are Saving Private Ryan, The Longest day, The Lost Battalion, Gods and Generals, Gettysburg, We Were Soldiers, Hamburger Hill.

  1. This is a very interesting, action filled show. It's a good law-enforcement show starring Chuck Norris as Walker, Texas Ranger. In every episode there is a lot of excitment and it keeps you wondering who the criminal is through the whole show.

  2. This show kicks butt, After watching Walker for so many years I tend to wonder if Walker can ever be stopped. My favorite episode is when Walker get's bitten by a deadly Scorpion and is left for dead but he closes his eyes and summons the great spirit and wakes up like nothing happend

  3. Even though this is eligable for the free shipping, I found this over 50% cheaper at Wal-Mart (24.95 when I purchased it this evening). And becareful if you want to return this product, they will charge you the shipping even though the shipping is free.

  4. There is not much I can say about this second season release of Walker Texas Ranger. That is because really nothing has changed from the first season. The plots are different of course, but there's still just as much action, excitement, and suspense. Expect more roundhouse kicks, nefarious villains, and truly hilarious moments the way it was all meant to be. You can also expect that same sense of justice when evil criminals are tossed into the bed of Walker's pickup truck, and the awesome new theme song - "The Eyes of a Ranger". It's bigger, better, and it's all here! Below is a list of episodes included in this seven disc DVD set.

    1. BADGE OF HONOR

    2. BRANDED

    3. SILK DREAMS

    4. MUSTANGS

    5. 'TIL DEATH DO US PART

  5. This is a great season, some real cliff hangers here.
I can't wait to get season three, they really captured the Spirit of Texas with Walker TR. If you are exiled from the great Nation of Texas this will scratch the itch.

  1. A fitting finale for the best action series - PERIOD. Chuck keeps getting better. I can't wait for his next move. BUY THIS DVD! Norris reminds me of a fine wine he gets better with age.

  2. I agree with the other viewers. I LOVE WALKER TEXAS RANGER,I wish they would have put them in a proper sequence.I"m going crazy trying to find different episodes on DVD. I would love to find FAITH, The White Buffalo, etc. I would like them to also explain why they brought it on TV for a final episode with Alex being pregnant, and then killed, and Jimmie Trivett going to the FBI? I will always try to find other Walkers his stories have agood plot and are heartwarming.JM

  3. I detinitely recommend The Final Season of Walker Texas Ranger. There was one special episode in the series: "Child Of Hope". That showed Walker's side as father and Alex's side as mother. In my opinion, it was definitely the most heart warming episode I ever saw. I couldn't help playing it over and over. Absolutely, this is an example of Save The Best For Last. This is one collection that I will never give or loan out. This is a keeper.

  4. I enoy this season very much and was unhappy to see the show end. The only thing was that is wold have been nice to see Gage and Sydney get together as their on screen chemistry was great. I hope they all move onto big and better things.

  5. this show is good i have been watching it ever since it came on tv and now i got the season of it.

  1. I would say this is the great Chuck Norris movie, no wait, the greatest movie of all-time except for one thing. And that is that all Chuck Norris movies are created equal and better then the movies like the Godfather, Schlinder's List, Back Door Sluts 9, and Braveheart combined. Chuck Norris is a much better actor then Tom Hanks and Marlon Brando because he knows karate. Hell Chuck Norris invented Karate as well as Judo, Kung Fu, and Hamster style Jap Slapping. Do yourself a favor and buy this movie so you can call yourself a man. And if your a woman buy this movie and pray Chuck Norris comes to your house and gets you pregnant.

This message was approved by Chuck Norris.

  2. AVENGING FORCE is on VHS.

    Avenging Force

Region 2 has a full screen DVD.

  3. I bought this movie because my daughter was in it. It was filmed in Atlanta Georgia and she was 7 years old at the time. I wanted her to have a copy to keep for the grandchildren if we ever have them.

  4. This was a pretty good movie, it has alot of Chuck Norris Humor in it. If u looking for the movie when he just does MArtial Arts this aint the one it does very little, but alot of explosions and shooting. Pretty good tho

  5. This movie proves once and for all that Chuck Norris was the force that ended the Cold War. It's clearly a documentary, or at least largely based on real events.

It is full of explosions, awkward dialogue, and nonsensical terrorist action (magic bazookas! attacking minorities at dance clubs!). And, of course, Chuck "savior of humanity" Norris.

There is some sort of backstory involving Hunter and Rostov, but it's probably irrelevant to the movie - otherwise, they would have put it in, right? Also, a thousand men just happen to slip past the radar of our government. Completely believable.

Perhaps you will also find yourself constantly saying "tell Rostov it's time to die!" as I do, after watching this amazing piece of cinema history. Why it didn't win any awards is beyond me.
