- The quality of these scissors isn't very good, but they were cheap! I have them lying around the house to use for whatever. I couldn't use them for sewing because they're not very fine. But for cutting random stuff they'll do. And I won't wreck my good scissors in the meantime.
- Bottomline on these scissors is they are stainless steel BUT made in china. They are good for general use and you have the choice of different sizes for your needs. I find myself using the largest and the smallest pair the most. Handle is plastic but it is comfortable. If you are looking for the extra sharpness and durability you'll need to find another set. I feel even if you paid the full 9.99 retail it still would be worth it but I picked them up on sale at $5.99.

2 comments about Miele GN Bags 5/pkg for S5 Galaxy Series and S600 series canister vacuums.
- Highly recommended if you have a family with allergies and need to clear your home of dust and pollen. The filtration system works better than any others that we have used.
- I am thrilled with the Miele system. The bags caught most, if not all (hey I don't have a microscope) of my dust, dust mites and their and my blech. I live in Oregon, land of 24/7 365 moisture. So dust mites love it here. And I happen to live in a valley... grass grass pollen pollen. I also have a cat that loves to quite literally roll around in the dirt. After testing a Miele Aquarius on my entire carpeted apartment, it was a no brainer to get a Miele. The first night I had my loaner from a friend I thoroughly cleaned my bedroom and that night I slept better. In the morning instead of going through a dozen or more tissues I just needed one. I also did not have to blow my nose in the middle of the night. I already have an amazing non-toxic mattress that the mites can't live in so I knew the problem was carpet, dust and moisture related. I ended up with the Gemini Miele as I don't need the Automatic (extra function) of the Aquarius. I did want the backlit knob indicator which is why I went with the Gemini over the Callisto. I purchased through Witbecks and they have been amazing in service and I would definitely buy from them again.
ps People, if you have allergies... look at your laundry detergent too.... I am simply flabbergasted how many people say they have allergies and use scented detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets!!!!!! That synthetic fragrance is definitely exacerbating any allergies you may have. That includes any 'plug-ins' or the like. Those products are actually quite toxic over time, they damage your olfactory senses (nose) and pollute the air, not freshen it.

- Highly recommend!!
Unit is noticeably quieter than the LG LHD45EL dehumidifier it replaced. Tank is easy to empty. Only had this dehumidifier for a few weeks so far, but seems well built. Definitely would buy again.

- This is a good rice cooker, easy to use. But we feel that it is too small for us. You can not make rice when you steam something
- the best rice cooker i've ever had. i love the slow cooker. thinking getting a bigger version for my mom
- I have been using this rice cooker for nearly two years now. It makes tasty white rice and brown rice. The steaming feature is good as well. I tried to make rice porridge once using the slow cook function but it was not successful. I have not yet tried the cake feature just because recipe is not provided with the instructions menu. I wish that they proivde some simple recipes. Overall, I'm satisfied with the rice cooker.
- As everyone else has already said, this rice cooker does well with rice. I like the slow cooker function too. It's simple to use: just set the timer and hit start. I use it to cook boneless, skinless chicken breasts in about a cup or so of broth for 8 hours. Cooking the chicken this way results in a tender, flavorful meat that I use in making a chicken salad spread. I think it's far better tasting than boiled chicken.
- We are family of 2. This Panasonic rice cooker serves our purpose. We cook rice thrice a week. It took us about a month to research on internet and stores to decide on Rice cooker. We started to looking on Rival (unreliable) to Aroma (ok) to Zjoirushi (Expensive like hell) to Sanyo (somebody at amazon reviewed it has soaking cycle and take an hour to cook rice) and then decided this Panasonic cooker. Following are the positive things about this rice cooker :
1) Easy to cook and clean. No mess on the kitchen top
3) Did not burn rice even though I had low water
4) 13 hrs timer setting. Once we decided to use timer setting. We cooked oatmeal with timmer setting to get it ready in the morning.
5) It has soup-white rice-brown rice-steamer-Bake and slow cooking setting. I have been using white rice-steamer setting a lot (Not to steam vegetable but to cook porridge)
6) Elegant look.
Negative things about rice cooker:
1) Worse product manual I ever got in my entire life for any electrical/electronic products. The product manual is like "Rice Cooker for Dummies". No technical specifications for any of its features (soup, white rice, etc.). I mean it can cook X number of dishes but we had to do trial-error method to decide, which dish can be prepared on what setting. Just to help you guys with features, we prepared following:
Oatmeal - 10 mins. steamer
Kichidi (Indian lentil-rice dish)- 20 min steamer
Kheer (Rice pudding) - 45 min. slow cook
Lentils dal - Soup
We are still exploring Panasonic rice cooker features. Atlast, we love the rice cooker. I hope Panasonic improves its product manual.

- The scissors I purchases were a hostess gift. I spent a week with my friend and she was using some old, worn-out scissors.
I had received my pair for Christmas last year, and use them daily for all kinds of jobs. I went online and ordered her a pair just like mine.
She loves them as much as I do.

- I haven't used this product much but so far it is ok. It is sharp and feels good in your hand.
- I just cut some plastic with them and then was all like, "Damn... these sure are some scissors."
I keep them with my high-school football trophies and other special things (like my collection of vintage VCR remotes and betamax players)
- I am a professional chef and have been looking for a sturdy pair of scissors. I have found them! I use these scissors on everything, and boy are they great. Plactic, carpets, thin metal straps. however I am a bit perplexed reading some of the other reviews saying that they are terrible for cutting through chicken bones. Um, use a knife, its safer and quicker, you also won't develop carpel tunnel or arthritis as quickly if you use a knife. I know i know, some infomercial shows scissors cutting up a chicken and then still perfectly cutting paper, use the right tools for the right job, and you won't be dissatisfied.
- Strong, dependable shears. Great for everyday kitchen use, from cutting thick vines of grapes to opening a bag. Blades are very sharp and easy to clean, and the handle is comfortable and strong.
I wish the blades were just a bit longer. However, most cuts for kitchen use are short anyway, and the shorter blades can withstand thicker materials requiring more strength. So, for kitchen use, these shears work very well. By design, shears that are great for kitchen use will not be good for cutting wrapping paper (just an example), and because I needed something that provided strength, I am happy with these shears.
- I bought these to match my steak knives. They are really good all-purpose scissors. I have used them a lot to open packages while cooking. Safer than using a knife. I have not tried to cut up chicken with them, yet.

- I was kinda surprised at the quality of this scissors for the money. I bought some shears from Walmart a while back and they pale in comparison. These are not high end by any means but they seem well made and are an excellent value.
- I was way more than satisfied with these shears. I chose them over regular shears because of the extra features (bottle opener, pry, pliers type function). They are supersharp, and I use them to cut everything; stiff plastic packaging (don't know why manufacturers package this way in the first place), cloth tags off tshirts, vegetables, tough flower stems, etc. I haven't used them on meat because I don't usually eat it.
The first time I went to clean them, they fell apart. At first I was dismayed, thinking that they had broken, then realized that they came apart for easy cleaning and that the blades easily fit back together again. This feature won me over totally. How many pairs of scissors have I had that end up dirty and rusted because I can't clean the place where the blades come together?
I recommend these shears to everyone who sees me use them. They have become an indispensable part of my kitchen and "junk drawer" collection.
- This is a great pair of scissors and one of the better values as well.
- I was looking for a good, solid pair of scissors for use in the kitchen. These are awkward, especially with the bottle opener and screwdriver tips poking out of the handles. They interfere with comfortable, ordinary cutting. Also, the blades do come apart for cleaning, but too easily. If you open the scissors in the wrong way, they fall apart in your hands. I don't recommend these.
- I bought these to replace the scissors in our knife block that I have no idea where the other pair went. They cut great, I use them a lot making salsa having to cut up cilantro and green onions straight into the pan. It's also nice they come apart, to throw in the dishwasher. They've been washed many times, and still perform great.

- I am always looking for a pair of scissors and never can seem to find any, these are sharp and do the job.
- This set contains every size a household can possibly need. Great for little and big fingers.
- Scissors have a comfortable, well-balanced feel. Good cutting action, with sliding and clicking sound of barber scissors. At least one of them could be used for cutting hair. I put each one of the five in my kitchen, desk drawers and other areas of my home. I am very pleased with the quality and value.

- I can take apart a cornish hen with this without taking out my knife. I love how easy they are to clean. As with everything Wusthof its very high quality, I own several of their knives as well. This is a great addition to my kitchen. The bottle opener is also great for opening those stubborn soda bottles.
- I purchased these shears because they come apart for easy cleaning. They are working out well. I use the shears mostly for cutting raw meat into smaller pieces. It cuts through skin and fat easily.
- I recently purchased these when my last set of poultry shears broke at the joint. These had a decently high rating and were available for the 4-for-3 deal so I grabbed a pair.
So far they've been great. The take-apart design makes them easier to clean and less likely to break as they have a way of failing safely built into them. They are also significantly sharper than any of the previous kitchen shears I've owned, which has included some much more expensive products.
These seem a little pricey at first, but they're high quality, easily cleaned, and tougher than the average scissors. If they're on sale and you need another item to add to get the 4-3 promotion they're definately worth it. They're still just shears though, so if your current ones work fine then it might be best to wait till those wear out to replace them. After all, it doesn't make sense to buy something simply because it lasts longer when what you have still works fine does it?
- These are the best shears I have ever used. They cut through pretty much everything and stay sharp long. Great feature is the separating of the two parts for cleaning.
- I read a lot of reviews before I purchased these shears. The thing that was mentioned over and over again was how easy they came apart for cleaning. What they didn't say is the the shear come apart constantly when you're using them. For example: I was cutting an uncooked chicken apart and the shears opened (fell apart) 7 times. It was very aggravating. The plus size of the shears is that they ARE very sharp and should be easy to keep sharpened. I've opted to buy a different brand and style.
