  1. I absolutely enjoy this set. I was a bit worried when I first used them because they did stick. However after a couple of uses they are completely non-stick. They are durable, amazing the handles don't get hot, after use, pour water in them and let them soak for a little while and everything wipes right out and they cook evenly (which is something I have never found in any other set). Love them!!!

  2. I've used non-stick cookware for many years, including Calphalon's three top brands and this is the BEST.

  3. I had read all the reviews and seen many friends buy Analon products. When I saw a great deal on Amazon for this set, I went for it. Everything looked great as I pulled it from the box. I've always taken good care to hand wash all the pieces and use non-stick safe utensils.

Within the first week, I notice a couple small nicks on the bottom of the sauce pans. Months later, I have many chips on bottom edges of two pans. I can't believe this cookware could chip so easily. I've had Calphalon for years that still looks great.

Clean up is also less than ideal. Non-stick I've had in the past cleaned up easily. This stuff claims to clean up well, but on many occasions I've found residue on the inside once the pans dried. This seems to happen with powder based ingredients such as hot chocolate and sauces. I end up having to clean the pot twice which I think is unreasonable. On one occasion, I had to clean it three times. I've found that sometimes you have to boil water in the pan after cooking to make sure to clean out any food film.

It's great in terms of its non-stick qualities. The heat spreads evenly and quickly. I'll have to see how it continues to hold up but I don't think I'll be buying this brand next time.

  4. I bought this set a little over a year ago- not for the "dishwasher safe" feature, but the reviews were good and it seemed to be a good value. We never put them in the dishwasher, but the most used pieces(pans)seem to be losing their "non-stick" quality and luster. I would look elsewhere in the future.

  5. I love this set. It heats evenly and can go from stovetop to oven. I wish the saucepans were a little larger but I would purchase it again nevertheless.

5 comments about Anolon Titanium Nonstick Dishwasher Safe 1-Quart Petite Saucier Pan.

  1. This is a great little all purpose pan. Great for heating soups or leftovers. And it's dishwasher safe. Would highly recommend it! Recently purchased a 10 pc set of Anolon Advanced cookware that can't be put in the dishwasher. If the Titanium set had been around longer and I could have found more reviews of it, I might have purchased it instead simply because it's dishwasher safe. If you're in the market for new cookware, definitely check out Anolon Advanced or Anolon Titanium.

  2. The dishwasher safe non-stick coating appears to work as advertised. I've washed this saucepan perhaps a dozen times now and can find no degradation of the surface. My only wish is that I could buy a close-fitting lid to go with it. I'm using a lid from a corning ware "pan" that works, but could fit better.

  3. As much as I love my Anolon Titanium cookware, there was something missing. I had purchased both cookware sets, but really needed something small to heat up soup or sauces. This is the perfect size and the lid from one my other pan fits it. I highly recommend this pan & find it well worth the price!

  4. This pan is everyhing it is advertised to be. I didn't need to use the dishwasher because a soft cloth wiped out all food reside. I would buy the Titanium series over any other Anolon product line.

  5. I tried out Analon Titanium and they are the only cookware I use now. I also tried Scanpan titanium and they are not nearly as good. The titanium cookware is incredibly durable (I've had some of my pieces for over four years and not a scratch). The non-stick surface is also excellent. I can use much less oil in my cooking.

5 comments about Anolon Titanium Non Stick Dishwasher Safe 4-Quart Covered Chef's Pan.

  1. I bought this pan last year Aug, it's only one year old, the coating start to come off. I always hand wash this pot, use soft rubber cookware, it still did not work. Just let everybody know, don't waste your money on this one.

  2. I love this pan. don't need any oil to brown and cook everything. from stir fry to stoups, everything cooks evenly, no hot spots. clean up is just a swish of warm water or at worst, a wipe with a sponge. this is fantastic cookware. get whatever you can afford to own.

  3. The 4 qt. pan was just exactly what I wanted and expected, just as the other Anolon products that I have purchased. The price was right, also!

  4. IT IS GREAT PAN. I REALLY LIKE THE FACT THAT IT FITS THE BURNER BETTER AND IT IS REALLY NON STICK. I HAVE NOT TRIED IT IN THE DISHWASHER.

  5. This pan entered our family because the younger generation was doing a lot of frying-pan cooking, and scrubbing out the old (uncoated) frying pan was becoming a task that no one wanted to do. We needed something that would cook well, be easy to clean--in the dishwasher, if possible--and would stand up to hard use by the whole family.

I chose this pan because according to my pre-purchase research, Anolon Titanium uses the Autograph coating, the newest/best Dupont non-stick surface, and the titanium-composite outer shell means that the hard-anodized aluminum pan won't be destroyed in the dishwasher, when you use mild gel soaps and moderate temperatures (instructions included with pan). I've previously steered clear of anodized aluminum because I don't want to HAVE to handwash anything--as is evident from the paragraph above.

    Good points of this pan:

** It goes in the dishwasher! We use a gel soap, setting the cycle to "Normal" and "Air Dry" -- the lowest temperatures possible on our machine. This size, with loop handle and stick handle, exactly fits the front-to-back space in the lower dishwasher rack. When we take the pan out, we season it lightly with olive oil before using it again.

** Lid is unbreakable stainless, not glass--a feature found only in the Titanium line among the Anolon products.

** Food doesn't weld itself to the cooking surface, so it comes off easily, either in or out of the dishwasher. (Use non-metal tools to maintain the cooking surface.)

** Sides and bottom are equally heavy--means no "hot spots" or "cool spots" when pan is pre-heated at a mid-low temperature setting. Even if you slop pancake batter up on the sides of the pan, the finished product is well-done, if a trifle bent.

** Sides are high enough to accomodate even a sloppily aimed pancake or a rather enthusiastically stirred stir-fry. There are fewer bits of food scattered over the stovetop after cooking sessions.

** The long, slightly textured stainless handle is comfortably shaped for a variety of hand sizes, easy to grip, slip-resistant, and stays cool during the average cooking session. The loop handle is also textured, slip-resistant, and comfortably shaped, but gets warm faster.

** The pan is oven-safe to 500 degrees, though it cannot be used under a broiler. You can start a recipe on the stovetop, finish it in the oven, and not change pans.

** Construction seems sturdy and commercial-quality, very heavy-duty.

Pleas note that most people probably won't need/want something this big and heavy. This is definitely a pan for feeding a crowd--or at least a couple of hungry teenagers and the other folks in the family.

We've not had this pan long enough to give a rating on its durability--the Autograph surface, if properly used, is supposed to be 300% more durable than standard non-stick surfaces. However, we do seem to be using this pan at almost every meal and we are definitely giving the durability factor a test. We'll check back in a year or two...
