5 comments about Kaiser Bakeware Classic Donut Pan.

  1. Although a little more than I would like to have spent on a baking pan, I love it! I ordered two since we have a large family and wanted to cook up multiples at a time. Finding a recipe required a bit of work, but we settled on our favorite things in the donut pan are our tried and true banana bread and pumpkin bread recipes with chocolate chips in them. We pipe the batter in with a bag with the corner cut out (or a tupperware frosting decorator ball thing minus the tips from a friend works super!) The donuts are so much more fun than the muffins we were making previously and great for kids' hands and superb baked gifts for friends. We get rave reviews from all who try it. It was definitely worth the purchase and the wait for them to arrive from backorder.

  2. It is a fine product for making your own full-size donuts. One of very few that I found that would do a dozen full-sized donuts.

  3. I just received my donut pan from Amazon in 4 business days despite having chosen Free Super Saver Shipping. I love Amazon, but my opinion of this pan is so far very unfavorable. It came with a card board label attached to it with some kind of tar-like substance that I have never come across before. I can't even get it off with Goo Gone. The instructions and recipe that is advertised to come with the pan was completely torn off because the sticky stuff was placed exactly on the English version. I am tempted to pack this up and send it back without even making donuts because I don't know how I'm going to get this stuff off the pan. If I figure out a way and use the pan, I will update my review.

  4. I had never seen a pan to make baked lower fat donuts before so thought I would give it a try. Well, the pan is a nice weight, the non-stick surface works perfectly, and the donuts came out so tender and melt in your mouth. The recipe that comes with the pan is in European measurements, but I found a recipe on the internet and used it. The donuts baked evenly and actually fell out of the pan when I turned it over after taking out of the oven. My whole family could not believe these perfect little donuts. They are on the small side, but are just the right size for a snack or after dinner. I will definitely be using this pan over and over again.

  5. This is a doughnut pan manufactured in Germany by Kaiser Bakeware. The pan seems solid, even if it is lightweight. The price seems comparable for other doughnut pans sold here. The non-stick finish seems durable and it seems comparable to the Nordic Ware pans I have. The doughnuts are not very large, unlike the mammoth ones at the grocery store. I baked doughnuts from a Cooking Light recipe and I barely had enough to fill the pan though (roughly the batter from 2 1/2 c. flour and 1/2 c. sugar).

  1. used this for the first time for a birthday cake, it was a huge success, made me look like a real baker of cakes
    high quality metal, non stick
would recommend it to anyone interested in a fun cake

  2. This cake pan set is beautiful, and works well for beautiful cakes, very impressive at parties.Wilton Checkerboard Cake Pan Set

  3. I've only made a "candy corn cake" (found in the Wilton 2006 Cake Decorating Yearbook, pg. 42) so far, and it turned out pretty good. I made the cake from scratch, and the batter was thinner than a cake mix. The color rings weren't as exact as in the picture, but it still looked pretty good! I can't wait to make more cakes!

  4. Excellent product. time consuming but is all worth it!!!!

    beautiful outcome

1 comments about Roshco "Create and Celebrate" Car Pull-Apart Cupcake Silicone Baking Pan.

  1. The first time, I sprayed the pan with cooking spray as the directions recommend. The cake wouldn't even come out of the pan.
The second time I buttered and floured the inside and the cake still didn't want to just pop out. I've tried with the cake cool and warm and both ways the cake still wants to stick. Also, some of the pieces are really tiny as compared to other pieces which wouldn't be nice when kids are involved, unless you let someone have two pieces to make up for it. This idea is excellent but not if the cake won't come out of the pan!

4 comments about Progressive International Porcelain Lidded Ramekins.

  1. I've used the Progressive ramekins several time for souffles - they heat evenly and clean up easily. I like the fact that they are 10 oz - don't have a lot of souffle hanging over the top. Would highly recommend.

  2. Nancy stood next to me, gaped-mouthed and grimacing. My newest catch, a baby toad, as small as a thumbnail, hopped frivolously in his temporary home, a ramekin. What she saw was grotesqueness-cum-animate, not seeing the vital pond world captured into a pure white ceramic zoo.

At six years old, beauty knew no limit with Nancy. Blonde, with curls that were strewn through fields and meadows, as lovely as wild, yet, playful as any spring-born fauna. Her joy enlivened me, as her smile kindly lifted first grade angst from all trouble. Bright, well-read... she knew all her letters, and her mother had read to her the entire "Mrs. Piggle Wiggle" series. What heart would not be endeared to a soul ever so sweet as Nancy's?

But, there I stood, rejected, as my newest friend--my amphibious patriot and I--saw Nancy's flirtatious smile diminish.

Our summer-long romance eked closely toward its brutal end, the playground days with Miss Audrey's Daycare now into its final dwindle. Mourn, I could not--not now as she turned her head from me.

As my heart soared into the empty memory of bliss gone by, Nancy whispered, "Look, there's another. We can catch it if we try."

And so we tried, with the ramekin ready on the draw. And we caught, with the ramekin in ready hand. And she smiled, with toads in a ramekin. Together we smiled for hours, sometimes looking at the toads, sometimes looking into each other's eyes, and sometimes nowhere in particular, and then, set them free.

Consider the Progressive International CLR-4 10-Ounce Porcelain Ramekins with Plastic Lids, Set of 4. Your creme brulee will be better enjoyed, and the love of Nancy may be secured.

    --Brockeim

  3. the ramekins on this are nice and stakable but the lids crack easy and strech out os they dont fit very tight. I had two of my lids crack in the first month.

  4. Great to store lots of the small amounts of left-overs from meals to save as a snack for 3:00 AM (or whenever). The lids are strong and seal well, the ramekins themselves are perfectly glazed, simply designed, and have a 10 oz capacity.... that makes for a lot of Crème Brule. Lastly, they are microwave, oven, dishwasher, and freezer safe.

5 comments about World Cuisine Madeleine Sheet, Tin, 3 1/8".

  1. Excellent! Buy 2 pans if you plan on making any as most recipes will make 2 dozen or more standard sized madelienes. I got perfect results with these pans, I use 'PAM for Bsking' spray instead of buttering & flouring each shell which saves time & they clean up beautifully. Wash by hand, don't put in the dishwasher. I also bought 2 of the smaller mini-madeline pans by the same manufacturer & highly recommed those as well.

  2. I bought this to make Madeleines for a school project. It works great. No problem with sticking. The Madeleines are so attractive and yummy, that we now make them for parties. They are a hit.

  3. These pans work very well- I have no complaints... we'll see how they hold up over time but for now very pleased.

  4. Great Pan.....watch out Starbucks...(I LOVE their Madelines). Would be best to purchase 2 pans or it takes a long time with only 1. I am getting another. Julie

  5. I've used this pan two times already and am very pleased with its performance. It is very sturdy and, even though it is not non-stick, it releases the cookies easily when properly greased. Cleanup is effortless - stick-on particles come off after a little soak. Just wipe, rinse, towel-dry and it's ready to go again. This pan makes 12 cookies, which is enough for up to 4 people. If you're planning to bake for a crowd or for gift-giving I'd recommend to purchase 2 pans.

5 comments about Chicago Metallic Gourmetware Nonstick Large Tortilla/Taco Shell Pans, Set of 2.

  1. These seem nice enough. They were a gift and I haven't seen them in action. I was slightly upset that they arrived late even though tehy were part of a "Buy 3 get them in 2 days" shipping thingy, but none-the-less the person I gave them to was pleased.

  2. I have been wanting to prepare my own taco salad shells for years. I have been buying and using the shells from Kroger until I bought a set of these shell formers. I have taught myself to use either corn or flour tortillas and everyone loves them.

  3. Excellent product. Produces taco salad shells just like in Mex. resturants. Am ordering more so can serve more at same time.

  4. We really love the tortilla bowl set. They are top quality and heavy metal. I thought they were going to be smaller, but they are large. The pans hold the large torilla shells and make a nice bowl.

    I would recommend these pans.

  5. The product is a good one to have, makes great taco salad shells, although the tast of a baked shell does take some getting use to. This product is good for large tarts.
