- When the starfish and the fish came out, they made beautiful chocolates you would think to see at a snooty candy store. The problem is, they only came out perfect about 68% of the time. The shell always came out beautiful.
Kind of a you-know-what to clean, but so are all chocolate molds I've dealt with. Maybe I'm just not that good at tempering. I recommend the Hearts tray by the same people. That one makes absolutely beautiful truffles.
- The ice cubes come out intact - not chipped or cracked. To get them out, push each cube from the bottom with your finger.

- I LOVE this pan! It's made of nice, thick, quality silicone, and it makes the cutest star-shaped muffins! It's AWESOME, and really easy to work with. There's no need to buy any more paper liners for muffins or cupcakes!
It's dishwasher safe, and I love how I don't have to worry about rust, which was a constant problem with my metal muffin tins. Also, they're super-flexible, so you can bend them any which way to store them, or to fit them into the dishwasher, and they always retain their sweet little star form afterwards.
Finally, a couple tips for silicone baking:
1. ALWAYS spray the cups with non-stick cooking spray before filling them with batter. I use the butter-flavored Mazola spray. Just so you know, and you don't freak out when you see it, the pan gets discolored on the top from the baked-on cooking spray that didn't land into the cups. Don't worry, they're not ruined. It's normal.
2. Make sure you bake your food for several minutes LESS than called for on your recipe. I learned that the hard way. Food baked in silicone bakes faster. I wound up with plenty of burned muffins. :( For example, I make muffins in this pan on a regular basis, which are supposed to bake 16-21 minutes. I usually bake them about 13-14 minutes, and they're perfect, golden brown.
Another fantastic Wilton product! You won't regret buying this!

- I am pleased with my pans. They are great quality like all of my Lodge pans. I was a bit shocked when I opened the box, I expected them to be a bit larger for the price.

- I bought this to use as a melt & pour soap mold. I've had a great time experimenting with the silicone molds by Wilton. Easy release too.

5 comments about Kaiser Bakeware Kaiserflex Silicone Muffin Baking Cups, Set of 6.
- I bought these recently after buying a similar (more expensive) set at Sur La Table, thinking I'd found a bargain. Unfortunately, these don't compare to the more expensive set, being smaller and very flimsy. You pretty much have to use a muffin tin with these -- they just replace the paper liners, rather than allowing you to bake without a tin. The serving size is also very small, and I find that batter leaks over the edges into the tin if I'm not very careful with filling. So I end up having to wash a tin, anyway! Very disappointing.
- I used these for both muffins and yeast rolls. I didn't grease or spray them in advance and nothing sticks to them. I love these baking cups.
- Overall I am very happy with the performance of the product, My muffins come out easy, and I'm not trying to pull paper off my food. They are very easy to wash. I just think the price is too high for what they are.
- These are bigger than the pastel ones I previously purchased which were a better size for my family.
- i ordered these so that i could bake chocolate lava cakes in them. they work awesome, if they were a little bit larger.
