- Most quiche pans are very shallow and I needed one that was deeper. This is the only one I could find. I would have preferred a removable bottom but otherwise it performed as I wanted it to.
- I now have six of these and use them in my bakery for our deep-dish quiches. They hold up great in a commercial dishwasher, and a little pan spray is all it takes to pop a whole quiche out flawlessly each time - hot or cold. I previously purchased another brand's nonstick version, but the coating started to chip off pretty early. Not even worth going that route. These are great.

- This is a perfect tart pan. I couldn't find a 9 x 1/1/8 size locally,
but Amazon came through with two day shipping! I was able to make
a chocolate tart for the holidays.

- Great product. Can be used for parties, family get-togethers. Make tarts ahead of time and freeze. Also useful to make a variety of tarts to share.
- I bought these tart pans to make smaller tarts. I usually make 9-1/2 inch tarts with a pan that is 9-1/2 inch diameter. These tart pans are nonstick so you can easily lift off tart from pan without breaking tart. They have removable bottom so you can push the bottom up and easily remove the tart. Having a smaller size enables me to make smaller tarts for sale rather than selling one big one.

- I've finally learned, it's worth the extra money to invest in really good bakeware. This is a great pan! My tarts browned perfectly and slid right out without sticking.
- These wonderful little Tartlette pans are phenomenal! Very substantial quality. Will last a life time. I make sweet little tartlettes, savory ones, nutty ones, philo-dough ones, even mini-cakey ones. But the best are the chocolate cups one can make ( as seen on Food TV ), to be filled when hardened. Of course, one can buy these at specialty stores for a hefty price, the home made ones are easy and delicious. Perhaps not as perfect, but they'll be just fine. And cute, too!
- I've been very pleased with my Nordicware Bundt pan, so I chose to go with the brand again for this tartlette pan. It's especially convenient that they're all on one sheet, rather than have individual tart shells.
The pan has a nice heft to it, and it really conducts heat very well. Almost too well, that I nearly burned my mini frangipane tarts. The non-stick lining is superb, and the tarts come out without a hitch.
- This pan is the only way I can make tarts without them sticking to the pan. I have tried every other pan known to mankind and this is the best. It's sturdy and very non-stick. I highly recommend it. Tarts come out looking professionally made.

1 comments about Gobel Heavy Tinned Rectangular Quiche Pan, 13-3/4-by-4-1/4-Inch.
- A serious foodie that has been perfecting her cooking skills for the last 25 years in her home kitchen writes this review. My favorite cookbooks are "The Professional Chef" by the Culinary Institute of America and "Culinary Artistry". If you love to cook and entertain, this is a great item to have in your arsenal, I love mine.
They can be used for anything that has a crust or a structure, not just a quiche. They make beautiful fruit tarts, cheesecake, chocolate pecan squares, bar cookies, brownies, etc. I think they would make beautiful pizzas for a buffet, but I have not tried that yet. They are very versatile if you love to entertain. These pans are large enough to get 12 generous servings for a buffet. I cut the item down the middle lengthwise and then make five cuts along the narrow end.
These pans are well made. They are thicker and more durable than I anticipated. They hold up fine with hand washing. I do make certain to dry them thoroughly before I store them in the cabinet. If you love to entertain, I would recommend purchasing more than one of these. I have two, and now am contemplating purchasing two more.
