- A wonderful addition to the All-Clad mixing bowl set. This bowl is huge. And like all All-Clad tools it is beautiful and will stay beautiful forever.
- These are the best mixing bowls I have ever used! I have 4 sizes (7, 5, 3 and 1.5 quart) and I use at least one or two every day. They have a nice handle so you can get a good grip on it. The polished stainless steel is so beautiful you could definitely use them to serve as well. I use the 7 quart for making several pounds of meatballs at a time. It is definitely one of my favorites. Also, the clean up couldn't be any easier and they all nest together for easy storage. I can't imagine using any others!
The base is a good size and there is no danger that anything could tip over, that is unless you tip it over! Top quality and excellent design! Highly recommended!
- I investigated all the mixing bowls at local stores and on-line, and the All Clad ones are the best. 1.) Many other bowls roll the top lip over to increase strength. Unfortunately (as with my old bowls), water and other grime collects or dribbles in the rolled lip. All Clad bolws have an edge that is flat and doesn't do this. They use thicker material for strength. 2.) The All Clad bowls have a handle attached. This is so much better for beating, whisking, etc., since you get a good grip on the bowl. 3.) The All Clad bowls are highly polished which makes them easier to clean, and you could even serve in them since they look nice. 4.) The All Clad bowls have a nice shape. Others are too shallow so stuff slops out when mixing or are too conical not allowing you to mix. These bowls are nicely shaped like a half-circle.
So why only only 4 stars? Look at the price. For the price of one All Clad bowl, you can buy a whole set (or two) of other brands. I plan on giving these to my grandchildren. The 7Qt is a monster--large enough for tossing a salad. Finally, it doesn't look like they do, but they do stack/nest just like other bowls despite the handles.

- I have fallen in love with silicone and have replaced a lot of my kitchen gadgets with silicone ones. I love that these bowls bend easily into pour spouts. They are fairly stable-- the base could be a bit wider. But I use them less than I expected because they lack measuring marks in them, and I find myself going to the old glass/plastic bowls because I can use them for at least several ingredients as a substitute measuring cup. They ended up on the top shelf.

2 comments about OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Bowls - Set of 3.
- I have been using these bowls for a year now, and they are fantastic. The rubberized exterior gives an excellent grip even when wet. The only potential downgrade I could give them is that Reynolds plastic wrap does not adhere well at all, so sealing them could be a problem if you want to let something sit. I didn't try other brands of plastic wrap, and place items in need of sealing into a more seal-friendly container. Or just use a rubber band. :)
- This is a review about Chef Tools and not the OXO Good Grip Bowls. Why isn't it about the bowls and is about Chef Tools, well because I never got the bowls. When my order did arrive from Chef Tools they were the wrong bowls. I then contacted Chef Tools and everything went smoothly I was given a FedEx return label and was told the correct bowls would be sent out. After a few weeks of not receiving the correct bowls from Chef Tools via FedEx I contacted them by email again and explained that the bowls had not arrived. Since FedEx says the package was delivered Chef Tools thinks the package might of been stolen...
My email from Chef Tools.
"We have no recourse with FedEx for packages that have been stolen, so we are unable to provide replacements. I understand this is terrible news, but we can not send out free products due to theft on your property."
There is no way to tell if it was an error with fedex or if my package was stolen but Chef tools decided that is was stolen so they didn't have t replace them.
Order these bowls from another site that isn't Chef Tools.

2 comments about Rachael Ray Groovy Mums Hipster Serving Bowl, Set of 3.
- I love watching the 30-minute Meals show. I have gotten a lot of great ideas for cooking quality meals fairly quickly. But I have also fallen into the television trap of "I want that!" from watching the show, and I purchased several Rachel Ray items online including this set of bowls. The products are not bad quality, as far as I can tell.
But I have a suggestion. You can find a lot of these items at places like Kohls and you can see them first before buying. I was shopping at Kohls and came across the Rachel Ray line. But I also found a set of serving bowls I liked even better than this set that would work for the same purposes. And the set was less expensive, especially when shipping was taken into account. I am now giving these bowls to my sister and keeping the ones I like better.
I remember falling into this trap before when I was invited to about fifteen Pampered Chef parties in a six month time period (when everyone I knew caught the Pampered Chef fever). I ended up buying a lot of things I really didn't need. I also discovered that the items weren't very well priced when I went to a Williams Sonoma store in the mall and found near identical items that were priced even cheaper and that I liked even better.
I just recommend people look at these products in person before buying.
Another thing...Melamine is widely available now in so many pretty forms. You can shop any number of places to find this durable material in many products. A word to the wise though...I used my hand mixer in one of my larger melamine batter bowls (because I thought it was tough enough to take it) and I scratched the bowl. I guess maybe other people might not be as careless as I was, but just in case.
- These bowls are great sizes for a variety of uses. My wife loves tham and of course uses the largest one for her "Garbage" bowl, just like Rachel Ray.

3 comments about KitchenAid KG175BU Professional Series Set of 3 Mixing Bowls, Blue.
- I have used these bowls several times since purchasing them around a month and a half ago. The large one is the perfect size for holding a large batch of pancake batter (the spout makes pouring easy, too), holding 1 bag of popped microwave popcorn or mixing up a meatloaf. I have washed the bowls in the dishwasher multiple times without any trouble. I got them when they were on sale and wish I would have purchased a few more sets to give as gifts. I would consider them to be a great find for the price I got them for ($12.99 maybe?) and would probably even pay a little more for another set now that I know how multi-functional they are.
- I bought these for my daughter off her wish list. I'm glad I bought these from a non-featured merchant for $14.99, because if I had paid $49.99 or up, I would have felt totally ripped off. They probably do work as well as the other reviewer said and lighter is probably better, but I was expecting more than just plastic from a "professional series" set.
- I love these bowls, and they were a terrific deal. They have a non-slip bottom, very light, and a lip to pour. Great addition to any kitchen!
