1. My second delight with this purchase - the first was the prompt delivery - is the quality of color: The blue and the yellow are perfectly balanced for saturation and clarity, the loveliest robin's egg blue and lemon yellow I've ever seen. The glazing makes them seem actually to glow, while making the bowl a snap to wash. The lines are graceful and the bowl settles nicely in the hands and arms. The bowl is well proportioned for mixing a large amount without spilling and there is a lip that adds a casual touch to the design yet which functions perfectly. The bowl's heft makes it stable, though a tad heavy when it's full of batter or soapy at clean-up.
   
   I'm astonished at myself. This is the first time I've felt moved to write a review and it's about a mixing bowl, of all things. But. Well. There you have it.
