5 comments about All-Clad Stainless 12-Inch Fry Pan Lid.

  1. Looks great and serves the purpose with the pan. I am very curious as to why the package says made in China as I thought All Clad was made in Pennsylvania USA?

  2. As another reviewer pointed out, this lid doesn't seal as well as it should. I suppose the 5-star reviews received a slightly different product.

In comparison, the All-Clad lids for my 10.5 inch frying pan an 1-quart sauce pan fit perfectly.

I gave it only 2 stars because of the fit was not what I expect for a $47 lid.

  3. I purchased this lid for a 12" Calphalon skillet and it fits. All-Clad is expensive but it ia also high quality cookware. I am very pleased but it would be nice if it was not so expensive. Great looking and no worries about oven use.

  4. This lid alone costs more than most pans. It is an extravagent expense, but if you regularly use lids then you are stuck with this option if you want to buy something that is going to fit your All-clad pan correctly. Of course, it is well-made with heavy steel and seems as expensive as it is, but if you are only buying a lid for completeness, and you just won't use it much, keep your $50.

  5. I needed a lid for my 12 inch All-Clad fry pan and all of the one-size-fits-all lids at my local stores were a wee bit too small. That's because All-Clad's 12 inch fry pan is actually 12 and 3/8 inches in diameter.

So I purchased this genuine All-Clad lid and it fits perfectly. It's a high-quality well-made product. I deducted one star because it costs twice as much as what other good-quality lids cost.

  1. Beautiful lid, works perfectly. What more can you say about a lid? :)

  2. I needed a lid for my Calphalon 10" skillet and I wanted the shiny stainless steel instead of the brushed steel. I was not sure if other brands would fit or not but I know All-Clad makes quality cookware so I ordered this lid. Guess what? It fit so well that I ordered a 12" lid also. Works in the oven with no problem and of course it looks great. It is rather expensive but it's an All-Clad and I am really pleased with the look and quality. Thanks All-Clad

  3. This was a partial gift for my Granddaughter, she is really into All-Clad products, every Christmas she requests these products.

  4. What can I say?...It fits perfectly over the pan and covers ALL the contents.

5 comments about All-Clad Splatter Screen.

  1. The holes are too big and it created a huge mess. The lid is too large to store anywhere it a small kitchen. After one use, I returned it!

  2. Just love this product. The splatter screen fits any size saucepan or fry pan. It helps prevent grease from the pot from spraying your arms, your clothing, your face from really hot liquid. It's very easily cleaned-- dishwasher is my method of choice. Dries in no time flat. I've worked with other screens before. You know the ones, they hang in the supermarket aisle and sell for pittance. Though the All-Clad screen is significantly more expensive, it is built to last as long as you do.

  3. I have been purchasing All Clad products for many years for home use. I have also been a professional chef for many years and have come to rely on a couple of quality products and one of them is All Clad. After reading the reviews I was skeptical about order the splatter screen but went forward and order the screen anyway knowing my past experiences with All Clad. I can say that I am very happy I ordered the screen. It is stronger in construction than the cheep ones and the design is a little funky but I hang the screen from my pot rack with the handle over the rack. My stove area is a lot cleaner and the area around my stove is a lot cleaner (without grease)by using the splatter screen.

  4. I'm a HUGE All-Clad fan and I thought that this would be the best splatter screen out there. I was VERY wrong. This lets so much grease through it's joke. Sure, it's not as bad as using nothing, but my entire stove is still covered with grease...and the design is very annoying, too. You can't store it up against the inside wall of a cabinet because of the handle design (which also is dangerous BTW - to lift it off a pan you have to grab it right over the pan - as opposed to a handle extending out - with grease splattering everywhere and steam and heat coming right out. Plus the handle gets EXTREMELY hot as a result of this design, as well as it's over the same heat as your food. PLEASE save yourself $$$ and cleaning time and find a screen with smaller holes.

  5. I purchased this through Amazon but returned it. I intended to use this with their 3qt 10-inch saute pan. But it is huge! It is not an elegant design for this size pan. All Clad should have designed a screen that matches this pan instead of a one-size-fits-all from 8 inches to 13 inches. Furthermore, the unique handle that curves over the screen takes more storage room. My wife didn't like it. Back to the drawing boards All-Clad.

  1. I had the exact opposite of the last guy. I needed this lid but bought the 10 inch first. The 10 1/2 inch is what I needed for my stock pots. If you are not sure give All-Clad a call.

  2. I measured my frying pan and thought sure this was the right lid, but what I needed was to 10-incher. This is for some kind of pot or something.

5 comments about All-Clad Stainless 6-Inch Lid.

  1. Well, it is a stainless lid, that fits small All-Clad saucepans. Performance is not an issue, really- the only things wrong with it are common to all All-Clad lids (must lift to see food cooking, flat rim around edge is easily dinged and compromises seal with pan.) Also, the c.$30 for a little circle of metal is hard to swallow, but then, we must not mind too much because we are buying these products no matter how much they cost!

  2. it fits...and it looks good.

What else is there to say?

  3. This is a lid. It fits All-Clad's six inch pots perfectly. It's shiny. It holds things inside the pot. The handle can get hot after a while, so be careful. The handle is nicely shaped and is easily held with two fingers. It's shiny. It's just a lid. Though if you didn't have a lid your sauce or whatnot might splatter across your stovetop, and wouldn't that be messy? Yay lids!

  4. How exciting can a lid be? When it's All-Clad, it's always exciting.

  5. Having cooked for almost 40 years, I can assure you that there is no better cookware than All-Clad. Beautiful, durable and efficient. Anyone thinking that food will stick to a stainless pan has either not tried All-Clad or is using faulty technique. Preheat the pan, lightly oil and it is better than any other product. The best.
