  1. I agree with the reviewers who detailed how lightweight, nonstick, and evenly heated this griddle is, but I have had a different experience than those who found it warped. I set it on several surfaces in my kitchen, and it laid perfectly flat every time. Perhaps there was a bad batch, or Anolon has corrected the problem.

Anyway, another reason I love this griddle is for how quickly it heats. With it I need a lower heat setting than with my heavy Anolon skillet, and my pancakes cook significantly faster (I actually burned the first 2). I can whip out a stack in about 1/3 the time I did before, which makes me more likely to do more complicated recipes (like yogurt and banana pancakes-mmm) or add bacon and eggs to a meal.

Add all this to the fact that I paid 1/2 the price on Amazon than what I found it for in a department store (and got free 2 day shipping with Prime), and I could not be happier with my purchase.

  2. All of the analon advanced products are wonderful; easy to clean, sear well, etc. They are rated well. The griddle has a drip corner to pour off liquid.

  3. The griddle works fairly well, however, on our flat stove top, with the pan being slightly warped, it does not evenly heat up the entire surface at the same temperature.

  4. Seems flat when cool, but when on cooktop and hot, one whole end sits almost 1/4" above the cooktop surface. Causes big problems with the heat limiter circuitry on modern ceramic cooktops! Look elsewhere.

  5. The product looks good and sturdy, however, it is warped. This makes it unacceptable when you are trying to place it on two separate burners. I'm going to try the Circulon 2 griddle.

  1. This is a wonderful skillet... not praise I offer lightly. Worth every penny. Watch the "helper handle" it doesn't stay as cool as they say it is supposed to.

  2. First the good news. This is an extra heavy skillet with durable finish and good handles. It easily handles two quarts up to the bottoms of the rivets and distributes the heat evenly across the bottom of the pan. But for the bad news I would give this skillet four or five stars.

The bad news is that someone at the Anolon plant damaged the pan BEFORE it was placed in the Anolon carton. Neither the Anolon box nor the outer UPS shipping carton showed any damage when I received the skillet. It wasn't until the the following day, after I threw out the packaging, that I noticed the a small sharp blow had been delivered to the rim of the pan which deformed the pan slightly. True, I should have been more attentive when I received the pan, but I never suspected Anolon would package damaged goods.

I'll live with my mistake but will not purchase anything by Anolon again!

  3. A fair price for this dishwasher-safe, non-stick pan of this high quality. Even cooking with little or no oil. Very pleased.

  4. After reading other reviews on this skillet I orded it. We love it. It is so nice to cook on low heat and have the meat to brown. I just heat the skillet up on med heat and put a chop in it cooks very slow and nice. I do need to use any oil or breading. I love this skillet.

  5. If you are going to buy only one pan this is the one. It's perfect for every use as far as size and depth, and wipes clean! A little on the heavy side but that's the quality it's made of. The only thing missing is a lid, but you can use one of thoses universal size lids for all pans. For such a quality pan I would like to see a quality glass perfect fit lid. Other than that you can't find better.

  1. This griddle pan is great. Plenty of room for two grilled cheeses at once. I have also cooked bacon on it. The non-stick surface is awesome and clean up is so easy because nothing sticks!

  2. Nice quality feel and performs extremely well -- even heat distribution and amazing non-stick surface. Even my mother raves about this griddle!

  3. I love this pan, it comes in so handy for a bunch of different uses. The even heating from center to edge is amazingly consistent...browning everything the same no matter where it's placed. Also a great "one pan" breakfast pan...eggs, sausage, hash browns...all in same pan...You have to get this beauty, it will serve you well.

  1. This is a very convenient addition to the kitchen cookery; food is heated equally and slides right off, without problems. Use of a little PAM (Olive Oil Version) helps the cause. So far, no complaints - great product!

  2. The worst of my three Anolon pans. Non-stick not as goo, drain spout in corner by handle, should have an assist handle for draining. Great grip, though!

  3. any analon product i have purchased has lived up to a high degree of quality.
This grill has also been a great product. Highly recommended

  4. I bought this because I wanted something big enough to fry six eggs at a time.
The first time I used it was to fry some eggs on it and they stuck like crazy.
I knew from past experience using an Anolon Advanced 10" griddle and our Anolon skillets that that shouldn't have happened.
It took a little work but I got all of the stuck on egg off using a Scotch brite and tried it again.
No sticking this time so if you want to fry eggs on this griddle before it's been washed a few times you need to do more than wash it in warm soapy water the first time.

  1. I've had this cookware for about 4 years. It is not truly dishwasher safe. Over time the exterior has become quite dull and ugly. It seems to have faded in an inconsistent way. Even though this cookware has a "lifetime" warrantee, Anolon will not replace the cookware if it becomes damaged from being cleaned in the dishwasher.

  2. I bought this pan because I needed a new wok. I'm normally not a big fan of non-stick pans because I cook a lot of Asian foods that normally require high temperatures. But after reading the reviews, I bought this pan to try it out. It has performed very well. I do have to spend a bit more time preheating the pan, but because of its heavy mass, once this pan is hot, it remains hot. Cooking Asian foods in it is a breeze. Though it doesn't provide the same flavor as a carbon-steel wok would, most of us, including myself, don't have the multi-burner gas stove to get a wok hot enough to get that Chinese restaurant flavor. This pan has become my everything pan, from breakfast to dinner, Chinese to Italian. Its ease of use and cleaning caused me to buy one for my sister.

  3. One of the best I have ever used.
Very easy to clean and not too heavy, compare to some of the other ones I had in the past. It is not light though, my wife does have trouble handle it using just one hand.
    NO lid.
for the past month, I am truly happy with it. my sisiter has a similar one for about 2-3 years and it is still going strong.

  4. Non stick, heat even. I love this product. The only concern is that it is a little bit too heavy for me.

  5. I was actually very upset that I had purchased this pan instead of the 12" Fry Pan. I had trouble getting Amazon to exchange it for what I really wanted. Amazon wouldn't so I ended up purchasing the 12" Fry Pan separately. I love both pans. They are great. I never thought that I would be so pleased with cookware - I mean I rarely get excited about any "thing" - but I love Anolon. It is a little heavy, but it cooks things quickly, evenly, and with NO sticking. Then, the clean up is a swipe of a sponge. Wow.

The Stir-Fry pan was actually great, by the by, it collects the water on the bottom-center for quick evaporation.

  1. First off, I am a fan of all Anolon products, but this griddle is wonderful. Cook multiple sandwiches at one time, on one pan. Cook a single giant omelette with different fillings at the top, middle, and bottom sections for guests. It heats up quite nicely and fairly evenly considering the middle is not on a burner. I use this far more than I expected and would recommend it to anyone. Several guests I've cooked for have gone on to buy one for themselves after seeing the varied practical uses for it.
