  1. I haven't used all of the items in this set, but the ones I used are great. Definitely not sticky.
The handles do get hot, but just use oven mits.
    Good quality.

  2. Ive been using this set for about 2 months now. So far there are no signs of wear. They feel sturdy and cook evenly. I'm pretty happy with them. A similar set from Beds, Bath, and Beyond will run $200-500. I had a similar style set that I bought at Sam's Wholesale Club. I believe the brand was Member's Mark. They were wearing out pretty quickly and for some reason the oil seemed to stain the sides. But with this set it's not the case. I'm guessing the metal is a harder one.

  3. My tender hands find the handles on the covers don't stay cool enough for me to use without pot holders. It's also heavier than I expected, but I guess eventually I will build up some muscles in my arms to easily handle the bigger pots. The width of the steamer insert makes it easy for me to steam larger plates of food!

  4. I had an old set of these pans for the last 10 years. They still are really in good shape. I seen these on sale and just had to get a spare for when my old ones finally give out.I love them!!

  5. The non stick coating on this set is fantastic. You can easily cook eggs and meat without any need for oils or spray. The lids fit well, and the pans feel good in your hand. The handles on the stockpots heat up pretty quickly, but all of the pans and pots are oven safe, so that's a big plus if you like to transfer from the stovetop to the oven. Great set. Watch the price because it fluctuates a lot. I got mine for $149 here on amazon.

  1. These pans are an excellent value. They are well made and easy to clean. They heat evenly and the clear lids make covered cooking very easy.

  2. My wife loves her new pots for cooking. I do the clean up and it is much better than our previous T-Fal set.

  3. We have bought several other pieces in the last six months, and have never been so impressed with cookware. However, we were disappointed when we received the 8-piece set since it wasn't quite what was described. Instead of a 1-qt saucepan it was 1.5-qt, and instead of 3-qt saute, it was a 10-in skillet. I'm not sure where to go from here because I also bought a 10-in skillet separately.....

  4. I love Advanced Analon cookware. I have been cooking with it for over 3 years and purchased this set to replace another brand of non-stick cookware. The first piece of Advanced Analon I bought was the 3 quart pot with the pouring lip. I use this all the time for draining off liquids from veggies and pasta. Try it, I think you will be happy with the quality, the glass lids, and weight of this brand of cookware.

  5. Let me first say that Analon seems to be fantastic cookware. I bought this 8 piece set for my wife a few weeks ago and I can't complain about the cookware itself so 5 stars for that. However, that being said, the contents of this set are mislabeled and have been for almost 2 years according to other reviews. Below is what is listed as the contents:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
This 8-piece set outfits a kitchen with essential pots and pans. It consists of 1-quart and 2-quart saucepans with lids; a 10-inch, 3-quart sauté pan; an 8-quart stockpot with a lid; and an 8-inch skillet. This cookware carries a lifetime warranty against defects should be hand washed. --Fred Brack

    What's in the Box
1-quart saucepan with lid; 2-quart saucepan with lid; 10-inch, 3-quart sauté pan; 8-quart stockpot with lid; 8-inch skillet
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

You WILL NOT get the 3-quart saute pan. In its place you will receive a 10-inch open skillet. A rather serious downgrade but the set is still well worth the money. Just know what you are actually getting.

  1. I love this set. It heats evenly and can go from stovetop to oven. I wish the saucepans were a little larger but I would purchase it again nevertheless.

  2. Absolutely love this cookware! I cook a lot, and in the past I've really hated having to hand wash my pots and pans, but also really needed a good set. I thought I'd give these a try, and WOW - I just love them.

  3. I have used the braiser nearly everyday for over a year now. I recently purchased the 12 pc. set (most are larger sizes than 10 pc.), the 6qt. and 8qt. wide stockpots as well. So far, I am extremely pleased with performance and price.

I am a little concerned that I don't see this line featured on Anolon's website anymore, does anyone know why?

Based on the instructions and other reviews I have seen, it is extremely important to not use these pans over "high" heat; I have yet to see a non-stick line that "okays" high stovetop temperatures.

I have decided to NOT put these in the dishwasher on a regular basis; we have extremely hard water here, which may affect performance over time and they clean up so easily, you don't really need to. When I do put them in the dishwasher, I use a short, low temp. cycle as well as a small amount of mild detergent.

Since I am the lone cook over the holidays, just being able to put them in the dishwasher once in a while is worth it!

  4. Bought this set at an incredibly low price of 163 no shipping. Wow,did i luck out.Cooks evenly on an electric ceramic top, goes from stovetop to oven with no problems.Cleanup is great, but I do pay special attention to the rivets inside pan since some feedback has said food can accumulate there.I am now checking Amazon daily for another deal for 2 of my friends.I also purchased a 12 inch fry pan, once again at a great price using Amazon.Love it ,love it, love them all. So easy to clean I don't use dish washer.

  5. Can't complain for price paid (one oh nine, shipped). These are well made and high quality. The only drawback as mentioned by another reviewer are the fact that these pans are on the small size- I guess I'll wait for another sale from A-zon for larger pieces. Heat up quickly and evenly on my new glass-top range, easy cleanup.

  1. I originally had a more expensive set of Calphalon that I just never got on well with. The hard anodized finish could not be put in a dishwasher and was prone to scuffs and scratches (see my review of the Calphalon One set). Great cookware, but a headache to clean and care for. After looking at nearly a dozen different sets here on Amazon, I chose this one by Anolon.

This cookware appears well-made and cleans up easily. The silicone/rubber handles are the most comfortable I ever encountered on pots and pans. Each piece in this set is built like a tank. I honestly believe these pans could take a bullet and keep on cooking. The downside? Tanks are heavy, and so is this cookware. But you get what you pay for. You could buy a much cheaper, lighter all-aluminum set that will be warped/worn out and look like crap in a year or two, or go ahead and make an investment that will last for a generation or more. Best of all, this set of Anolon is dishwasher-safe. That cuts your clean-up time considerably.

Yes, there are better sets available, but not for this price. If you really, REALLY do a lot of cooking ( or own a restaurant), go ahead and invest in one of the more expensive sets. But for a great, durable, all-around set of everyday-use cookware, Anolon Advanced Clad should fit the bill nicely. Price-wise, Anolon fills a void between the cheaper sets by Farberware, Circulon and others, but still less than the high-dollar sets by Calphalon and All-Clad.

  1. I've had this set for about 6 months now and there's nothing obviously amiss except for the fact that the steamer insert does not fit snugly onto the stockpot. I'm not sure how they could have missed this since the lids generally form a nice seal during cooking. The end result is that I've been steaming things for up to twice the cooking time to get the same results as a Circulon stainless clad set (with steamer insert) that I've been using for over 5 years. If you do a lot of steaming, you might be disappointed. This newer set doesn't get as much use at a vacation home so it's not the end of the world for us.

  2. We looked at alot of cookware and compared alot of prices. It came down to this set or the Anolon Titanium set. In the end we went with the Stainless and are happy that we did. Quality is great. We also bought the Anolon Stainless Steel 15 pc. Knife set and are just as pleased with them.

  3. I spent weeks researching cookware. Even wrote up notes after reviewing exactly what size and type of pots and pans I need given what and how I cook. Then researched everything on Amazon and Cooks Illustrated. Almost settled on some aluminum disk cookware when I found the little-mentioned Anolon Advanced Clad line. It was everything I'd wanted but couldn't find from any other manufacturer - rubber handles, metal lids, fully clad aluminum, attractive enough for a pot rack. Wow! The quality is amazing, I'm not kidding when I say it seems even more durable and well-built than the All Clad I went to try out at the store. The quality is great, the cool rubber handles extremely comfortable, and even the pieces were just right for me (I really wanted a steamer and just about nobody offered one). Everything heats up nicely, retains an even heat, and cleans up better than my old Costco nonstick. It also has well-fitting metal lids, my last set had glass which I could never get clean and always worried about dropping.

I got a super price from a marketplace seller for a brand new set. And I loved it all so much that I ended up buying the saucier, an 8" nonstick fry pan, the 13" grill pan, and quite a bit of the suregrip (no potholders needed) bakeware. Anolon turned out to have exactly what I was looking for at a price I could afford. I'm excited about cooking again.

  4. I ordered my pots on 1/23 and have been using them occasionally since they arrived shortly thereafter. The first thing I noticed was after the first use, the small saucepan's bottom was heavily discolored. I went to their website and found the reccomendation to clean it with a bit of lemon juice and that helped, but did not completely remove the discoloration. I figured it was just a fluke with the single saucepan and continued to use my new pots. Now *all* of my new pots (with the exception of the ones I have not yet used) show discoloration at the bottom. So much for "stainless" steel.

I purchased this set to replace an extremely cheap Farberware stainless steel set that lasted over 8 years. The Anolon pots are constructed much nicer than the Farberware pots, they are better balanced and the silicon handles are awesome. However, it took the Farberware set 8 years to get to this degree of discoloration and it was the only reason I got rid of them. Now I'm sorry that I threw them out before properly testing these out.

I emailed Anolon shortly after the first pot discolored and I have not yet heard back from them. Since they are not interested in addressing my issue in a prompt manner: these pots will be making their way back to Amazon's warehouse as soon as I pack them up.

  5. I bought the 10-piece set after considering some of the more established stainless-clad cookware sets (All-XXXX, etc.) The pans are perfectly balanced, and I actually like the silicone handle grips more than I expected. (I originally wanted the all-metal grips like in a professional kitchen.)

I've put the set to a lot of use already -- the pans clean up great with a scotch-brite pad. No complaints here. Anolon is a Kitchen-Aid brand -- no surprise, everything they do is top-notch.
