1. I have had some Berndes pans before but needed to replace my pots. These cook very nicely, nice to see the cooking thru the lid. NOTHING sticks and clean up is a breeze. The knobs on the lids didn't match my older ones but I was able to contact a Berndes rep. and obtain some of the older ones. The lid knob pictured was the older one not the newer lid knob that was sent. The new ones are a silver color not black.

1. I wanted a product that I could brown meat without sticking, and thats exactly what I got, and more. I was able to cook pancakes, eggs and sausage in the same pan without sticking, or the need to clean after each item...I've never been able to do that before. Being German made was a plus, because I know the Germans make superior products. I was so impressed that I bought the larger 13" sauteuse. If you're tired of crappy cookware, buy this product, you wont regret it. Berndes is a buy.

1. I've been a Berndes lover. I have not seen them sold in the stores for some reason. I got my first set of Berndes eight years ago and the coating just started to come off a little bit. They heat up evenly and are very durable. I like non-stick pots and pans but most of them are cheaply made. If you like non-stick professional pots and pans this is the one to go for. I have been using the new sets of pots. They are really great.



2. These kitchen pots are heavier than most; difficult for older citizens to lift and safely move on stove top. Exceptionally well made. One piece arrived with defective lid knob which was quickly and politely replaced. Slow to heat but retains temperature well. Fry pan does not brown well. Easy to clean!

1. My wife bought our first Berndes SignoCast saute pan at a cooking demonstration. After cooking scrambled eggs, just wipes clean with a sponge. We were so impressed we bought a full set and gave away our other cookware. We have now started buying it as gifts for all our kids.

1. We purchased 2 full sets for each of our homes. They guarantee that the paint will not chip off. Since you cannot put them in a dishwasher, we hand washed them using a soft sponge. One side being cloth and the other side being a plastic material. Over a period of about 2 years, the paint started chipping off the top rims. We sent 3 of them back without lids along with a check to cover shipping. They sent us 3 new pots with lids in 4 weeks. A good thing about the pots is that once they are heated up, you can cut the burner down. The pots have not scratched our glass top ranges. Glass lids are excellent. Food does not stick inside.



2. I have been using these products for several years now. The quality and cooking quality are first class in all aspects. They are made like pans costing 3x as much. The outsides of all items are non stick coated for easy clean up. They are made in Germany with a very high level of craftsmanship.



3. We actually purchased this set about 3 years ago. I came across it here on Amazon and though I would take a second a write a review. This cookware is amazing! Cooks evenly, cleans up instantly, and after almost 3 years of use, it is still like brand new. Very heavy duty, strong non-stick coating, and will not warp like the cheap stuff.

   If you are considering a new cookware set, do not hesitate to purchase anything by Berndes, it is worth the money.




4. I got this set for x-mas and it is fantastic. The 11" skillet has steep sides so it holds an entire meal, while the smaller skillet is perfect for eggs or small jobs. The stock pot works wonderfully for gumbo. I have not had anything burn with this set and clean up is as simple as warm water and a sponge. The glass lids all fit perfectly. I did have one lid handle that was attached backwards, but 5 seconds with a screwdriver fixed that. Must have been hitting the beer a bit heavy that morning in the factory :)

   The stuff is MASSIVE, so make sure you have large cabinets to store them and strong arms to lift them. I have dinged up the skillet a bit but the non-stick coating is thick enough so small scratches do not get through, so it still performs well. Compared to the thin, warped, scratched stainless and non-stick junk I had before, these pots and pans are just fantastic. I only gave them 4 stars because I don't have a lot of experience with high quality cookware and there could be something better out there, who knows?

1. We purchased this pot as a replacement for one we had previously owned. It's exactly what we wanted and came quickly. We didn't receive notice of when it was coming, but it was delivered promptly.
