1. First, this is a nice-quality Boston shaker.
   
   But... any bar supply place will sell you a similar-quality 28 oz Boston shaker top (the metal cup) for $10, often less... and pint glasses (with no annoying printing on them) are $1.95 at any Crate and Barrel. The combination works just as well as this thing, and looks exactly the same (again, minus the printing on the glass), for a lot less money. I don't understand where the markup comes from.



2. This shaker is crafted very well. I bartend, and use this in my home. the fitting of the glasses provides a good seal when mixing. Very effective set.



3. Wonderful shaker! I dont think the glass is thin at all, Im not about to go dropping it on my counter top though. Can have ice cubes in it no problems while shaking. The basic glass makes it easy to read!



4. A great Boston shaker, but I'm not sure what I had to spend $50 for a pint glass and a thin piece of stainless steel.



5. This shaker works just great, with a proper seal between the two halves. Unfortunately, the glass broke very easily on mine. I didn't drop it on the floor or anything, but merely knocked it over on the granite counter. It shattered. This is unacceptable.

1. This shaker is a piece of garbage. For starters, the shipper sends it to you in the retail box with no padding. If that doesn't ensure that the shaker will be bent when it gets to you, you'll wish that it was, because the shaker is worthless. The 'stainless' steel is rusting after only 2 months, and the shaker top is infuriatingly impossible to remove, because it sits inside the 24 oz. resevoir. I'm getting the high-rated Ultimo 24-ouncer and sending this one to the Chinese junk heap where it belongs. Better yet, back to the seller for a refund on the 'lifetime warranty'.

1. I bought the pink, purple, silver and green for a girls night in DIVA party & we decorated then with paint & stickers. They were perfect for everyone to do their own cocktail in; and they are small enough so it doesn't get over done. Acrylic shakers--won't last forever, but great as favors & for parties.



2. I bought twelve of these personal cocktail shakers to give as favors for my bridal shower. I bought them in red, pink, lime, orange, blue and purple and the colors are very striking.
   
   The shakers are made of acrylic, which seems pretty durable. I made a drink to see if all the ingredients and ice would fit and they did. I'm really happy with the purchase and saw that they have a 4-piece set for the holidays. I'm thinking that would be adorable in our christmas stocking. :)

1. When I compared WMF's "Manhattan" and "Loft" lines of Boston style shakers, Amazon showed that the Loft was out of stock for a month. However, I checked back and saw that it became available before I even received the Manhattan, so I ordered the loft as well. I'm glad I did. The glass section is the identical shape, with the only difference being the markings. The S.S. section is very similar, with the only difference in the curved shape of the Loft style. While I prefer the Loft style aesthetically, the curve also helps hold the glass section a bit tighter when stored inside the S.S. section. I also found that my pint glasses will work as backups, if I ever break the supplied glass.
   
   I ordered the Boston Style with a little hesitation, as I've seen numerous reviews stating the difficulty for novices to obtain an adequate seal. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have any problems. The Loft strainer is also very nice and matches and fits perfectly with both shakers.



2. This style of shaker takes a little practice to get use to, but once you do it speeds up the mixing process. The most you can do at one time is two drinks unless you cut the ice down to a few cubes. Well made and very easy to clean.

1. You can't go wrong with the Bullet. My sister gave me this for a present and I have had absolutly no problems using it! I have used mine for a year now and I totally recommend this product to anyone and everyone.



2. I read these reviews before buying this item. Let me just say if you had any doubts about this product, don't! The cap is easy to get on and off and you CAN shake with the cap on. The shaker does get a little frosty but it's not THAT cold and it looks cool. I love this shaker!! It holds alot more liquid and it is so fun to use! BUY IT NOW!!!



3. This thing is great. Not only does it look sharp on my barback it is very funtional. The built in strainer and extra capacity make for a very practical shaker for mixing more than one drink at a time. The Stainless steel shaker is easy to clean and does not carry drink flavors over when you change drinks as long as you rinse it out. Use a rag ( I use a Crown Royal Bag) to hold the shaker, it gets cold. The strainer tends to get trapped in the bullet lid when shaking drinks, especially when shaking with ice, its best to leave it off



4. This is my first cocktail shaker, and I bought it only after reading the other reviews on this website. I am not at all disappointed. The shaker is spacious, which is key when you're making martinis for four people at once. The striking design is certainly a conversation piece, and I don't know which my friends enjoy more: the drinks themselves or watching me make them. The only drawback I can see is that sometimes the strainer piece will become lodged in the "bullet tip" cap. . . cold ice not only shrinks the container, but lowers the pressure between capped strainer and bullet tip, creating troublesome suction. For practicality, the bullet tip should be left off when shaking, but it's not that hard to remedy even if it does happen.

   Five stars!




5. I have searched high and low for a cocktail shaker that was large enough to make a "batch" of drinks and that didn't leak. Finally, I found one. This shaker doesn't leak like so many others and is a good size. I'm looking forward to using it for many years to come.
