1. stops water-rings on glass tables for the most part. the non-absorbent top doesn't prevent condensation from getting on the table though. i wouldn't recommend this for use on woodtables or furniture. but then i knew when i bought these that they would absorb all the water. they do look fantastic on my coffee table though. as long as you know going in that these aren't the most functional coasters you'll be alright.



2. These coasters show off beautifully when the holder is placed on a table. They are very light and are protective of highly polished furniture.

1. I received these thirstystones today and just love them. They are a little different in color then what the picture shows, but I like the actual color better. The picture here looks almost a gold color, but the actual ones are more earth tones.



2. The actual coasters are more vibrant and colorful than they are depicted. A little more garish, and less sophisticated than I was going for. Still, they are Thirstystone, and if I don't keep them, they might be one of those back-of-the-closet christmas gifts for someone.
