  1. This is a great pan for making shortbread. Much prefer it to the clay one it replaced.

  2. These are fantastic. I already own 3 of the snowflake pans for Christmas (which everyone LOVED with the included recipe) and one of these. I had to order another so I could get two pans going at a time during the rest of the year. (Snowflakes in Texas summer just didn't fit). I'd recommend this to anyone. Nice, solid, heavy pan. No cheap aluminum. Non stick works perfect when you use bakers friend cooking spray. Clean up is fairly easy with only one or two flecks getting caught in the design. Definitely much better than the pottery ones which you risk breaking, chipping or just plain cracking.
I expect I will have these a long time.

  3. Quick delivery and my order arrived without damage. Thank you!

  4. Nice pan, with the style and quality you expect from NordicWare. Only thing is that it's 9" square, not 9" x 11" as advertised. The folks at Amazon.com must have included the handles of the pan in their measurements, LOL!

  1. I have now used this pan several times and I am really pleased with it. Nothing sticks, the pan is easy to clean and my cakes turn our perfectly every time.

  2. This was the second highest rated bundt pan in Cook's Illustrated. I used an oil/flour baking spray and my bundt cake popped out with ease. It's lightweight but perfect for me since I only use it a few times a year.

  1. This Bundt pan is quick to clean and bakes the dessert so evenly and nice. I'm glad I purchased the product and it came to me undamaged and sooner than I expected.

  2. This is a very sturdy cake pan. It is definately not like the cheap, dime store cookware. It has yet to scratch & I use it regularly & treat it not too tenderly. It seems to brown the cakes quicker than other lighter weight bundt pans I have had in my life, so be careful when choosing the temp. on your oven. I lower mine for this pan. It will last me a long time I'm sure, unlike other cheaper, lighter bundt pans I've had in my time. A bit pricey, but worth the investment if you bake a lot.

  3. I have purchased a number of non-stick cooking pots and pans over the past few months. They are all excellent; I tell everyone about my wonderful pans.

This bundt pan was described as non-stick so I was enthused.

The day it arrived I washed it in warm, soapy water, dried it with a cloth towel, and poured in the batter. Cake looked beautiful when it was baked. i inverted it over the plate, waited a few minutes and then removed the pan, expecting a lovely cake on the plate.

In fact, there was nothing on the plate; the cake remained in the pan. My son was happy because he actually likes unfrosted cake. He scooped it out of the pan with a wooden spoon.

The pan came in a large Amazon box because I had purchased another item at the same time. The bundt pan was not in its own box, it was just in the larger box. There was no wrapping or protection. It did not have any instructions nor did it have the promised recipe.

If it wasn't such a hassle to return items to Amazon I would have done so. The pan turns out beautiful cakes if the pan is heavily sprayed.

Having spent close to 200.00 on pots and pans that were exactly as described I did not expect to get a cake pan that was so inferior. If this had been my first purchase with Amazon, it would have been my last.

  4. This Bundt Pan is great! Cake comes out nice and easy! No mess to clean.

  5. I got this as a gift for my Mom. She makes the best pound cakes in the world, now she also makes the prettiest. She raves about this pan, how it never ever sticks. She tells everyone about it and how consistently well it bakes cakes. I can't wait to get the Sand Castle version of this pan for her!

5 comments about Kaiser Bakeware Noblesse 9-Inch Nonstick Springform Pan.

  1. I expected this to be a great pan based on ratings here and from a well-regarded cooking show. But after only 4-5 uses, it needs to be replaced. Despite the "nonstick" surface, both my husband and I have had real trouble getting food to release from this pan completely, and have resorted to soaking it or using scouring sponges in an attempt to get the baked food off. Probably as a result of the soaking & scrubbing, the latch is rusting and the nonstick surface has peeled completely away from the bottom rim of the pan (where it comes into contact with the base) and is starting to peel from the inner surfaces of the pan. For the money, I expected something much sturdier.

  2. I was looking for new springform pans and decided to try this brand out (the price was right at the time). I can honestly say that I LOVE this pan. I use it not only for making cheesecakes, but for regular cakes, and even quiches! Clean-up is as simple as soap and water and is not flimsy like other brands I have had in the past. If the pan can withstand my using it to death, then it's awright with me. I am looking forward to buying other items from this particular brand. They are well worth it.

  3. i saw this pan on a cooking show. when i saw it on amazon, i had to get it. it is the best springform pan i have used. the edge makes it much easier to remove the cake off the pan, and put it on a plate.

  4. I am a pastry chef, and this is the pan I use every day. In fact I am ordering four more tonight. Since the pan is dark, if you are going to bake for a long time, I suggest you line the pan with Reynolds non-stick foil. I do for ease of de-panning, but it also helps keep crusts from overbrowning.

And phooey, I never bake cheesecakes in a water bath. If you have a convection oven there is no need.

  5. This pan is the best cheesecake pan I've used. My cheesecakes bake evenly and NEVER leak (I bought it to replace one that cost the same amount but leaked all over my oven). Highly recommend. I've never had anything burn on the bottom, so if you have that problem, have your oven calibrated, or make sure you put the pan in the center of the oven - not too close to the heating element. My cheesecakes come out perfectly every time. I will never buy another brand!

To keep the nonstick coating from coming off, don't cut the cheesecake while it's on the base (or let the cheesecake warm up enough that you can use a non-sharp knife), and don't use a scouring sponge on it. If you spray Pam on the base before making the crust, it will easily come off so you can put it on a serving plate. I used a flat, flexible frosting spatula and slide it under the cheesecake to release it, then gently push it onto a plate. Wash the pan right away before anything gets stuck to it, and you won't need more than a regular sponge. Don't let the springform part soak - the metal bracket can rust.

With proper care this pan should last for a long time.

4 comments about Wilton Decorator Preferred 6 by 2 Inch Round Pan.

  1. I bought this to make a personal 'smash' cake for my son's first birthday. Directions on the label were good and it seems to be quality bake ware.

  2. This is an excellent size round pan, 6x2 inch. It is thick and does not stain. Very easy to clean and good quality. It is a perfect size for steaming blossom and layer cakes during festive seasons.

  3. I got two of these. Pan is deep enough so if you want to bake only one-layer little cake, it does pretty good job. I love thoes little cakes I end up creating using these amazing, cute cake pans. They are made of thick aluminium base and heats up evenly. So cakes will be evenly and thoroughly backed. I love these cuties. :)

  4. These are really great heavy duty pans that would not look out of place in a professional bakeshop. I think this six inch size is perfect for making a birthday cake, which I did - eight perfect sized pieces of cake, with each layer torted to make a four layer cake - and they baked up quite well with just a small rise in the center.

I got two of these and they look like they should last just about forever, so I hope to use them again and again, maybe on a tiered cake. I am very happy with this purchase.

  1. I totally love this pan!

I bake cakes all the time using this and other Hoffritz pans and they are absolutely wonderful. I was first impressed by the weight of the pan, the non-stick sufrace, and the even heat distribution. I noticed a remarkable difference in the quality of my cakes from the very first time I used the pan. Not only do my cakes look and taste great, I never have to worry about my cakes getting stuck to the pan or being lopsided.

I'll never buy a cheap pan again. It's really is worth the extra couple of dollars. I doubt I'll ever have to replace any of the pans I've bought from them. I also purchased the Hoffritz springform pans and 9" rounds, same great results.
