2 comments about Calphalon Classic Bakeware 10-Inch Round Nonstick Angel Food Cake Pan.
- Calphalon Classic Bakeware 10-inch round nonstick angel food cake pan was exactly what I needed. I have a Jewish Apple Cake that I make, and I needed this type of pan. I had to give away my old pan and get a new one because I have Celiac Disease. Anything that had flour in it had to be given away. It has been a long process. I could not find this pan locally. I tried making the cake in a 2 piece angel food pan. What a mess! It leaked out the bottom all over the place. So, I love my new pan. It solved the problem and works wonderfully!
- I didn`t realise it was so heavy. Shipping costs to South America a three times the price of the product.
On the other side it is a great product.

- we we so disappointed when we opened it and it was in tiny pieces. we made the best of it and 'glued' it together with frosting but will buy 'cookie' houses from local stores from now on and pay a little more.

4 comments about Nordic Ware Square Cake Pan with Lid.
- After serving the family for 20 years, we needed to replace our two battered covered 13X9 pans. Tried this one and within 3 uses, it was pitted and developed at least 1 pin hole. Just cooked our usual stuff - bought another brand to replace this one and so far so good with the different brand.
- The Nordic Ware bakeware is definitely pro thickness and quality. If you've never tried plain aluminum bakeware, go ahead. You will not be disappointed. Nothing bakes like plain aluminum bakeware. This stuff will last a lifetime. I've never had any problems with sticking, just a light greasing is all that's necessary. Even if you get a little crazy and roast something in it, it will come clean after a short soak and some scrubbing. Many non-stick pieces would be ruined. Having the lid is really nice too.
I bought one of these, the 9" x 13" size that's also popular in recipes, a half sheet for cookies and they are all fantastic. I will definitely be adding other pieces when my cheap, non-stick ones start to peel...
- But, the pan and lid had significant scratches all over. They didn't appear to have ruined the pan so I went ahead and used it.
The rolls baked well, but when removing from the oven to check them, the pan made crackling noises. Not sure what the noises were but the rolls were good.
- I was thrilled to find that Nordic Ware, a highly respected company in the bakeware business, had this pan available.
First, it's the 9" x 9" size. This size can be hard to find. If you do much baking, you will run across recipes calling for a 9" x 9" pan; adapting the recipe to an 8" x 8" size is difficult and the results are not reliable.
I find this 9" X 9" size perfect for brownies and small-family cakes. It's easier to remove bars and brownies from this size pan, as you won't have to "dig them out"! This pan will give you 9 generous servings.
More importantly, this pan is made of aluminum. Aluminum is the best surface for baking, as chefs will tell you. Much of what is in the stores today is cheap steel. Steel is a poor conductor of heat, bakes unevenly and burns food. Aluminum is an excellent heat conductor, and will give you perfectly cooked, and evenly browned, cakes, bars and cookies.
I'm thrilled that aluminum is appearing in stores again, after 10-20 years of being hard to find. I hope a new generation will discover the benefits of baking with aluminum - it's the best!!
This Nordic Ware pan is made of thick, heavy aluminum. It is not flimsy, and will not warp with use.
As a bonus, the baking pan comes with a plastic lid. This makes storage of your cake or brownies so convenient - no plastic wrap or foil required - and you can see how much is left!
One hint, when cleaning aluminum pans, don't let water or suds sit in them for hours or overnight. This can cause discoloration (though it won't affect baking). Fill with soapy water and wash promptly. Your pan will clean easily and stay beautiful for a lifetime.

- Again, I was unable to find this item in any store. Finally, I found it online. They work great and my family feels like a 3-layer cake is "more" than a 2-layer cake!
- These pans are basic, non-stick cake pans. They are nice pans at a nice price. For baking I will use these every time. I Have used this inexpensive bakeware for years. Never had a problem with it.
- It is so hard to find 8 inch cake pans esp non stick. Baker's secret always provides a good product.
- I bought it for $1.99. It was really good price, and I always trust Baker's Secret! All of my baking tools are from Baker's Secret, and they never let me down.
- I purchased this for $1.99 here on Amazon.
It is great for making cakes. I very good value it is. Does the job.

- This is nice heavy weight and quality pan. My primary reason to purchase is to use it as a liner for a "10 inch cast iron dutch oven...
- I will buy this type again when I need cake pans. They are durable, light-colored (for even heat distribution) and release the cake easily. Nice product.
- I am very pleased with this item. shipping was very fast, too. G Woodcox
- This is an excellent cake pan. I bought my first Wilton pans 2 years ago when baking cakes for my wedding, and my only regret was that I didn't purchase Wilton pans years ago. They are durable, bake evenly, and retain their shape despite my less than tender care in storage. I find the 8 & 10 inch pans the most useful, 8" for family cakes, 10" for bigger parties. You may want to use some parchment paper to line the bottom to ensure an easy release of your cake. And I have now purchased 2 of each size, so that I can bake 2 same sized layers concurrently.
- This is a great pan for cheesecakes that need to be cooked inside of pan of water (for example, Craig Clairborne's cheesecake recipe). It is heavy duty aluminum with a solid rim. It has worked well for me, and I anticipate that it will last a long time.

- I love everything in this brand of cookwear and this set is great. It is heavy and not stick and bakes beautifully. I give it an A+
- I've already used these several times and I haven't had any issues with burning or cake sticking to the bottom or sides, so it gets cool points in that department. However, as long as I can remember, my mom always used 8-inch pans for her double layer cakes, and now I see why: because the 9-inch pans are slightly wider, it makes a significant difference in height if you use a boxed cake mix. If you bake from scratch, no problem, just make 1 1/2 times the normal amount of batter. If you use a boxed cake mix, you have 2 options: use 1 box and deal with your flat cake, or use 2 boxes so you can have a layer cake with a good height and use the extra batter for cupcakes...I prefer option #2. But if you haven't bought these yet, do yourself a favor and buy 8-inch pans.
Please note, this rating lowered to 4 because of the size, which applies to all 9-inch pans, the quality and price are both good
- I am not an expert baker but do dabble in it every now & again. I have been using these pans for some time and my cakes come out great. Good Pan-Great Price.
- The only flaw that I can see with these pans is that the cake comes out dark. When you layer the center of a double layer cake with white icing, you can see the dark center as well because it baked dark on the bottom of each pan. I'm not sure what can be done to fix this using these pans. I only know that when I use my old pans that are aluminum (silver), I don't have the same problem. The cakes come out perfect.
By the way, this happens know matter what cake you make. I made a white cake, a yellow cake, a lemon cake and even a chocolate cake. All of them came dark on the bottom with this pan, and seemed a bit dryer too, not as moist. I am disappointed and I am going to buy new aluminum pans.
- I bought this product to use with holiday candy making. My peanut brittle, butterscotch and fudge did not stick at all. Great product and it fit my needs

- I hate this pan. Cakes never come out with a flat bottom. The center is higher than the edges resulting in a pedestal effect. I've made at least 4 cakes with this pan and had the same results with each cake. I'm going shopping to see if I can find a Bundt pan of the old model.
- This pan has a nice sturdy feel and what is touted to be a non-stick coating. The coating appears to be a good quality surface. All of that merely proves that looks can be deceiving.
I've tried coating the wretched thing with a heavy layer of non-stick spray. I've tried baking spray containing flour. I've tried Crisco and flour. I've tried Crisco alone. I've also tried a number of different recipes.
Every. Single. Recipe. Stuck.
The foul thing is now going in to the trash, because if I donate it to a thrift store, some other luckless baker will undoubtedly find herself with a pile of crumbs instead of a birthday cake. I'm going to purchase a Cuisinart pan, in hopes of actually being able to produce an intact Bundt cake.
Still growling over my most recent disaster...
- The standard to judge other bundt pans! Solid and well finished. Cakes release easily with no worries. Amazon's packaging and speedy delivery was a treat.
- The cake came out with such eas, It was pleasure making a bundt cake again and it didn't stick.
- Nordic has high quality products but personally I prefer the more expensive and heavier bundt pan they make for my large bundt cakes. For most baking users will find this pan adequate. My cakes usually require the 12+ cup bundt pan.

1 comments about Range Kleen Biscuit and Brownie Pan.
- I recently moved across country, and had to forsake many of my possessions. "I can do without this biscuit pan," I thought, "I'll just stick them close together in a larger pan." Alas, Dear Reader, it just doesn't do the job. And so, I broke down and bought this replacement pan, and am so glad I did. Even if you only bake biscuits 4 times per year, you really should get this pan. It seems silly that the pan would make a big difference, but it does. It's the perfect size for baking one quantity of biscuits, and is even dark and would do well in a solar oven, all for less than 5 bucks. Now, who can ask for more than that?
