1. This is exactly what I was looking for and couldn't find in several stores. Comparable products were MUCH more expensive in the stores.



2. Bought several wearever products and all of them after a few recipes stopped working as a non-sticking surface. The cakes started sticking, cookies would cook uneven,etc... The quality of anything from Wearever Pro products (I bought several of the pan combo packaegs) are not worth the price of admission. In fact, I have a cheap set of non-stick bakeware from a competitor (costing 1/3) the price and they are still working after 5 years. I will never buy anything from this company again and I reccommend the same for anyone intersted, buy something from another company, either more expensive or cheaper you can't do any worse.

1. It takes much longer to bake a cake in this pan than the instructions say--it took a solid hour for the cake to bake completely (one box mix or one average recipe). I was worried that the edges would be burnt before the center was done, and they were quite firm and brown, but not burnt. This pan is useful for making any type of ball cake, and I have used it for my son's soccer and baseball team parties with great success. If you make and decorate the soccer ball cake, notice that the shapes outlined on the pan have five sides on the top but six sides on the rest of the pan!



2. I used this pan to make a basketball cake for my son's birthday party last year. It took a lot longer to bake than I expected (nearly an hour), but my yellow cake mix ended up having the texture of a fluffy pound cake. It tasted and "felt" very professional because of the texture. It came out of the pan perfectly, and the large lip on one side of the pan made it very easy to get it out of the oven. The cake was nice and large, yielding at least 15 servings if not more.
   
   While the pan itself has markings for a soccer ball, the instructors include designs for a basketball and baseball (a soccer ball is harder, so the marking for that make it much easier to do). It was very easy to make it a basketball, and kids and parents alike were very impressed with the results.
   
   This pan could be used to make anything that would be a half dome, like a planet, the moon, a disco ball, beach ball, etc. If you were crazy enough, you could make two batches and put them together with popsicle sticks to make a giant ball. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this pan!

1. Despite yet another, irritating reminder of how America has exported its factory jobs, this Chinese pan is well built, says it is dishwasher safe, and is a 'must', especially for one of my favorite Filipino recipes for 'Monkey Bread' (Go online to find one of a number of recipes for this deliciously easy-to-prepare dessert.).
   
   Do wash (I would still suggest hand-washing) before use and preheat in a 300 degree oven in order to remove any odd odors.
