1. With people being more aware of their diets nowadays, the size of this mini pan is perfect for a couple, a single person or a small family who do not want to indulge in too much cake but want to enjoy a little dessert once in a while. Because I can get two small cakes out of a single recipe or a cake mix, there is always an extra one to give away as a beautiful gift or to freeze for later use. If someone is sick or there is a birthday at work, these little cakes make such cute and personal presents! With just a sprinkle of confectioner's sugar on top, they light up the face of whoever gets one, "O my God! This is sooo cute!! Did you make this for me????" It makes one feel special. I have also used the pan as a gelatin mold and it was great. I bought two so I can make two cakes at once. I love them.



2. This pan is GREAT! The things we like is that it is sturdy, and is a small size for sharing cakes with friends. We are going to buy two more.



3. I love the shape of this pan, but it's too small to function as anything but a sandbox toy. Sorry,but I sent it back.



4. I purchased 4 of these and baked cakes in them the other night, all came out beautifully! If you follow the instructions you will have NO problems! I lightly buttered the insides of the pans and the cakes just slid out without sticking whatsoever. I highly recommend these if you enjoy baking and like to do individual specialty desserts! Kudos!!

1. we we so disappointed when we opened it and it was in tiny pieces. we made the best of it and 'glued' it together with frosting but will buy 'cookie' houses from local stores from now on and pay a little more.

1. I recently purchased four of these pans for a Hawaiian theme party for 170 people. The pans are absolutely stunning! Prior to receiving the pans, I tried four different recipes for cakes with pineapple and/or coconut; I wasn't really happy with any of them. When the pans arrived, lo and behold they came with a recipe!!! The recipe was simple and baked beautifully (note that the recipe that comes with the pan makes about 10 cups of batter; the pan should not be flled with more than 8 cups or it overflows). Even with the tremendous detail in this pan, the cakes released nicely (I baked 20 cakes). I found that the best way to clean these pans was to take them outside and hose them down (after they had cooled). A little bit of water pressure was all that was required to get them perfectly clean.

1. I used this to make a personal cake for the bride and groom to take with them on their honeymoon, rather than the cake topper. Very versatile since it comes in the 3 parts and had three boards that also came with it.

3. I've only made a "candy corn cake" (found in the Wilton 2006 Cake Decorating Yearbook, pg. 42) so far, and it turned out pretty good. I made the cake from scratch, and the batter was thinner than a cake mix. The color rings weren't as exact as in the picture, but it still looked pretty good! I can't wait to make more cakes!
