  1. I bake a lot and love this pan for baking loaves that require 8x4 pan. It produces nice crusty breads. However, because of the pan's folded metal construction, not unlike the Commercial Calphalon pans, crusts get stuck in the corners and are hard to clean. It is otherwise a most excellent bread loaf pan.

  2. This is the best bread pan I've ever used. It is not too dark or too light, so it promotes perfect browning. It is heavy duty. It will not rust. I have used many pans over the years and eventually they rust.

I highly recommend this pan. It will be the last one you ever buy.

  1. I bought this with my new bread bible. Every loaf has turned out brown and cooked evenly with no sticking. The only thing that I could ask more is another.

  2. After years of using every kind of loaf pan under the sun, Le Creuset is by far superior in quality. The heat distribution is even and results in tender sweet quickbread with a lovely golden crust. I also use other Le Creuset bakeware for other things and once again, the same excellent quality. I notice my cooking has IMPROVED as a result of using Le Creuset. Buy it! It is worth the price. The ease of cleaning in the loaf pan and other items is a breeze AND if you have the newer ovens with convection, anything you make turns out fabulous! I can't say enough about Le Creuset. Best quality for the money!
    Bon Appetite'!

  1. My wife loves these pans so much. I have to order 2 more of them for her baking.

  2. I'll never go without having this pan in my kitchen again.
I use it for banana bread and I've never had a problem yet. Clean up is also a breeze. It's a non stick pan and the grooves are about the size of a finger so it wipes clean in no time at all.

  3. Puspokkenyer is a very light bread with a texture similar to angel food cake, but richer because the egg yolks are included along with chopped nuts and chopped raisins. Some bakers also include chocolate chips. An English language recipe appears on this link: http://www.recipecottage.com/cgi/user.cgi?go=recipe_edit&rid=9970. In this pan the bread comes out with the ridges perfectly sized for individual slices. For a topping I keep a jar of confectioner's sugar mixed with a broken up vanilla bean. While the bread is still warm, I sift on some of this vanilla sugar before slicing. Delicious served with Vienna roast coffee.

  1. This is a great pan for making shortbread. Much prefer it to the clay one it replaced.

  2. These are fantastic. I already own 3 of the snowflake pans for Christmas (which everyone LOVED with the included recipe) and one of these. I had to order another so I could get two pans going at a time during the rest of the year. (Snowflakes in Texas summer just didn't fit). I'd recommend this to anyone. Nice, solid, heavy pan. No cheap aluminum. Non stick works perfect when you use bakers friend cooking spray. Clean up is fairly easy with only one or two flecks getting caught in the design. Definitely much better than the pottery ones which you risk breaking, chipping or just plain cracking.
I expect I will have these a long time.

  3. Quick delivery and my order arrived without damage. Thank you!

  4. Nice pan, with the style and quality you expect from NordicWare. Only thing is that it's 9" square, not 9" x 11" as advertised. The folks at Amazon.com must have included the handles of the pan in their measurements, LOL!

  1. I wish I had been able to determine beforehand that these were made in China: they are very nice, but I would rather have bought something US made.

  2. I had been looking for a blue pottery loaf pan for some time, and I'm delighted with this one. The seller packaged the product well.

  3. This is a really nice loaf pan. Very well made and looks great. It has many years of use ahead of it. It's my favorite pan for bread and meatloaf.

  1. This pan is a nice pan for the price. I paid a little over $3 per pan with the buy 4 get one free. The bread I baked in the pans had a really nice shape to it and nice rise. These pans are on the narrower side which is great for yeast bread. I oiled the pan with palm oil and the bread popped right out. Nothing stuck at all to the pans. Holds two pounds of bread dough nicely.

  2. These bread pans are the best value. They are about five bucks and they work better than my over-priced non-stick pans. Spray just a small amount of a cooking spray in the pan before adding the loaf, and there wasn't one single bread crumb stuck in the pan after baking. The loaf just fell out of the pan when I turned it upside down.

I also like the size of these, as it is hard to find this size of bread pan. Most consumer pans now days are too wide for my tastes. These have a commercial feel to them and work great. You should buy these if you are fed up with the pans at most of the kitchen stores, and don't buy into the fad of silicon cookware.

  3. The bread bakes nicely in the pan but it's awful to clean because of the way it's made-as if they folded the sides in. There are envelope like ends on the pan and everything gets caught in that when trying to clean the pan. It did well for baking but would be so much better if it was just smooth on the ends. I would not buy another like it because clean up is too much of a hassle.

  4. Only downside, it takes a few extra minutes of baking time due to the light color. Otherwise, just apply a little oil and it releases the baked goods better than the so called "Nonstick" pans that I have, for less than half the price. Hope this helps.
