1. The pan has a nice heavy weight, no seam lines for dough to get stuck and make a big mess. Good non stick coating, dark color for even browning.
   Note, it was hard to get the residual glue from the label off the pans. Soaked in hot water for awhile which helped.

1. This is another beautfully, wonderful Emile Henry baking dish. My banana bread and others come out perfect every time and, it holds a large loaf. Beauty, durability, practicality, function, serving and easy clean-up ... what more can you ask for in bake ware?

1. The pan is gold toned, unlike what is depicted in Amazon's picture of it. I bought this pan to cook meat loaf for two in and I wanted a pan with a drip rack to drain off grease (or what is sometimes referred to as a trivet). I also hoped for a pan that would be easy to clean and that would not get all funky looking after being used. I've only used this pan once, last night in fact, but so far I'm 100% satisfied with it. I had the loaf in the oven for 1 hour and 45 minutes (which was at least 15 minutes too long, as it turned out; a beef safety site says that 160 degrees is the right internal temp for meat loaf and I let it get up to 170, and consequently the loaf was too dry), and by the time I took the pan out of the oven I thought I'd never again see it looking as it looked when I received it from Amazon.
   
   But a gentle scrubbing after it cooled made it look brand new. Even though meat and ketchup were baked black onto the pan's surface, it all came off easily with soap, water, and a sponge, leaving the pan's surface completely clean. I'm impressed, because I've used pans that after the very first use can never be restored to a new looking condition.



2. Pan was smaller than conventional bread pan BUT it came without the grate to catch the droppings.



3. This meat loaf pan I bought is great! I use it several times a month. It is constructed well and cleans easily.
