  1. I've looked for a decent cookie sheet to add to my few good ones for a long time. This cookie sheet is the best ever. Very heavy weight, heats and holds oven temperature so well that you can lower your oven by 25 degrees for great results. Very sturdy, resists warping and that "ping" noise made by light weight sheets in the oven. Clean up is a breeze - so easy I eliminate using parchment paper with these sheets.

  2. This is a great cookie sheet, well worth the extra money! The cookies cook evenly and come out perfect and they slide off the pan because of the non-stick coating. Clean up is quick and easy. I highly recommend this product... durable and sturdy!

  1. the cookie sheets were on back order and took a long time to come in, I don't know if I got the same product that everyone else got, but each time I tried to bake cookies on them, the cookies would burn on the bottom in only 2 minutes at 350 degrees. (after 3 attempts, I gave up, this never happens with any other cookie sheets) Will never use them again, big disappointment.

  2. My old pans got a little rusty round the edges and the non-stick on these new ones still works.

  3. I got exactly what I expected. Great for cookies but do not use metal utinsils for removing food from these pans as it will ruin the surface of the baking sheet.

  4. I have not received this item yet, so I can't really review it

    thanks

  5. These are good quality sheets. They are a bit narrow compared to what I'm used to. I've used them everyday for about 2 months now, and there are no scratches and they clean up super easy still.

  1. I got a smaller Chicago Metallic jelly roll pan for Christmas and we've used it for just about everything because unlike our other cookie sheets it DOES NOT warp. Since we've ruined our other big cookie sheets by using the non-stick sprays on them I decided to replace them. I tried to find these pans un-coated like my other pan (I really don't trust "non-stick" things anymore) but the price on these was too good to pass up. We got them within a week of ordering them even though I used the free super saver shipping and we decided to test out the non-stick by making cookies. We didn't use parchment, or grease the pans, or anything we just put the chocolate chip pumpkin cookie batter directly on the pans then put them in the oven. Not a thing stuck and all we had to do to clean them was wipe them off. Like the directions say you have to pay attention to the temperature and cook time, and maybe reduce one or both but since they warn you I don't blame them for the handful of over done cookies when the other dozens came out beautifully. Also the non-stick coating seems to be a lot different than the stuff used on older pans... this stuff looks and feels as if it is simply a texture added to the surface of the pan, we slid them around on the metal racks in our oven (when cold and when hot), rotated them, put cold batter on them then put them back in the oven, and generally used them as we would use any of our old cookie sheets and I didn't find a scratch on them when we were done. If I could convince my mom to ditch all of our old pans (pity that is a pipe dream) I would replace every one with a Chicago Metallic pan, both non-stick and regular. I really love their products.

  2. Great little pan, when cooking for 2. Easy clean up, and just the right size.

  3. I can't find anything wrong with these (we bought two) and they do exactly what you'd want a quality, durable, non-stick roll pan to do.

They have a good weight and are very sturdy. The non-stick surface is very non-stick and easy to remove baked items and easy to clean (we clean them by hand to help longevity, which is recommended for any non-stick item).

They appear to conduct heat very well and very evenly. You may even want to lower the temp 10 degrees or cut short the baking as they heat up and conduct so well. Pay attention the first couple uses and you'll get a feel for how they compare to previous pans.

So after all that, I have to give it the highest rating just because I couldn't expect anything better.

  4. This is a very heavy duty aluminum baking sheet. The small size is great if you are baking only a few things or roasting a small chicken. It has been used many many times in my kitchen.
The only slight problem I have with it is that there is a "Chicago Metallic" logo embossed right in the center of the pan that could cause a problem if you were trying to scrape a cookie off of that spot.

  5. I like that it's not non-stick. Great item, washes up perfectly in the dishwasher.

The smaller size is great for times when I don't want to use the large ones.

I ordered two, and one arrived warped, but I got lazy and did not report it. It still works fine though.

I'd like to order more of these, but in a regular size someday.

  1. I was pleased to see that the new air bake pans were even better than mine I had used to death over the last 4 years.

  2. We are enjoying the cookie sheet and have used it. I could not find it anywhere else. Thanks

  3. Fast product delivery. Received in excellent condition. Would definitely order from this seller again.

  4. I currently own 16 of these cookie sheets. They are fabulous in that one sheet fits on each rack of your oven (conventional, not wall) and gets rid of the hassle of sliding sheets side by side. I make homemade overnight buns for large parties and they work beautifully!!! I love that they are x-large in size!!

  5. I did not expect these cookie sheets to be so large. I had looked at the size but still I did not realize that they would not begin to fit in my wall oven. I'm sure they would be great if I could use them.

  1. This cookie sheet is the best I own. The rubberized/silicone handle inserts make it easy to move and remove from the oven. More often, than not, if a recipe says to bake for 9-11 minutes, my baking is perfect at 10 minutes. This may be because my oven is calibrated. The bottoms of cookies are not "too browned" because of the dark coating and they are very easy to remove with a nylon pancake turner. Clean up is easy with just dishwashing soap and a cloth. I normally don't put any of my bakeware or pans in the dishwasher.

5 comments about Nordic Ware 3-Piece Baker's Quarter Sheet and Cake Pan Combo Pack with Lid.

  1. I've owned a 9 x 13 cake pan with a metal lid for years, so I decided a new covered pan would be nice to have. Well! Was I surprised! Right away I noticed the difference in size. This pan is at least 3/4 of an inch shorter in length, and the width isn't 9 inches either. I can set it inside my old pan. This reminds me of the canned goods we buy now that are 14-1/2 ounces. They used to be 16 oz. cans. I wasn't aware that a pan could still be labeled as a 9 x 13 when it certainly is NOT that size. That's false advertising in my book.

My old metal lid clamps down on the cake pan I already had. This plastic one does not snap on. It looks as if it would fit more securely, but it doesn't. If you're expecting airtight storage, you won't get it with this lid.

If I had purchased this pan from a local store, I'd be taking it right back because I wanted a nice lid. Oh, yes, there are also bubbles in the plastic that make it less attractive to me.

Also, the description says you can wash the pan in a dishwasher, but the label says to wash in soapy water before use. It doesn't say the product is dishwasher safe. You also have to grease the pan before each use. Because it is an aluminum pan, I would not want to put it in the dishwasher because that will cause discoloration and pitting, so I don't mind handwashing it. I'll have to see how it holds up to occasional use. Somehow I doubt it's half as good as my old one.

  2. I received these pans as a wedding gift. really liked them initially, especially the lids. two months later, and two of the pans have developed holes in them. not scratches, but actual holes through the wall of the pan. i have no idea how this happened- i can't see how food or dishwashing soap could possibly be so corrosive. obviously this is a major flaw with this product.

  3. This is a great set. I didn't realize I would also be getting a shallow pan that I could make jelly rolls and HUGE cookies on. Great buy - great product!

  4. Perfect results when baking and cleans up easier than non-stick. Doesn't darken or warp in the oven.

  5. In my twenties I bought no less than three non-stick cookie sheets while my Grandmother (an avid baker) was still using her aluminum bakeware from the 40's. I later inherited a few of her aluminum pans and I couldn't believe the difference. My cookies were no longer crispy and brown on the outside and soft in the middle...they were baked evenly. I was also able to scub the sheet and place it in the dishwasher, something you can't do with non-stick varieties. Additionally, there is no danger of having teflon flake into your baked goods. Aluminum is tried and tested and provides professional results. Buy the right cookie sheet and buy it once! I have both the half and quarter sheets by Nordic as well as the 13x9 pan. I'm a devoted fan!
