- I was looking for this product for th longest while and was thrilled to find it here--especially at this price. I am totally loving it. Well worth the wait and the weight.
- My recipe made exactly 24 cookies, they came out perfect. You wouldn't want to wash the sheet and start again - besides, the batter deflates if it sits around. I painted softened butter on with a pastry brush and dusted lightly with flour from a shaker. The cookies lifted right out and were beautifully browned. Always prepare pans before you start mixing so you can fill immediately. Madeleines are easy, and such a hit, you'll bake them often. This will justify the cost if you're thinking it's a little high.
- I wish I could have used this wonderful pan, but it was not the 13.5" stated--it was 15.5" and too big for my little oven. However, Amazon made the return hassle free, and it didn't cost me a thing to send it back--they paid for the shipping since it was their error (though it did take almost 4 weeks to get my CC credited).
I see that they have changed the size to the correct measurement, which is great. Kudos to Amazon for good solid service and paying attention to keeping things on the up and up as stated on description pages. That's important for online buying and Amazon seems to know this...!

- THIS 1 OF BEST I EVER USED///////// VERY STURDY EASY TO CLEAN AND HALF WHAT STORES CHARGE FOR TRASH ////// THIS IS A BARGAIN
- heavy gauge steel with a quality non-stick surface, what can I say? It's a baking sheet, not a sports car.
- I have now used this pan a number of time, mostly at 400 degrees or more, and it performs very well with no warping. It cleans up nicely with minimal sticking. Sure beat the old one I had.
David
- I purchased this specifically because the baking sheet should not warp. I placed three small meatloafs on the tray to avoid spillage, oven set at 350 degrees. When I removed it from the oven, the tray had warped. It was advertised as having a strong, rolled edge so it would not warp. Very disappointed. Don't know procedure for returning items; may not be worth effort and cost to send it back. Also received with a dent on the tray. We wanted a warp-free tray specifically to make Yorkshire Pudding. This is the first item from Amazon that has disappointed me.
- These are the best baking sheets I've ever had. The surface is large and they are heavy duty, solid construction. They clean-up very evenly. You deserve these, aren't your old ones all pitted and stained? These are a bit more expensive than some of the others but you're worth it....

5 comments about Nordic Ware 3-Piece Baker's Quarter Sheet and Cake Pan Combo Pack with Lid.
- I've owned a 9 x 13 cake pan with a metal lid for years, so I decided a new covered pan would be nice to have. Well! Was I surprised! Right away I noticed the difference in size. This pan is at least 3/4 of an inch shorter in length, and the width isn't 9 inches either. I can set it inside my old pan. This reminds me of the canned goods we buy now that are 14-1/2 ounces. They used to be 16 oz. cans. I wasn't aware that a pan could still be labeled as a 9 x 13 when it certainly is NOT that size. That's false advertising in my book.
My old metal lid clamps down on the cake pan I already had. This plastic one does not snap on. It looks as if it would fit more securely, but it doesn't. If you're expecting airtight storage, you won't get it with this lid.
If I had purchased this pan from a local store, I'd be taking it right back because I wanted a nice lid. Oh, yes, there are also bubbles in the plastic that make it less attractive to me.
Also, the description says you can wash the pan in a dishwasher, but the label says to wash in soapy water before use. It doesn't say the product is dishwasher safe. You also have to grease the pan before each use. Because it is an aluminum pan, I would not want to put it in the dishwasher because that will cause discoloration and pitting, so I don't mind handwashing it. I'll have to see how it holds up to occasional use. Somehow I doubt it's half as good as my old one.
- I received these pans as a wedding gift. really liked them initially, especially the lids. two months later, and two of the pans have developed holes in them. not scratches, but actual holes through the wall of the pan. i have no idea how this happened- i can't see how food or dishwashing soap could possibly be so corrosive. obviously this is a major flaw with this product.
- This is a great set. I didn't realize I would also be getting a shallow pan that I could make jelly rolls and HUGE cookies on. Great buy - great product!
- Perfect results when baking and cleans up easier than non-stick. Doesn't darken or warp in the oven.
- In my twenties I bought no less than three non-stick cookie sheets while my Grandmother (an avid baker) was still using her aluminum bakeware from the 40's. I later inherited a few of her aluminum pans and I couldn't believe the difference. My cookies were no longer crispy and brown on the outside and soft in the middle...they were baked evenly. I was also able to scub the sheet and place it in the dishwasher, something you can't do with non-stick varieties. Additionally, there is no danger of having teflon flake into your baked goods. Aluminum is tried and tested and provides professional results. Buy the right cookie sheet and buy it once! I have both the half and quarter sheets by Nordic as well as the 13x9 pan. I'm a devoted fan!

5 comments about Cuisinart BRK-100 Brick Oven Classic, Stainless Steel.
- We love this product. It heats quickly and evenly, and is large enough for almost everything we make. This is ideal for the two-person home.
- I can't believe how well this oven works. Make my Artisan Bread in 5 minutes a day without the hassle of adding water for steam. Love, love ,love it. Once considered buying a clay insert for my regular oven, but this does that job and more. Cannot believe how well it works for a 2 person family. Only had this a short time, so I imagine loving it more as I use it!!!!!
- I cook a lot but there are only two of us in the house, so I was really excited to have a nice oven that wouldn't heat up the whole kitchen every time I needed to bake something. I loved this oven for the first two or three months; it cooked everything so beautifully. Then I noticed things started burning. I tried adjusting rack levels and ingredients, thinking somehow I was in fault. Finally, I decided to check the temperature of the oven. I stuck an oven thermometer inside and was shocked... the oven was set at 350, but the thermometer showed that the temperature was actually reading hotter than the max temp. on my thermometer.
This might be just this particular oven, but I'm very disappointed. I called customer service (long, long wait) and was told the only thing I could do was ship it in and pay for the shipping to get it fixed. That is not an option for us, as it would be much too expensive (it is a heavy unit). I tried to look for a way to calibrate the oven myself, but it isn't available like in a conventional oven. All it does for us now is toast the occasional bagel and take up counter space (at least it's nice looking).
- I first ordered the Cuisinart BRK200 through one of Amazon's 3rd party suppliers. The oven arrived and I discovered the bottom element didn't come on. I took it up with Cuisinart - I paid to ship the one I had back to them and they quickly shipped me a new oven at their expense.
I live in a rural area and can't find good pizzas anywhere in the town close to me, so I mainly got this to cook pizzas at home. I can get a Wal-Mart Sams Choice fresh pizza, add my own toppings plus extra cheese - and I get a really good pizza with a nice pastry like crisp crust. I can also reheat cold pizza slices in the oven (always preheat for at least 20 minutes to get the brick hot) and they turn out as good as the pizza did the first time I baked it (and I always put on a little more mozarella at the second baking/reheating). For it's excellence at approximating the best pizza I could get in a good Pizza Joint - I give this oven 5 stars.
Before I purchased the BRK200 I came to Amazon and read all the reviews. Several people complained that there was not a light that indicated when the oven was preheated. Well, I say to them "Duh!" This oven operates differently than a standard oven so that kind of preheat light would not apply. The reason you preheat this oven for 20 to 30 minutes (I always preheat for 30 if doing pizza) is so the brick inlay and brick sides absorb the heat and come up to temperature along with the elements heating of the oven. Of course this process by which the bricks absorb and retain heat happens at a different rate than when the oven first reaches the temperature you set on the dial. The longer you preheat the oven, the more stable the overall temperature because of the heated brick and then the less the elements have to switch on and off to maintain set temperature. It didn't take me long to figure this out. I too had wondered why there wasn't a preheat light until I realized how this oven operates with the brick sides and plate. The hotter they are the less the elements come on and off.
There are also ways of getting creative with this oven. I always use parchment paper on top of the brick because when I didn't the pizza stuck and the brick insert is not that easy to clean when it gets gooey with cheese. And it should go without saying that you would not put the parchment paper in the oven until it is preheated and you are ready to put your food on top of it and bake. Once you do this you'll be amazed at what you can do - preheat the brick and you can make splendid Quesadillas, Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwiches, frozen egg rolls, etc. So in a way you can turn this into a sandwich grill. Also certain frozen foods like Country Fried Steaks or Frozen Breaded Chicken patties turn out crispy (like they were fried) and delicious when placed directly on the parchment paper over the preheated brick.
I haven't done much conventional baking yet. I did bake some breaded chicken breasts (A recipe called Chicken Divine) on the convection setting and they were wonderfully moist and tender.
Here are the few negatives - not enough to ruin the 5 star rating. I've seen the bottom element come on when using the Broil function. I don't think that this should happen. The listing tells you this comes with a baking tray but it doesn't. It does have a drip tray which you can use as a baking tray - but I called Quisinart and they have told me it is not a baking tray. Semantics I guess! I thought the recipe booklet could have been much better than it was. It just doesn't maximize the cooking potentials of this oven.
Overall, I'm very, very pleased with this purchase. Besides being an oven, it can reheat foods with a much better quality than a microwave. Just remember to always preheat the brick!
- I love my little BRK-300. Sure it is small, but with only two of us it is perfect. It performs just as well as my full size oven. This little gem bakes up a perfect, crispy thin crust pizza, something I was never able to accomplish with my full size oven. I love the convecton feature and it roasts chicken like nobodys business. I can actually bake boneless, skinless chicken breasts in it without them drying up. I also love the fact that I don't have to heat up my whole kitchen with my full-size oven during the hot Summer months.
The only gripes that I have with it are as follows: 1) The oven is just too small to cook a decent sized chicken using the rotisserie function. Chickens these days are enormous- even fryers. 2) After a few months my unit started beeping continually soon after turning it on. I contacted Cuisinart customer service and they promptly sent out a brand new oven to me. No problem. 3) The print around one of the dials on my first oven started rubbing off. It was hard to see which setting I was using, luckily I had the positions memorized. Once again, this problem was solved when Cuisinart sent me a new oven. 4) It does take a while to make toast in, but I didn't buy it for that purpose, so it's all good.
Overall, I love it and would definitely reccommend.

2 comments about Kitchen Supply Aluminum Half Size Sheet Pan 18-inch by 13-inch.
- Tim is absolutely right. Cooks Illustrated did a roundup some years ago and their basic conclusion was that lighter is better. Dark cookie sheets burn things. (i.e. nonstick.) (The also gave a nod but not really a review to those two-layer airpans. Avoid them--CC cookies take forever to brown, come out crunchy instead of chewy.)
But why doesn't anyone make a stainless half sheet!!! It's a breeze to clean with a metal scrubber, and much easier to keep bright and light than aluminum. This not to mention the research suggesting the links between aluminum and Altzheymer's.
- This is a "half sheet pan" actually, like the full heavy aluminum sheet pans most restaurants use but half the size.
The size fits in a small apartment oven (like mine), but still holds twice as much as your average "cookie sheet" you picked up at the local grocery store isle.
Most cheap "cookie sheets", like mine and your mom probably uses, are steel or teflon things that often burn the bottom of whatever is cooked on them if you're not careful..
My old cookie sheets would eventually (actually, very quickly) started to rust, got hard to clean, and looked like crap.. I found a good aluminum half-sheet pan doesn't rust, doesn't blacken the bottom of my food, and cleans up incredibly easily. I highly recommend picking one up! I've posted a couple of pictures of mine in action here too, check 'em out!

- This has all the bakeware you need to get your kitchen started. Decent quality and assortment. The only negative is the cheap measuring cups that come with the set. The handles started snapping off around the third washing. I didn't count that in the rating since I like the actuall bakeware so much.

- Best cookie sheet I have owned. Well made, resists the warping I have seen in other sheets, resists scorching, and even has a helpful little lip around perimeter of sheet to stop cookies from sliding off when removing sheet from oven.
- I have lived in Europe recently and was unable to use my jelly roll pans and cookie sheets because of the standard size of the ovens there. I purchased these because they would easily fit their ovens. I used them at Christmas and was thrilled at how the cookies came out. I have never used a cookie sheet that cooked such as to have the cookies literally sliding off the cookie sheet without any nudge. If you have a gas oven I would suggest watching the first batch to see the actual time you need in. I accidentally browned the bottom a little too much the first batch. They are more weighty than my other cookie sheets, but that is their only draw back. A true find for the frequent baker.

- I search far and wide to find these Aluminum cookie sheet pans of this size for my wife. She is well pleased with them and likes them better than the teflon coated sheets that are every where. They appear heavier than her old sheet pans.

- THIS COOKIE PAN IS WONDERFUL, I WASH IT IN THE DISHWASHER, WITH NO PROBLEMS. THE HANDLES ARE GREAT WHEN YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT OF THE OVEN, AND THE NON-STICK IS FABULOUS!!!!
- The sheet combines heavy gauge contruction, a low stick surface, and silicone rubber grips in a high quality baking product. This is simply the best consumer cookie sheet ... period.
- The Anolon Sure Grip Cookie pan is wonderful. I got before Christmas to bake Christmas cookies and they turned out great. No more sticking to the pan they slide right off. This is a great cookie pan you will love baking on it.
